1. Forward on the D-pad
2. Lure flood back to the start with burning wall.
3. Go into the corner fully so that the fire is hurting you and then come out just on the edge so the fire is no longer burning you
4. Once the flood is right next to you against the wall you SHOULD have to crouch and then jump to get over the top of him.
5. Gently come down the other side of him.
6. Now a-line your body up with the second from the left swirly line thing. Look at the indent between panels and then a-line with the second swirly vertical line from the indent. Shoot the flood in the spore head.
7. When he goes down, crouch directly over his head (you can try pressing forward if purely standing over the center of the head doesn’t work)
8. He should bump you through the wall when he revives

I actually did the flood bump when I did LASO and had no idea that you could make the combat form consistently a reviver. Thanks for this, awesome guide as always!
You can't. Tried this exact method over and over and it's always a 50% chance he's a reviver.
I feel like people spend so long trying different methods to guarantee a reviving flood that it ends up taking more time than if they just left it to chance and reloaded until they got lucky
For speedrunners it makes sense to learn those tricks, but for a regular LASO run I don’t see why you wouldn’t just reload considering it’s the very start of the level

Thanks for the guide (and all of your guides). I had a ton of trouble replicating this on MCC PC.
To those coming to this video and getting stuck like I was, I found that I was completely unable to consistently get revivers. It seemed to work better the earlier I tried from starting MCC, but still very inconsistent.
The main thing I learned from researching this trick is that when you are standing on your reviver, you need to stand above the infection form - not just the center of the body, it's something about the infection form hitbox that works. I kept getting the flood launched through the wall, or just getting myself nudged to one side or the other - once I learned that, my next reviver was an instant success.
Ehi, just want to share my personal experience to make the reviver flood (xbox): start in classic mode, and skip the intro video in 1-2 sec (you can notice an explosion in the left side), then start walking, and switch graphic after 2-3 sec. I'm also used to jump 2-3 times during the whole corridor, but i don't think this can be usefull. If you fail, go back to old graphics, restart and re-do.
As I said, this worked for me (6 consecutive times), i can't say if it is true for every one!
Anyway, thanks for your videos, I always dreamed to complete all halo's laso!
Can confirm, this way works more consistently.

I can't get it to work either 😅 which is really frustrating as a few months ago I did the shield bump on my first bloody attempt.
I'm playing through the mcc on legendary atm and while I'm not good enough to do a LASO run yet I'm workin my way up to it. Appreciate the effort you've put into these even if I'm not following atm, great guides

For anyone checking out this video recently, I just went through this and I really struggled to use the consistent strategy for the revive flood. In fact, on PC, I was consistently NOT getting the revive flood haha I don't know if it was because of my keybinds or something else. So what I did was just restarted the level and skipped the cutscene and just hoped its a revive. I got it maybe 40% of the time. You can also restart if the grunt is orange as well. As for the bump.... this is important especially on PC. Your resolution and FOV can change the position you need to be in for the flood kill. I had to stand more left of the mark shown in this video. So test it out and see where the flood lands and adjust. One final note, sometimes you can get the bump but you aren't quite in the right spot. You CAN jump over the boxes with the fire in some cases. GOOD LUCK. HOPE THIS HELPED!

In the room with the proto gravemind break off all the limbs of the flood. If they resurrect, or survive all they will do is awkwardly stare at you during the cutscene.
Playing this level legit is a pain in the ass
I tried it the long way, it was awful. The section when you fall off the ship and then later there's this long corridor where carriers drop down, that was really awful. Also the section where there's a bunch of elites inside the ship hanger on a turret and they keep spawning, that was brutal. I had to bring the sniper rifle up with me and then use infinite ammo glitch to slowly take them all down. The covenant fights were much worse than the flood fights for me.
on PC MM the way you did it didnt work for me multiple attempts, i just used the old graphics, skipped the cutscene, didnt really hold any buttons. Then i pulled the flood to the mentioned spot and also shot it in the old graphics and it revived consistently. Amazing guide ty.

For me (Xbox), a more consistent flood bump required me to (after luring the flood):
1. Walk into the corner that's on fire
2. Crouch jump over the flood because you won't be able to jump otherwise
3. Crouch and line up at the 2nd vertical line from the panel division in OG graphics, no need for switching to Anniversary at all.
4. Shoot the flood
5. Crouch over the tentacle face part of the flood WITHOUT continuing to walk into the wall, as that can mess up your alignment if you don't walk perfectly into it
It bumps me through the wall 7/10 times instead of the ceiling and I just have to jump over the crates afterwards.

@@xXJLNINJAXx The texture on the walls in the OG graphics has vertical lines along the walls. Towards the top and bottom of these walls, the lines angle towards the left (in the case of the one used for the bump) before going vertical again.
What I meant by "panel division" is that the geometry and texture of the hallway is repeated, like a series of panels.
So, crouching lets you see the lower part of these lines and the 2nd from the start of the texture from your left if you're looking at the wall is the line you need to line up with. You're lining up your reticle.
The point of this is it gets the flood in the correct spot so it falls over properly to bump you through the burning wall when it gets back up.
Quick and easy done and done. For whatever reason, getting a consistent reviver flood for me required me to be on anniversary graphics, hold up on the joystick, press A then Y until the cutscene skipped, then use a full clip of AR when distracting the flood (no more, no less and let the automatic reload happen, no manual reload). 9/46
For anyone not being able to do this, after too many tries I tried a new method, all you do is make sure the reviver is farther from the wall, you will have to test how much but instead of you touching the wall as you bring him to that hexagon be a little farther so that he is maybe a magnum pistol lenght away or a little more from the wall, this will allow you to shot him in the shoulder but for his body to fall closer to the wall infrot of you so that you can walk towards the wall while being ontop of his head. try it out just shot him down farther away from the wall so his head is closer to the wall. that is the only way i could get it to work. Hope it helps.
For console you say to hold d-pad up at the beginning. Do you mean the left stick? D-pad up is my flashlight. EDIT - You can change your control scheme to “default” for the start of the mission and then switch back once the flood spawns in. I was able to do it 5 out of 5 tries in a row with just the left thumb stick though. Nailed flood bump on my 4th try and BAM! Done in 6 minutes. Thank you
Oh lord, forgot about people using different schemes on their D-Pad. I suggest switching to a layout where the D-Pad just moves you Up, Down, Left and Right again. Its important to move directly Up/Straight, which is harder to do with a joystick since you may drift a little Left or Right accidentally. The manipulation is super sensitive.
What's the up d-pad button supposed to do in your shemes ?

Just in case if someone else has this problem. If you hold up on the D-pad and the flood isn’t spawning as a reviver make sure you’re not turning on the flash light. For some reason mine was linked to my light natural so make sure the d pad isn’t linked to the flash light if it is turn it off. Worked for me after
So I killed all the flood before the Keyes cutscene, I know this for a fact and my reticle confirmed it. Imagine my horror when, as soon as I start the cutscene, I hear a door open, and a single combat form runs into the room in the background. I manage to revert to a previous checkpoint, kill _all of them, again, 100% verified by crosshair._ Start the cutscene, door opens, now there are three of them. WTF.
So I did some troubleshooting. Silver mentioned that your crosshair can lie to you about the carrier forms being alive. Well, I discovered the crosshair can lie about combat forms too. What was happening is that the "dead" combat forms weren't actually dead, and I was hearing the door open because the t-posing ones in the room that were still alive ran past it. Take as much time as you need shuffling around the room, just make sure all flood are lying down dead if you want 100% certainty that you won't get attacked in the cutscene.
I think it’s because some of the flood in the room can be revivers too, and when you kill a frozen reviver, they don’t come back to life until the cutscene loads
I almost died from the fire at my first successful attempt after 40 minutes lmao the sweat was real. Thanks again for the new tips, cant wait for halo 2 news. Cheers
Excellent video as always! Only one tiny thing to add, if you crouch right before you hit the ground on that last drop you'll avoid any fall damage.

Just used this! Was the only way I could have done it because a checkpoint fucked me and I had low health after already using the healthpack, i thought i was gonna have to restart but I was like no im WAY too close to the end!

FYI for the revival bump you need to be pressing toward the wall that is in front of him not the wall behind him. He goes in a weird direction in the video. Go forward toward the fallen "wall?", not backwards toward the fixed hallway wall. BUT Silver, thank you so much. Without your help this would have been literally impossible. You are the guide to guide all guides.
I keep getting a checkpoint right after the flood dies and he doesn't get back up. Anyone else getting same thing?
Just did it. This is what worked for me
- Classic graphics.
-Press dpad to move forward.
-Skip cutscene
Got reviver to spawn quite often.
If you get a checkpoint after killing the flood it means it won't revive since game sees there's no enemies near you. If you don't then you know he still alive.
Note: Most of the controller schemes (non-modern ones) have Dpad as movement, didn't know that before.

Been on this for 4 days now, I can get a reviever no problem, but he never bumps me through the wall. Hes been through a million times though.
Look for another RUclips tutorial. There are different methods and ymmv for each.
It’s Up+B for Xbox now, if you don’t hear keyes to tell you to leave BEFORE you get to the door with the flood, you failed to get a reviver. I also skipped the cutscene and immediately pressed the up arrow key then melee. It works very consistently!

I’ve been doing this for hours and I can’t get a reviver even doing everything you said
For anyone trying this now you'll have better luck not watching the cut scene and just rolling the dice. I spent wayyy to long trying to do the holding buttons thing, did not work for me on pc. 50% of thr time it seems to be a reviver so if you consider the time it takes to do the cutscene it just makes more sense to lead the flood and find out if you got lucky.
I also had to be closer to the fire. Dont look at the smudge, but just past it and once tou kill the flood, crouch on the head, without moving. If you are having issue with the flood being pushed through the wall try take a microstep back as you are lining up on his head
After a few days of trying to do this flood bump the one night where I do not expect to get it at 12 in the morning I am getting it. LOL that definitely took so much luck
I just want to throw this in there based on the comments I was seeing. On PC, following the instructions at the beginning, right before the scene where master chief spawns in, I followed the button inputs exactly. I got a consistent resurrecting flood spawn literally every single time I did it. It took me I think 5 tries to get over the wall. The trick does work. The only time that it didn't come in as resurrecting is the one time I didn't do it to see what happened.
Trick sucks. You just are enough lucky.
I've spended 100+ attempts with diifferent guides to do this without any result. And I am not alone.
For anyone on Xbox who misses one or two of the flood and get attacked by them during the cutscene, if you open the Xbox menu it'll open the pause screen in the game and you can quit out before you're killed
For xbox players struggling, here's what worked for me. I saw this on a separate video to help with the reviver.
1. Make sure you have classic graphics on.
2. Hold forward down with your joystick and make sure you're walking straight! Don't move your thumb at all.
3. (Do this all while your still walking forward), Pause, restart mission, manually trigger the cut scene and as soon as you spawn in, melee as fast as possible TWICE!
4. Once you get to the door that opens up, you can relax your thumb that's moving you forward.
5. You should now have a reviver.

I thought i had it but actually i clipped through the floor. Funny stuff
a good recommendation to anyone who is doing this, when killing the flood I'd recommend shooting off their head, and arms. That way if by any chance one of them happens to come back as a reviver, they'll be harmless since they have no way to attack you. I learned this on the 4th try.
I'm confused; this isn't working for me! I do the exact same thing it's just that he never revives! 🙁
EDIT: So despite me being on Xbox, I had to use the PC version of the technique to get this to work. The glitch worked just fine doing it this way!
I still can't receive it. After 100+ attempts I have only two clip moves. Into abyss.
Freaking shield jump was more successfull that this crap.
After a bit of experimentation, I think that the skulls you select at mission start will change the RNG of reviving flood.
Playing on PC, with all LASO skulls enabled, I can get the revival consistently every time by using the melee+forward input after Chief teleports into the ship, as described in the video.
If you're playing with a different selection of skulls as compared to the Halo CE LASO playlist found in-game, the RNG manipulation will not work for you.
Yep, found this out the hard way. Managed to get it to work occasionally on co-op, but when I tried it again on solo LASO to practice, he now doesn't revive AT ALL. Either my RNG is slanted against me, or it doesn't work whatsoever.
For PC players, it appears since the latest update that instantly skipping the cutscene and jumping as well as holding forward provides the best results, at least for me. Best of luck!!

@@Dylan-gl2ns this is literally the flood bump though. He just spends a lot of time over explaining and going over things to better understand how to pull it off. You can toss grenades at the frozen enemies to speed shit up and you absolutely don't need to use the infinite ammo trick, but ignoring the video length this is the fastest way to finish this on LASO
I've been doing this longer than it took me to get through Truth and Reconciliation and I haven't even gotten a reviver one single time.....
Yeah, I couldn't get the reviver to spawn with any regularity using the strats outlined in the video. I even switched to the default controller setting (from Bumper Jumper), and couldn't get a consistent reviver. When I did, I couldn't quite land the bump, either. So, I frickin' did Keyes WITHOUT the bump. It's...hard, but not impossible. Requires good RNG (i.e., patience) in some spots, but if you know the level well, it can be done.
Do the shield bump? Always had success with it
@@themegallama1 Crazy as it sounds, I had more fun running Keyes fully on LASO than re-learning how to line up that bump.
@@jpiii8887 Hey, I read about grunt explosions instakilling you when re-enter the ship with the grav lift. Is that an RNG thing or is there a strat to deal with it (other than restarting, lol)?
@@pat777b Hmm, there's a few spots where dev-placed Grunt bodies will explode once you've loaded them in. I don't recall any obstacles like that which couldn't be solved by trial and error. Once you knew it would happen, you just don't stand near that door or whatever until you hear it explode. Save and Quit workaround is really helpful for that kinda thing. As far as the grav lift section, I don't think that happens at all upon immediately entering the ship, iirc.
If the combat forms in the Keys room aren't going down after you kill them, it's because they're revival forms and will kill you during the Keys cutscene. To avoid this you can grab a shotgun or whatever weapon and shoot off their arms before triggering the cutscene. This will render them harmless while you are defenseless.

For anyone struggling since the latest update. On xbox series X, if you skip the cutscene as soon as it lets you then jump and melee down the hallway I was able to get it to consistently spawn a reviver!
Alright, so the up D-Pad thing didn't work for me. What I found was that it actually made it never be a reviver. Instead i would just start the mission in classic graphics and skip the cutscene while hold up D-Pad and nothing else until I ran into the grunt and flood combat form. What I noticed was if it dies within 30 AR bullets its a reviver, if you get the check point when it dies its dead. When I got a reviver and failed the bump the next attempt and sometimes after once more it was a reviver. Then the next 4-6 attempts it wasn't a reviver. Then the pattern fallowed. I got it after an hour of trying, couldn't get the combat form to line up right but it worked after a while. I don't know if that's what anyone else is getting but to speeds things up if it doesn't die quickly within 30 bullets, just reset. That's what I began to do.
Still amazing guide, got me through Halo 3, 4 and Reach Laso. Just 1 more mission bois and thatll be 4 of the 6 Halo's.
I can confirm that as of Dec 2023 this trick still works on Xbox Console MCC.
For anyone trying this on PC MCC, here's what consistently worked for me.
1. Use Anniversary graphics and try Silver's method. Save and Exit before killing the flood.
2. Continue the level from the menu, as you normally would. As the screen starts fading from the load screen to the game, hold W + melee button. Let go of melee button once you've hit the air.
3. Shoot the flood to get its attention but don't kill it and bait it back to the spawn.
This flood would only revive once in my attempts. Hopefully this helps people.
If you are having trouble with the flood bump I have created a way to line up the combat form.
Note: all of this is done with anniversary graphics.
Step 1. Once you have the combat form following you keep walking towards the wall. You will notice the wall indents multiple times for either a door or a window where you see Keys. After you pass the last indent in the wall you should hug the wall because if you are too far away from the wall the combat form will also be out of place as he needs to be in a specific spot. Keep hugging the wall and walking towards the goo/flood blood until you can aim your cursor at the last hexagon before the goo.
Step 2. From this point you can jump over the combat form but ensure you don't jump too far as you will make him walk away from the wall which is bad.
Step 3. once you are on the side away from the fire (so that the combat form is closer to the fire) you will look to his feet. 2:47 of the video is a great point to look where you should have his feet. Notice how there are a group of cells or rectangles that come in pairs of 2 and span 3 pairs across in the shape of a bigger rectangle. At 2:39 in the video you will notice there is a completely untouched group of cells before that beam on the wall. You can use that as your reference for what group of cells the combat form needs to be on. Again notice how that first group is untouched so you can line him up on the next group.
Step 4. Make sure the combat form has his right foot ( left from your point of view) on the outside of those cells but still touching them 2:47 can be your reference. It doesn't have to be perfect but try to line it up like that. If you notice the combat forms foot is not in the correct position this is where you can walk and push him so he can go further back OR you can step back and let the combat form walk towards you if it is too far back. Be careful when moving as you only want to move in a direction that is parallel to the wall because if he goes away from the wall it becomes harder to push the combat form back.
Step 5. Once you feel the combat form is in the right spot using his right food (left side from your point of view) you can proceed to shoot him in the upper corner as the video describes. Once the combat form drops immediately try to place your character in the middle of the corpse and keep walking forward but be careful not to walk side to side because once the "bump" occurs you may be sent backwards and out of the map.
Step 6. Hopefully at this point you are outside of the map and on that upper ledge where you can pass the debris and hop back into the map.

Tried this so many times. I don’t know how you do it
Just in case your not able to get this to work I got this to work for me. You can be on any graphics as long and skip the first video, run to the end of the hall way with the flood form. Get his attention but make sure he cases you not the grunt. Then line up the spot at the spawn point you start at, and you should be ready. One way to make sure you get a re-spawning flood form is if it goes down in one AR clip, if you need more it won’t re-spawn for this trick.
I actually have a lot of problems with the flood bump .
First the game didn't give me a revival always.
Second I actually got propulsed to outer space twice.
So I just got lucky after 30 min or so.
And prayed to Halo God RNG

Gave up on Xbox, it was never a respawner, turned to PC and got a respawner in the first attempt.
Even got a checkpoint to boot, because I ran ahead of it, so I could reload a checkpoint with a guaranteed respawner 👌🏻
You can confirm that its a reviver when the color of the grunt's suit is red

The PC method to get the reviver works on console. If you don’t make the bump then save and quit instead of restarting to guarantee the reviver again next time.
I'm doing the pc method and I seem to get a non reviver like 90% of the time
found a helpful hint: you can save/quit and still hold the same buttons you need as you resume the mission to get your reviver flood instead of restarting and watching the cutscene again every time.
Do you know if this has been patched out in the latest update? Trying on PC and still haven't been able to get a reviver for over an hour now. Cheers
It has not been patched out. I just did this on PC and it worked on my first try. I guess just make sure you're following Silver's instructions properly.
@@kylebybee5909 Cheers, I got it in the end by just restarting over and over but the method didn't work for me to force a reviver. Probably was an instruction I was missing!
In case you're not doing the cutscene glitch, the flood buddy has a 25% chance iirc to be a reviver, if you happen to have a checkpoint loaded and that flood is not a reviver, it will stay that way. The first checkpoint load zone is when you move behind the door, at that moment the flood and grunt spawn. If for some reason you get a checkpoint there because you're standing still, the flood will always keep its reviver or not status from that point on.

For anyone having trouble getting getting this to work on xbox, the method shown in this video does NOT work anymore. But you can still ensure a rsepawner buy doing the pc method on console. So switch your button layout to default (NOT universal default, just default), and do exactly what he does for the PC version (hold up on d pad and right bumper), and you’ll ensure a reviver! Hope this helps! (Works as of October 5th, 2020)

Does anyone know if this trick still works on xbox? I never seem to be able to manipulate the flood spawn, and he never seems to revive. Tried the up on d pad trick many times and also not using it and nothing seems to work
Some tips on PC if you are struggling with the flood bump:
- limit framerate to 60hz and turn on vsync or the reviver trick doesnt seem to work
- walking forward holding melee on classic graphics worked for me - can be done with controller or keyboard
- press against the diagonal wall when crouching on the flood form but dont keep pushing forward against the wall
- look at the guide by splee5556 if you cant get the flood bump
LASO on PC:
-worked with holding forward only
-tried multiple times with forward+melee wouldn't work for me
I have a Xbox controller plugged in maybe that makes a difference.

Somehow got reviver without the exploit on the first run and successful bump, was very refreshing after 1:31:XX two betrayals to get a 0:5:37

ik this is super later but perhaps will help some1. I found that on pc (remastered graphics) if you save quit during cutscene then resume if you follow the same strat (hold forward and melee let go after 1 melee) the flood is also always a reviver!
I literally couldn’t do the floor bump so I had to do the mission normally, thankfully I did it. Off to the maw and there is halo CE Laso complete
Am I missing something? Halo CE on PC doesn't give you the option to start in the game in original or anniversary graphics. It will give you that option if you're quick starting a normal session however, for the LASO playlist, the only options you can change before booting up the level are the "Scoring and Time HUD" and the "Enable Campaign Customization" options. Not sure what to do here besides brute force it without a reliable flood reviver
To be more accurate, at the start the difference between Xbox and PC is actually the difference between controller and keyboard. If you're on PC and are using a controller, hold forward on the left thumbstick like you would on Xbox (I can't figure out how to move with the dpad on any controller setup).

For anyone who cant get the reviver try different graphics and different button combos, for me on xbox it was anniversary with forward and melee 👌

You have to be solo for the reviver.
Kenshiro(XIII) is that true? That you can only have the reviver if you are solo? Because I’m doing it co-op right now and I think I can probably get it consistently.
@@rcweasel4663 When I tried this 3 weeks ago with my friend it was rng if it was a reviver or not, not to forget there is a chance that having a second player might cause the enemies to activate.
But in solo the glitch works 100% of the time for the reviver.
you do NOT need to be solo for the reviver, tried it today with a friend, both pc, new graphics and doing what is said in the video, worked like a charm. also you can die in the cutscene if you have two people

it is RNG but this trick is manipulating the RNG to boost the odds in our favor :D
Worked on PC by holding the combo but skipping cutscene, ended up getting a checkpoint on the way to lead the reviver to the bump spot so if I messed up I could save and quit out. Got it third time.
Hey! Was wondering what's your pick for the hardest LASO campaign given that you have the max amount of players attempting it? (2p for H1,2. 4p for the rest). taking into consideration particular skips that make hard missions easier ect, given that you have more than 1 person or vice versa (4p making new skips possible)
I'm not really sure, I havent done much co-op LASO.
It's absolutely Halo 2. It's only 2 player coop and it's just straight up unfair bullshit difficulty-wise.
To get the reviver majority of the time on Xbox I had the graphics on anniversary mode and I skip the cutscene immediately and then I walked for about 2 seconds and then I jumped 3 times while still walking forward, and as soon as the flood spawns in I distract it and preform the bump glitch, this isn’t consistent but the RNG is reduced to about 50%, I found that crouching against the wall while on top of the flood was better.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Most of the time I just slide off the flood body. Once I got teleported outside the ship and once I got a good bump I think, but I fell right to the starting level again.
At least with the tip in the video I can get a consistent reviver to practise.
It took me some time to do it, loke 2 hours.
I found out my issue. I was standing too much left on the flood corpse. Once I stood a bit more to the right it worked perfectly.
@@DJSMedicate I think that was my issue as well either the flood was going through the wall or i was hitting my head on something.
kept loosing my mind cus i finally did the glitch and then found that some flood kept spawning and attacking me during the cut scene, found out it happens if you kill the grunts while standing in the room with keyes.. had to do the dang glitch again after starting all over again.
PC PEOPLE:
If you are struggling with the Revive Flood just skip the cutscene. Its about a 50/50 chance to get him randomly and you don't have to listen to Cortana for 3 fucking minutes X however many times you fail lol.
I’m not attempting LASO but doing a regular Legendary run for the first time and all I want to know is the flood bump. Though the rest of this does come in handy for spawns and such
I use an xbox controller on pc. Does it work d-pad thing work? Or do I have to switch to pc controls to do the flood bump?
I guess try both, not sure.
yay!!!! I finally completed this bitch, hate that flood bump, idk what the shield bump was, but holy fuck, the flood bump took 50 tries across 3 or so days. now am on the maw.
Omg I finally did it. I watch cutscenes in classic wait 2-3 seconds skip holding UP then I melee the flood down around 11-12 hits laso.

Xbox Players:
Based of of persanal experience I started the cutscene in classic graphics then I skipped it after half a second played. If you listen carefully after you spawn you can hear an explosion, I recommend putting your controls on default and using the D-pad to move forward and touch nothing else. When the flood form appears then you can look to shoot him, as for the bump itself I tried to stay more on the right top side of the flood but not sure if it's really consistent.

Having trouble getting it a reviver flood pressing the d-pad up when I need to it’s never a reviver flood tried pressing it same thing anyone else struggling with it having same issue or has it been patched?

So after messing around with different methods I found that the newer graphics worked better when chief teleports in I started to click up on the D-pad and doing that I ended up getting the reviver flood I followed the same steps after I lured him to the corner spot.

For some reason I got the reviver flood 100% of the time whether I skipped the cutscene or not!
On xbox series x: I had issues getting the reviver but this seemed to work just now about three times in a row. Anniversary gfx. Hold up on cutscene and skip the cutscene. Got reviver.
Is there a reason why there is always at least one combat form fucking me up during the cutscene? I kill every single one that's just standing there and even the ones that spawn behind the locked doors farther into the room without reentering that entrance hallway.
I need to watch ahead before following the video got the flood bump second try just to hear you say dont renter the hallway we came from when grabbing a pistol from the hallway

The "ensuring it's a reviver flood" method simply isn't working at all...
If you are struggling on xbox do the pc method, worked first time for me after 100 tries on the xbox version
