Keep doing your thing Mark and Sam. There's an old saying "long as they talking about you, you must be relevant" so let them flap their yap. Your's is one of the few channels, I ask for notifications from.

Always enjoy your work and videos. I know my shooting has improved since I started using your products. Both my precision rifles are kitted up with your bipod system, muzzle brakes and bag riders. After replacing the Ug boot stock on the SCAR 17 with the ACR stock, I mounted your bag rider on the Ug boot stock so I could use your adjustable bag base while shooting the SCAR. There’s a lot of other shooters at our local range that come over to check out your products and I’m always happy to tell them where I got them. Thank you for everything Mark & Sam.

I've always been fascinated with ELD shooting. 1000 yards is my current goal to achieve as I'm fairly new to long distance. But the reality hit me like a truck when I remembered these were roughly over 2 mile shots. 9 seconds between fire/impact. Absolutely unreal, cheers 🙌

Another excellent and informative video. I’m particularly impressed by the stability and control over these large calibre very high ME rifles which one can clearly see when you fire. Hardly any movement is visible and that seems to translate into your accuracy ability and comfortability when firing.

As always excellent Marksmanship. I definitely applaud your ethics in terms of forcing others to shoot something they're not comfortable with. That is very wise. I do have a question however... How much energy do you projected is Down Range at the 2.2 miles on your 50.bmg projectile? Cheers

"This will rock you," as the words of this song depict what was happening to you each time you pulled the trigger on this beast. Not something that looks very enjoyable to shoot but, surely enjoyable to watch the one who is brave enough for the recoil thumping. Muzzle brake blast causing a dust storm as the brush vibrates and cleanses it branches shivering down to the core of its root system, bracing itself for the next round. And so it goes on and on until, the missle makes contact with the metal, over two miles away. Enjoyable you ask? Mark, an inequivical yes!

@@markandsamafterwork Mark, at 75 years of age I have written a few poetic lines. During this course of my life I have come to realize that bad poetry is worthless and good poetry brings about the same price.

Love your comments on ego and shooting too much gun, many years ago I watched a guy load up his .44 mag revolver for his girlfriend to shoot just after she had fired a modest.38 Special , she was not an experienced shooter. The result was not easy to witness!

Excellent update and explanation Mark! I too try to learn something with each range trip, especially in centerfire. I'm pretty far down in the weeds with reloading my own custom ammo so I really understand your passion for wanting to push out farther and learn more. So, did the .416 hole you target plate? Thanks for brining us along!

Needless to say I completely agree about only shooting what you're comfortable with, pretty stupid to 'macho' yourself out of the game. Sam shooting these would be like you shooting a 20mm or the like! Projectile development fascinating, as are all your efforts to hit at extended range. Keep up the good work!

Curious if you've done anything like a black powder .50 buffalo rifle out to 'hold my beer' distances. I'll have to look through the old videos. I wasn't really one for big stuff until recently when a buddy suggested a .50 project. It's something else to lob those sausages. Quite addicting, even at half the velocity you're shooting.

  • @kippamip

I'm guessing the length of barrel comes down to knowing at what point the projectile hits max rpm?
So if you had say a 30 inch barrel but you was hitting max rpm at 25 inch would the other 5 inches in effect just be slowing the projectile or would it still be helping the stabilisation?
    Sorry for the rookie question.

Why would Sam shoot something that she doesn’t want to? My girl won’t shoot the 20mm AG because it’s violent even for some bigger guys than me. Residual pressure in the barrel after the bullet leave is substantial and gives a long push. If you’re not expecting it it’ll bite you, even if it’s just an airgun.
I like shooting bigger caliber guns, but at the same time the tiny 22lr is one my favorite guns, so people shouldn’t judge somebody else for what is fun or not to them!
