I should ask an attorney how many attorneys would drop the case if their clients do that. It must have ruined that assignment for his attorneys.
That's why he testified "by narrative." His attorneys prob knew he would lie. And it's considered unethical for a lawyer to "suborn perjury," by asking questions they know their client will lie about.

Yeah... His arguments are very circular. Obviously this had to be faked, since I didn't kill him, so clearly the only possible explanation is that it was faked. It's the ever-classic defense "I'm innocent, which proves that I'm innocent and could only have been framed by assassin realtors conniving with the police. After all, how could incriminating evidence have ended up in my house unless I was framed? How could my DNA be reported as being under the victim's fingernails unless i was framed? How could a car that looks just like mine have been used unless I was framed? Q.E.D."

Also in on the frame was two of his former employees(Rita and Aleisha), the DNA lab, crime scene analysts, various detectives, and today Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson was also named. Not named in on the frame is the hired professional assassin and the elite hacker that planted all of the pictures, google map images, and idiCore screenshots taken in his work office.

100 percent of convicts were framed. This means that if you choose to break the law, you will pay for it because the authorities will lose their jobs if they seem like fools who can't get criminals.
That’s the part that blows my mind, too. The guy was responsible for estate management for recently-deceased Clark County residents without a readily-identifiable next-of-kin. That is *not* the kind of elected office that offers many opportunities to be some political power broker, but that’s exactly what this narcissist started deluding himself into believing for himself!

@@amandaclark2340 I think the intent is to discredit the guy who said he recognized him in the video in part based on his shoes (a fashionista who said that those looked like shoes Telles would wear). But of course the only evidence for his not ever wearing Nikes around workmates is his own statement, the defense didn't ask any of his other coworkers (some testified) to confirm. And, of course, that identification is pretty much irrelevant given the other evidence, and was far from the only tip they got that the guy in the hat might be Robert Telles, so...

Apparently, the independent crime lab (plus the police) were all involved in the conspiracy, not just the real estate company. So we have a) a lone killer who was enraged that Jeff German ruined his political career or b) a hundred people banded together to make it look like him. Sure Jan.

The jury foreman said that it was the walk that finally sealed the conviction. They compared the walk in the video, to his walk in a news story about him, and it was exactly the same.

He posed absolutely no threat to this realty company by September 2022. His name was mud. His political career and influence had been shot. This conspiracy would be a totally unnecessary risk for them to “take down” someone they had already taken down, according to his own version of events!
Telles said a lot of ridiculous things, but he really messed up when he said, "I never hung out with Mr. German when he was alive." So, you hung out with him when he was dead then?

As I listened to his “narrative”, I noticed his affect was extremely narcissistic. He didn’t present himself as credible, believable or innocent. The conspiracy theories are just plain ludicrous.
