That sounds awful. Too late for this trick to be useful, but in MCC, you can actually pause cutscenes on Xbox at least by hitting the guide button. Not sure if there's an equivalent on PC.

The one time I died and reset the entire mission by accident happens on this mission, 45 minutes in game and over 2 hours in real life. I'm going to go build a house in Minecraft or something until I'm not bummed out anymore. Love the guide, makes life so much easier.
@@xXOsledgeOXx I think he was implying he accidentally selected restart mission which is right next to save and quit. Save and Quit works on all the games.
Took me ages to kill the sentinels at the start and then when I finally actually managed it, I was on 1 health and no shield lmao. Needless to say the next room wasn't really doable lol
I just realized that the Master Chief got on a pelican, went to the 343 guilty spark facility, sped through the Library and got teleported back to the map room and it took the covenant THAT long to get to the map room after the Master chief cleared it out
Presumably Cortana was keeping them locked out. Perhaps the sentinels were also keeping the covenant busy? Plus by then the flood had been unleashed, Cortana realizes at the end of AoTCR, and at the beginning of Halo 2 Arbiter says they focused on containing the flood, not on the humans.
@@Omega4Productions Yeah you have that last conversation with Captain Keys where he says "Here are your orders" and then after that he is out of reach after activating the cartographer. That makes sense then why the covenant was so distracted.
When doing the infinite reload glitch on PC hold down E (your action keybind), and just before you swap weapons, double tap reload. I saw this comment by Baron von Zlatan, thought this would help anyone having trouble with the infinite reload glitch.

Hey Silver, just gotta make this request again; could you provide a link to the old unlisted LASO guide in the description of each corresponding new guide? Sometimes you use new tactics or methods, it'd be useful for players to have a choice between your tactics incase they can't pull off the ones you showcase in your new guides. Additionally, some people might just want to check the older guides to compare them out of curiosity
This level was my nightmare on CE. T&R thanks to you silver, was a not so hard, took 5 hours but I did it in one sitting. But this... THIS LEVEL.. The first 4 sentinels are the bane of my existence... The first whole room in general is just stupid. And there is nothing like finally get out of that hellhole, only to get rocketed by a flood, do the iron workaround... *And the level restarting anyways.* It happen 4 times, each time further in the mission I was about to break and never play this playlists again.. but I took the bull by the horns and using the infinite ammo glitch, I wipe out all this level, i kill every single living thing in this sector of the ring, not even the smallest infection form survived my wrath Almost 11 hours of sitting in my pc, 6 hours in game, just killing absolutely everything and everyone with rockets from a distance. I was not risking another iron workaround failing on me...and you know something funny? The malfunction skull decided to take my radical.. i was trying to snipe, with a rocket, without radical. Definitely hateand anger where onto me, i literally speedrun keyes and the maw without major issue, iron workaround worked just fine after two betrayals. I need therapy thanks to this damn level.
Played this on co-op and had an interesting bug occur. Me and my friend made it to the final section, where there are two wraiths and a bunch of flood and covenant fighting. We were clearing everything out to get the banshees when I decided to wrap around to get a better angle, and I got teleported back to the last checkpoint as if one of us had died. Except, neither one of us did. On my friends end, we were still alive but I got stuck jumping nonstop like a maniac, while on my end we were at the last checkpoint. On my side his inputs were still being read in real time even though we were both clearly experiencing different situations, and not long after my game froze but didn’t kick me out the party. He could continue the mission on his own, however every time he died and respawned I would toss a random grenade and keep jumping nonstop. I’m assuming some weird de-sync happened and is what caused us to bug out, but it sucks that it happened at the very end of the mission
Idk if this is a dumb question because I just recently learned of online co-op as opposed to couch co-op. But were you playing couch co-op or online co-op, and on which platform (PC or Xbox)?
@@jamesmorris9120if it helps; co-op can only be played on xbox, as PC doesn't support overall co-op OR campaign crossplay co-op with xbox. So given the context, him and his friend were most likely playing through online Xbox co-op.
Back when I first tried my hand at laso, this was the mission I threw the towel in cause for the life of me I just couldn't get past one of the bridge sections. Went back 8-9 months later and finished that vintage. And now I'm once again putting myself through this pain for no reason other than a fancy Discord role :P 8/46
Damn I would get mad without this guide, just finished this one on PC. The main points: the despawn trick at the start didn't work for me (but at some points there were less enemies, I think), so you should have a decent amount of health and shields to make it across to the tower and pick everyone metodically (took me 20 minutes) with infinite ammo glitch with sniper/magnum. On the second floor (tower with sniper/magnum) there's a space through which you can pick everyone. Enemies won't rush the tower. The wraith won't activate till you get to the rocket launcher. It will overshoot, so pick 3-4 elites and one golden elite on the ground (my combo was magnum/sniper/rocket launcher), and then carefully move to the right part of the tunnel of the first floor, but be careful, wraith can kill you from there. You can try and flank it from the left side of the tunnel on the first floor. The spawn block with banshee worked, but to get it to the place I had to switch for the controller. Overall just don't rush, for me this one was longer (arond 3 hrs), and less RNG based, T&R was harder.
For anyone getting frustrated with the infinite ammo glitch, I found it would only work half the time because I was picking my weapon back up too quickly. Make sure you give it a slight second after the sound finishes or it wont work
Hey man I know this is two years old by I figured I would ask. Can you explain how to get the nfinite ammo glitch to work? I'm on library and can only get it to work half the time
@@jelitejbzzz you stand over a weapon and press reload twice. The weapon you dropped makes the reload sound while it's on the ground and you have to wait for it to cycle through the entire reload before picking it back up. I almost always wait a minimum of 10 seconds just to be safe
Hey Silver! Thanks so much for the guides! I wouldn't have been able to complete these LASO playlists without them! Also on PC the infinite ammo glitch is easier on the old graphics. For the pistol, rockets, and assault rifle it is easier to double hit reload then switch weapons whereas the shotgun you need to hold switch then double hit reload.
@@mathiasabelin6871 Yeah. I took my time and spammed rockets the entire map. I also used his trick of going up again and shooting the vehicles from the bridge above.
For PC players trying to do the infinite ammo glitch for instance on this level when you use your rockets backpack it immediately stand on the AR and swap back to your rockets and you have to hit reload twice just like the backpack reload glitch then drop the rockets for the AR and wait for the reload sound to finish if you dont hit reload twice it wont work
Finished it with the library in the same day thanks to you of course, your guide was perfect and helped me alot. Hardest thing for my was to remember pausing the game after dying, I used the solo 2 controllers methode for the first 7 missions so i am not used to quite/save. I lost 2 runs by forgetting to Save/quite but luckly both of them was at the first 10 minutes.
In the room that you blocked with the banshee, I had the incredibly bad luck of not getting a single AR or pistol drop, so I was also forced to burn rocket ammo, unfortunately. But I got enough rocket drops in the flood massacre that it didn't matter. Excellent guide, big help in getting through this chore of a level.
at around 32:00, i had constant problems with weapons falling through the floor when juggling them up the slope, I found that the shotgun falls through more than the other weapons. I had to save and quit about 12 times due to this. So i decided to juggle up the ar/pistol instead and go back for the shotty later. worked a lot better
Thank you so much for the guide I was able the complete this lvl on laso. For those wondering I'm playing on steam version and rocket bug works (as soon as you shoot, switch to your secondary weapon (tab for me) then go near to the weapon on floor you want to take, then use tab(to switch into rocket) press r+r fast (reload key) and then swap for the weapon on floor (e pick up) and wait for the reload sound is donde, about 2 or 3 seconds. To resume shoot rocket+tab+tab+r+r+e
mate, I was about 80% through this mission and decided to take a break from slaso for a bit. an update caused my progress to reset and now I have to start from the beginning with this level
For the very beginning Sentinels, you can kill them a much easier way. Just skip cutscene and go forward and throw a plasma grenade across the bridge slightly to the left and then hide behind the first glass panel on that right side. You will kill 3 of them instantly (sometimes all of them), then can kill the last one however you like with your second nade.
The 3rd banshee that spawns outside the tower where you use the banshee to plug a corridor has a chance for the pilot to eject. I was chasing the 2nd banshee that hangs around where the hunter duo is and the 3rd banshee fell out of the sky without me ever seeing it fly.
I found this mission harder than Truth and Reconciliation. Truth took me 1.5 hours. ( 48 minutes mission time), Two Betrayals took me over 3 hours (1 hour 45 minutes mission time).

for people wondering about infinite ammo on pc cause you are playing at higher fps your timing is a lot quicker so just letting it reload doesnt work you have to switch weapons go back double tap and switch before the rocket casing is removed from the gun and the shotgun before the first shell is in
Im not sure what triggers it but sometimes when you walk through that door the infection forms just vanish like that I think it looks weird because hes looking down if you look straight at them they just vanish like normal
What I did instead of the Banshee trick was that I didn't pick up any rocket ammo and used all three of the spunkrs including mine for a trail of ready to fire SPUNKRS. I was surprised that it worked on my first try. Also you have to be quick with the rapid switching between the gun shuffling between one Assault rifle and the two rocket launchers that are on the trail. I had one and shot at the exit then switched to the assualt which I had placed next to me then I turned left and went into my little trail of spunkrs.
I just can't believe it. I reached the minute 50:00 of your guide, save quit like usual after failing. BOOM, it restarted the whole mission. I'm so done. EDIT: I finally did it. OH, MY, GOD.
@@ianhellsing3327 if you're still having this problem, (on pc at least), each time you quit out it will deload your rank for a second (like the symbol thing to the left of your name) and then it'll reappear. What's happened to me before is if i reload before the rank reloads, it resets. That may be your problem
Wow this one was laborious, but still not as annoying at T&R. Mission timer said 1 hour 45 min but it probably took me around 3 hours real-time. Great vid!
Was playing Legendary with a buddy of mine and at 26:27 the same thing happened to us too with the infection forms just vanishing into the walls. Only difference is the game hard crashed at that moment
Hey @Silver I may have found a slightly easier way to do the trick at 17:30-19:10 mark. It's nothing crazy by any means, but I found if you shoot the window first (the one that was broken for you), and then shoot the rocket in the same spot you did. Turn around and head back into the hallway with the door, and do the infinite reload glitch there with the door closed. For some reason it breaks contact with the flood until the door opens again, so they wont pursue you. Wait a few seconds for all the flood to pool up in the front of the door, and send another rocket. The door will close, so back up to the second corner before the door, and wait for the door to open and throw a grenade. Should kill most of the remaining flood, if not, just shotgun them. After that, the remaining flood will be the two pairs of 3 at the end of the area before the elites spawn. Walk to the original spot where you shot the rocket, and look at the window to the right of the doorway/arch. Should see a glass window with flood, shoot a bullet, wait till those 3 flood agro towards the window and shoot a rocket. Move forward after, and go right before the doorway/arch where the second pair of 3 flood are. You should be able to see 2, and you just shoot a last rocket to kill them! Can't say if it is easier or not, but it did help me out a little bit 😄Regardless tho, thanks for the guide it's been a HUGE help with doing solo LASO runs lol!

Of course I died during the final cutscene -.- Couldn't pause and turned off my xbox too late. At least it's not too hard, just time consuming. Done, on to the next mission.
53:30 Getting the banshee through the door is not that hard and make your life so much easier. All you have to do after is to hit some triggers. Those on the bridge, kill the five floods like you did here 49:40, and spawn the enemies in the last area by flying close to the ground where you have to jump on the rock here 53:45

The thing that did it for me was to turn a bit left just before the right wing goes through the door. if you manage to get to the part at 0;30 sec in the video it's almost GG. all you have do do after is look down right pressing foward then look down left pressing backward, repeat until you get through.

I've played TB, and at least on Legendary, T&R is definitely more difficult. This is especially true on LASO because you have only two weapons at your avail thanks to the Foreign Skull, and neither one is the Pistol. No infinite ammo glitch as a result of that, either.
hnkul702 Yea, that is true. It’s mostly up to play style and coping capabilities that define which mission is harder and for whom. T&R has a major skip in it that you simply cannot do in TB. What i said at the end was a poor attempt of humor
To be fair, when I did a legendary playthrough, I absolutely yeeted my ass in TB and skipped the final 3 way fight in the canyon, escaping by the skin of my teeth. T&R (and Keys) I found much harder because I couldn't skip any of the level, haha..
The third set of doors that brings you outside for the first time? You have to hit the switch to open those doors and then hit the switch again at the right time to despawn all the grunts. That way theres only 2 jackals and 2 elites.
I know I am late on this, but I have tried to do this mission twice on Laso. Both time getting to 32:14 without any problem whatsoever. Both times after investing over 90 mins the first time, and just over 60 mins the second time, save & quit restarted the mission. SMH not even worth playing a game thats so buggy and restarts the mission when i pause save&quit the second i die. Waste of time
this level wouldnt be so frustrating if the game would stop restarting me even though i'm doing the iron skull save and quit method correctly. I also noticed that near the end when I try to take out that wraith at the end, my third weapon almost always disappears through the ground if you drop it forwards from that spot at all. I did eventually finish it, the more I memorized and the less often I had to save/quit/resume the less likely it was to restart on me. Now I never want to try this again...maybe coop but only for a REALLY good friend XD
Im... Just so scared.... multiple times checkpoints just.. don't work... Silver, thank you so much for your guides but.. could you have the slightless idea why some checkpoints just reject the save/quit exploit? I had an insane amount of resets out of nowhere when i was doing the exploit as soon as i died.. Currently i took down the banshees and the rocket flood of the bridge and i am so scared of just wasting my progress...
Finished Library, gonna tackle this one today. I was wondering though. For the twin bridges part starting at 13:50, isn't it possible to kill the jackals first and then use the slope of the windows at the start of the bridge, to just jump to the opposite bridge? I'm guessing you'll need to hit some trigger points first though, so maybe walking along the other side, letting the flood jump over to attack the covenant, and when you reach the end, just use the same tactic to jump back over so you're at the same spot as 17:00? And the same thing can be done at 22:59, jump over to the other bridge, run along to the end and jump over again. Then go a bit back to trigger the infection forms at 25:50 and just turn around to hit the room at 26:00? I'm just brainstorming a bit to see if that can't make it a bit easier for LASO or speedrunning? I'm guessing hardcore halo fans that played this game for over 15 years have already tried this and there will prolly be something that doesn't trigger the objective in that level, so you can't finish it? I know that some triggers need to be met, for example grenade jumping to skip the first room at 8:00 and not jumping over the trigger exactly at 9:39 when you drop from the ceiling. I thought I had done somewhat the same thing like the banshee grab in AotCR, where all the enemies don't load into the game, but it doesn't let you finish the level though.
That strategy works on Assault on the Control Room, but not Two Betrayals, unfortunately. There's a bunch of triggers that need to be hit in TB. You can proceed forward, but the banshees at the end won't spawn in so you can't fly up to the final 2 objectives. The objectives may not be spawned in either.
@@HaloCompletionist Yeah those triggers are all over the place in that level, I was able to do and it was like you said, all the flood on the bridge need to be triggered to continue. Anyways, completed this level and the rest of the playlist. I thought this level would be the most difficult one, but it was actually fairly "easy", you just need to a lot of patience here. Cheers!
For some reason, at the bit just after the warthog and you're getting the banshee for the 2nd Beam of Light area, the rocket launcher just falls through the ground wherever I stand to take out the hunters and elites from afar.
Is it possible to juggle the sniper in first section into the first bridge? I tried to take it up to the second level by the elevator once but the gun fell through.
Am I stupid or is it damn impossible to get the ghost through the gap at 46:48??? I've tried a million times and I can't seem to get it to go in the way he got it to go in.

Is there any chance of you potentially making a guide without the use of the Infinite Ammo glitch? Not being able to perform it makes following these kind of hard. I was able to do it for The Library, but you didn't have rockets for most of it anyways and that last room was pretty harrowing.
Just started the mission and I’m already having issues. I’m not spawning with plasma grenades. Beginning of the mission though, so I’m sure I’ll find a way around
How can I do the first room and hallway before after the first Light Beam if Im low on Shot gun Ammo (22x) and 0 nades...... I managed to get to the hallway once and ran out of shotgun ammo.... EDIT: NVM I made it through barely with some good RNG and stealthy assassinations Also worth noting the Shotgun doesnt always automatically reload. If you dont have an even amount of shells in the shotgun is will just sit there and click if you try to shoot because you dont have enough shells to shoot but it doesnt register as needing to reload since it has the 1 shell left.

This level is definitely the longest. I took my time too and finished with 2:15:00 in game time

Overall just don't rush, for me this one was longer (arond 3 hrs), and less RNG based, T&R was harder.
Neither work, I get 3 grunts 2 jackals and 2 elites, the despawn will not work and I die before I am able to smack anyone

For anyone getting frustrated with the infinite ammo glitch, I found it would only work half the time because I was picking my weapon back up too quickly. Make sure you give it a slight second after the sound finishes or it wont work
Hey man I know this is two years old by I figured I would ask. Can you explain how to get the nfinite ammo glitch to work? I'm on library and can only get it to work half the time
@@jelitejbzzz you stand over a weapon and press reload twice. The weapon you dropped makes the reload sound while it's on the ground and you have to wait for it to cycle through the entire reload before picking it back up. I almost always wait a minimum of 10 seconds just to be safe

Hey Silver! Thanks so much for the guides! I wouldn't have been able to complete these LASO playlists without them!
Also on PC the infinite ammo glitch is easier on the old graphics. For the pistol, rockets, and assault rifle it is easier to double hit reload then switch weapons whereas the shotgun you need to hold switch then double hit reload.
Did you complete Two Betrayals already?

For PC players trying to do the infinite ammo glitch for instance on this level when you use your rockets backpack it immediately stand on the AR and swap back to your rockets and you have to hit reload twice just like the backpack reload glitch then drop the rockets for the AR and wait for the reload sound to finish if you dont hit reload twice it wont work

That's actually pretty consistent with where and when i shoot my rocket. It looks random, but that is legit me doing it on purpose lol.
7:53 I took the Banshee with me through that door. That's pretty easy and I used it to bomb most enemies away in the first room.
I did that too, it saved me a lot of ammo. Just gotta be careful not to let the Grunts stick your banshee
Finished it with the library in the same day thanks to you of course, your guide was perfect and helped me alot. Hardest thing for my was to remember pausing the game after dying, I used the solo 2 controllers methode for the first 7 missions so i am not used to quite/save. I lost 2 runs by forgetting to Save/quite but luckly both of them was at the first 10 minutes.
In the room that you blocked with the banshee, I had the incredibly bad luck of not getting a single AR or pistol drop, so I was also forced to burn rocket ammo, unfortunately. But I got enough rocket drops in the flood massacre that it didn't matter. Excellent guide, big help in getting through this chore of a level.

at around 32:00, i had constant problems with weapons falling through the floor when juggling them up the slope, I found that the shotgun falls through more than the other weapons. I had to save and quit about 12 times due to this. So i decided to juggle up the ar/pistol instead and go back for the shotty later. worked a lot better

Thank you so much for the guide I was able the complete this lvl on laso. For those wondering I'm playing on steam version and rocket bug works (as soon as you shoot, switch to your secondary weapon (tab for me) then go near to the weapon on floor you want to take, then use tab(to switch into rocket) press r+r fast (reload key) and then swap for the weapon on floor (e pick up) and wait for the reload sound is donde, about 2 or 3 seconds.
To resume shoot rocket+tab+tab+r+r+e

mate, I was about 80% through this mission and decided to take a break from slaso for a bit. an update caused my progress to reset and now I have to start from the beginning with this level
More pain and suffering
For the very beginning Sentinels, you can kill them a much easier way. Just skip cutscene and go forward and throw a plasma grenade across the bridge slightly to the left and then hide behind the first glass panel on that right side. You will kill 3 of them instantly (sometimes all of them), then can kill the last one however you like with your second nade.
The 3rd banshee that spawns outside the tower where you use the banshee to plug a corridor has a chance for the pilot to eject. I was chasing the 2nd banshee that hangs around where the hunter duo is and the 3rd banshee fell out of the sky without me ever seeing it fly.

31:40 I don't find too difficult to just rush past the enemy vehicles here with the Ghost.
for people wondering about infinite ammo on pc cause you are playing at higher fps your timing is a lot quicker so just letting it reload doesnt work you have to switch weapons go back double tap and switch before the rocket casing is removed from the gun and the shotgun before the first shell is in

Im not sure what triggers it but sometimes when you walk through that door the infection forms just vanish like that I think it looks weird because hes looking down if you look straight at them they just vanish like normal
It's due to the grunt funeral skull: there should be a dead grunt or two, so when you walk in the infection forms disappear
What I did instead of the Banshee trick was that I didn't pick up any rocket ammo and used all three of the spunkrs including mine for a trail of ready to fire SPUNKRS.
I was surprised that it worked on my first try. Also you have to be quick with the rapid switching between the gun shuffling between one Assault rifle and the two rocket launchers that are on the trail.
I had one and shot at the exit then switched to the assualt which I had placed next to me then I turned left and went into my little trail of spunkrs.
I just can't believe it. I reached the minute 50:00 of your guide, save quit like usual after failing. BOOM, it restarted the whole mission. I'm so done.

@@ianhellsing3327 if you're still having this problem, (on pc at least), each time you quit out it will deload your rank for a second (like the symbol thing to the left of your name) and then it'll reappear. What's happened to me before is if i reload before the rank reloads, it resets. That may be your problem

Wow this one was laborious, but still not as annoying at T&R. Mission timer said 1 hour 45 min but it probably took me around 3 hours real-time. Great vid!
Was playing Legendary with a buddy of mine and at 26:27 the same thing happened to us too with the infection forms just vanishing into the walls. Only difference is the game hard crashed at that moment
It happens because there's a grunt and an elite corpse on the floor but due to the grunt funeral it explodes and kills the infection forms.
I died in the last room. Savequitresumed as per usual. Start of the mission. Fuck.

I may have found a slightly easier way to do the trick at 17:30-19:10 mark. It's nothing crazy by any means, but I found if you shoot the window first (the one that was broken for you), and then shoot the rocket in the same spot you did. Turn around and head back into the hallway with the door, and do the infinite reload glitch there with the door closed. For some reason it breaks contact with the flood until the door opens again, so they wont pursue you.
Wait a few seconds for all the flood to pool up in the front of the door, and send another rocket. The door will close, so back up to the second corner before the door, and wait for the door to open and throw a grenade. Should kill most of the remaining flood, if not, just shotgun them.
After that, the remaining flood will be the two pairs of 3 at the end of the area before the elites spawn.
Walk to the original spot where you shot the rocket, and look at the window to the right of the doorway/arch. Should see a glass window with flood, shoot a bullet, wait till those 3 flood agro towards the window and shoot a rocket.
Move forward after, and go right before the doorway/arch where the second pair of 3 flood are. You should be able to see 2, and you just shoot a last rocket to kill them!
Can't say if it is easier or not, but it did help me out a little bit 😄Regardless tho, thanks for the guide it's been a HUGE help with doing solo LASO runs lol!

Figured it out just had to wait longer after I dropped the gun went through reload just give it enough time then pick it back up
Of course I died during the final cutscene -.- Couldn't pause and turned off my xbox too late.
At least it's not too hard, just time consuming.

53:30 Getting the banshee through the door is not that hard and make your life so much easier.
All you have to do after is to hit some triggers. Those on the bridge, kill the five floods like you did here 49:40, and spawn the enemies in the last area by flying close to the ground where you have to jump on the rock here 53:45

hard to explain on paper. The thing that did it for me was to turn a bit left just before the right wing goes through the door.
if you manage to get to the part at 0;30 sec in the video it's almost GG. all you have do do after is look down right pressing foward then look down left pressing backward, repeat until you get through.
Yeah early banshee grab is the best trick once you learn it.

There are those who say T&R is the hardest mission in Halo: Combat Evolved. Clearly they’ve never played TB
I've played TB, and at least on Legendary, T&R is definitely more difficult. This is especially true on LASO because you have only two weapons at your avail thanks to the Foreign Skull, and neither one is the Pistol. No infinite ammo glitch as a result of that, either.

Yea, that is true. It’s mostly up to play style and coping capabilities that define which mission is harder and for whom. T&R has a major skip in it that you simply cannot do in TB. What i said at the end was a poor attempt of humor
To be fair, when I did a legendary playthrough, I absolutely yeeted my ass in TB and skipped the final 3 way fight in the canyon, escaping by the skin of my teeth. T&R (and Keys) I found much harder because I couldn't skip any of the level, haha..

When I exit the doors theres way more than two jackals and an elite theres always a grunt that sees me right away. Anyone else have this issue?
The third set of doors that brings you outside for the first time? You have to hit the switch to open those doors and then hit the switch again at the right time to despawn all the grunts. That way theres only 2 jackals and 2 elites.

I know I am late on this, but I have tried to do this mission twice on Laso. Both time getting to 32:14 without any problem whatsoever. Both times after investing over 90 mins the first time, and just over 60 mins the second time, save & quit restarted the mission. SMH not even worth playing a game thats so buggy and restarts the mission when i pause save&quit the second i die. Waste of time

at 36:00 I got a checkpoint after killing the wraith and all grunts near the 2 banshee spawns.

Trying to fit the banshee in the door got me killed, I was so shocked I missed my quick save oppertunity.....CBA to do it all again.

Hellz yeah. Figured out how to make that first combat form a reviver 100% of the time on console. Only seen it consistently performed on PC until now.

this level wouldnt be so frustrating if the game would stop restarting me even though i'm doing the iron skull save and quit method correctly.
I also noticed that near the end when I try to take out that wraith at the end, my third weapon almost always disappears through the ground if you drop it forwards from that spot at all.
I did eventually finish it, the more I memorized and the less often I had to save/quit/resume the less likely it was to restart on me. Now I never want to try this again...maybe coop but only for a REALLY good friend XD

Halo CE LASO playlist doesn't have the blind skull, instead it has the malfunction skull which randomly disables 1 element of your HUD

I had an insane amount of resets out of nowhere when i was doing the exploit as soon as i died..
Currently i took down the banshees and the rocket flood of the bridge and i am so scared of just wasting my progress...

Finished Library, gonna tackle this one today. I was wondering though. For the twin bridges part starting at 13:50, isn't it possible to kill the jackals first and then use the slope of the windows at the start of the bridge, to just jump to the opposite bridge? I'm guessing you'll need to hit some trigger points first though, so maybe walking along the other side, letting the flood jump over to attack the covenant, and when you reach the end, just use the same tactic to jump back over so you're at the same spot as 17:00?
And the same thing can be done at 22:59, jump over to the other bridge, run along to the end and jump over again. Then go a bit back to trigger the infection forms at 25:50 and just turn around to hit the room at 26:00?
I'm just brainstorming a bit to see if that can't make it a bit easier for LASO or speedrunning? I'm guessing hardcore halo fans that played this game for over 15 years have already tried this and there will prolly be something that doesn't trigger the objective in that level, so you can't finish it?
I know that some triggers need to be met, for example grenade jumping to skip the first room at 8:00 and not jumping over the trigger exactly at 9:39 when you drop from the ceiling. I thought I had done somewhat the same thing like the banshee grab in AotCR, where all the enemies don't load into the game, but it doesn't let you finish the level though.
That strategy works on Assault on the Control Room, but not Two Betrayals, unfortunately. There's a bunch of triggers that need to be hit in TB. You can proceed forward, but the banshees at the end won't spawn in so you can't fly up to the final 2 objectives. The objectives may not be spawned in either.
@@HaloCompletionist Yeah those triggers are all over the place in that level, I was able to do and it was like you said, all the flood on the bridge need to be triggered to continue. Anyways, completed this level and the rest of the playlist. I thought this level would be the most difficult one, but it was actually fairly "easy", you just need to a lot of patience here. Cheers!

When this guide was made there was a bug with the Mythic skull in all of the games where it wasn’t actually on in the LASO playlists.
For some reason, at the bit just after the warthog and you're getting the banshee for the 2nd Beam of Light area, the rocket launcher just falls through the ground wherever I stand to take out the hunters and elites from afar.

Is it possible to juggle the sniper in first section into the first bridge? I tried to take it up to the second level by the elevator once but the gun fell through.
Like 1 out of every 10 times the infinite ammo trick doesn't work and the ammo count goes down. Why is this? I do the same timing every time.
Am I stupid or is it damn impossible to get the ghost through the gap at 46:48??? I've tried a million times and I can't seem to get it to go in the way he got it to go in.

Is there any chance of you potentially making a guide without the use of the Infinite Ammo glitch? Not being able to perform it makes following these kind of hard. I was able to do it for The Library, but you didn't have rockets for most of it anyways and that last room was pretty harrowing.

How can I do the first room and hallway before after the first Light Beam if Im low on Shot gun Ammo (22x) and 0 nades...... I managed to get to the hallway once and ran out of shotgun ammo....
EDIT: NVM I made it through barely with some good RNG and stealthy assassinations
Also worth noting the Shotgun doesnt always automatically reload. If you dont have an even amount of shells in the shotgun is will just sit there and click if you try to shoot because you dont have enough shells to shoot but it doesnt register as needing to reload since it has the 1 shell left.
Just a question but Why don't you do bool, it skips basically all the combat sections and iirc Garish did it on his LASO playthrough
