The misuse of the word "executed" in place of the word "killed" or "murdered" is appalling.

This is how we do things in America.
Especially the niece. I am assuming that she was present in court during all of the testimony, so would have heard that it was her action of throwing the cup of water, or whatever it was, that was the cause of the deadly reaction. I'm not justifying it at all - but if I had been in her place, and learned that my action caused that reaction, I would be playing that over and over again for the rest of my life in my mind, and wishing I could have a do-over. 😥 That's tough.

While there is no justification for pulling a gun on someone in a non-life-threatening situation, including road rage, it’s clear that Whitney’s own temper played a significant role in escalating the incident. Instructing a 16-year-old to throw something at the other car shows a lack of restraint, especially after she had reportedly expressed concern about the children in her vehicle. If their safety was truly a priority, a more responsible approach would have been to de-escalate the confrontation. That being said, her actions, while misguided, certainly didn’t warrant such a tragic and fatal response.
