Parents of psychopathic kids are in a terrible bind. They love their children. But they are also responsible for helping the child. Psychopaths are notoriously avoidant of psych professionals who could accurately diagnose them. Parents won't force the child to go. That's when tragedy becomes inevitable.

the parents raised a narcissist psychopath, and didn't even know it. He probably wanted for nothing, the mom even bought him a car for graduation. Just because someone has a high IQ and is intelligent does not mean they are not psychopaths. This is evil, and this is someone who has gone over to the dark side. You say it's unbelievable, . It is very believable and probably more common than you think. Parents will sacrifice their own lives to take the kid back and give him a second chance. He should have been give over to child services.
