They *BOTH* knew what kind of lifestyle she lived, they knew she was an addict who lost custody of her children, had no where to live, no way of supporting herself, and would work as a prostitute to buy her drugs. They knew this was a woman who likely wouldn't have been searched for or reported missing. It's not like she had a job that would be looking for her when she didn't turn up, she wasn't picking up and dropping kids off to school everyday, she wasn't expected to be at certain places at specific times. She wasn't a person who people would quickly become worried about. I believe they wanted a victim and they picked her for all those reasons.

Yes indeed. That is my favourite saying. No one thinks they want to grow up and be a junkie and in some cases a hooker. There are reasons behind these outcomes and usually, it's because of awful things that happened.

They were both in on it together, I'm a retired Police officer, I was an officer for over the 16 years I was then I was a Special Investigator for the Prosecuting Attorney for 12 more and I've seen alot of messed up stuff, There's no doubt in my mind he was in charge but she's not as innocent as she's playing it off as either.

The majority of people have experienced trauma’s in their life, but they are still responsible for taking or not taking someone’s life. To say otherwise is egregious.

Minus all those scientists that work at the nuclear labs, right? There’s way worse places in East Tennessee, than OR. I have a lot of very well educated friends in OR. Nuclear physicist, geologist, & other super smart people. Yes, there’s drugs but, I’m from Florida and could show you way worse places in East Tennessee.
At 50 seconds in when she said “and it doesn’t stop there” after naming all that horrific stuff made my jaw drop. I’ve been into true crime for a while but that got me, depressed honestly. I feel bad someone would ever have to endure that. There’s really no upside, who cares if they get put down it won’t change what they did to the victim.

My mother wanted her to be locked up. ( How dare such an individual be loose in her neighborhood!) Shortly thereafter heard about this horrific crime! Convinced it was her! Hope you are doing well! They didn't report her missing for around 3 months? They didn't miss her during Christmas? The new year? Sounds like she had a turbulent life which resulted in her kids being taken away and a family that may have cared but didn't seem to care enough maybe. Hard to understand why they'd not report her missing for 3 months. The mother of their grandchildren, the mother of their nieces... Sad situation all round.
She was reported by then and found in jail got released then he kidnapped her in December then we put out another one

There’s lots of reasons to lose your kids other than drugs. But they do state she had used drugs, then got the kids taken THEN it got worse and she spiraled downward.
