IKR?! Then he spends the rest of the time avoiding the jury. For instance he's looking at his computer screen when nothing is being shown? WTH is he looking at? Or he uses his arm to cut them off. His body language says so much. When they stand for the jury, he keeps his head down like a guilty person would. Every now and then shifting his eyes their way I think he's looking when he sees them taking notes (I remember the judge credited them for keeping good notes)
I cannot begin to imagine what it would have been like to work in that office under his direction. Through the rabbit hole?
We've all had a nightmare job like that so I think it hits us all that way

Meh That reporter was a low rate cheap national inquire gossip reporter that had something coming to him( certainly not murder though) for getting into people’s personal business and taking it public.
They should make a movie about this case, however it would have to be a comedy.
The prosecutor's performance is impeccably accurate... He's the kind of professional that I'd undoubtedly trust in. He addressed the defendant with unquestionable demeanor.

It's pretty obvious that the local police, a real estate company, the DNA crime lab, an international cell phone service provider, a local news organization, and two international tech companies really needed a low-level county official out of the way during his lame duck period.

The story of Robert Talas is the scariest murder case I have ever heard of. If he hadn’t been so foolish and used his wife’s car, and if he had gotten rid of all the evidence, including electronic traces, he could have gotten away without punishment. This story tells me that if the killer is professional, he could kill anyone without being held accountable, and that is extremely frightening and worrying.
They still have surveillance and his stupid walk. They arrested him then searched his home. Know the facts. There was more. His testimony on the stand was the biggest evidence he DID IT. The jury would have found him guilty.
Dozens or hundreds of people involved in a conspiracy, performing hacks across dozens of computers, phones, messaging systems, email accounts, GPS data, phone images, SIM card duping, bribing people to lie under oath to defeat one narcissist.
Or this one guy is a murderer.
