Skulls - Skulls will automatically be selected when you select the Halo: CE LASO playlist. They are as follows: Black Eye, Boom, Eye Patch, Famine, Fog, Foreign, Grunt Birthday Party, Grunt Funeral, Iron, Malfunction, Mythic, and Recession.

Thank you so, so much for this guide! I didn't stand a chance without it! There's one thing I have to praise that's going to sound weird, but hear me out; Thank you for having mistakes and terrible RNG in your runs. I know, I know. But like 90% of the guides you watch online are players going like, "ok now at this point you're going to need to 360 no scope through this wall at the exact milisecond... really easy. In your videos however, you get hurt, things you tried to avoid explode and enemies that aren't supposed to rush, rush. This is the exact crap I dealt with during my 30+ hour run and seeing the expert face the same problems and offer suggestions rather than just upload an absolute perfect run is super helpful. So thank you!
I agree, it allowed me more room for error on my own run. It was very well put together.

After 18+ years of playing halo, I can officially say I beat the LASO campaign on Halo ce.

There is one way to stop flood spawn, I left one alive in one wave without arm and he was chasing all the time without danger and no more spawned, and thanks for the guide.
I actually found this out the other day doing this mission, if you grab the rocket launcher and use the infinite ammo glitch and shoot the bottom of the cores you need to destroy three times with the rockets it'll actually destroy them without having to go up and activate the buttons it's a much safer method seeing as you can grab the health and have much more cover if you need it

yep you can stay at the first door and despawn everything aswell.
Confirming that this works. Note that you don't want to shoot the bottom of the cores themselves, but rather the bottom of the very end of the retractable pistons. I just juggled an assault rifle from the armory and hide behind cover. Makes this a lot easier!

My friend and I just finished this LASO campaign, and Halo 2 not too long ago, thanks to these guides. Halo Completionists never die, they're just missing in action.
Silver just wanted to remind you that you are the GOAT. a buddy and I just beat this playlist today. I've been watching your guides and trying to replicate them for the last month. With the exception of a few oddities caused by coop, your guides are perfect to follow to this day! Gonna take a fat break from halo before moving on to halo 2. Hope you are doing great man because you did everyone a huge favor posting these.
I can not for the life of me get the infinite ammo glitch to work with the shotgun, but I was still able to fight my way through thanks to all your help. Definitely looking forward to Halo 2 when that comes out on PC. and Thanks again for all the hard work! :)

Yeah I fail it every now and again, you just gotta switch immediately before Chiefs hands puts in the first shell. I think it's the least forgiving gun in the game when it comes to this trick, sometimes I think with a rocket launcher I wait like a second and it still works lol. Makes sense since it takes longer for it to load though

I had almost given up on the LASO run at mission 3. It took my friend & I 6.5 hours to complete. I was so frustrated that I looked up a guide & found Silver. These videos helped so much! It feels so good to complete everything Halo CE has to offer after all these years! Now to do it six more times since I am into masochism apparently
Thank you ever so much for these guides. My co-op partner and I had a blast completing these missions, and only had a few particular spots that took us a bit longer than we'd have liked. We managed the whole campaign in under 15 hours, which without your guides would have been a lot longer! CE LASO is already a fond memory in my gaming career. On to the rest!

I finished ce laso a few days ago now and the daunting task of halo 2 laso has kept me from really appreciating the fact ive beat reach and ce so far on my own, definitely thanks to these guides though, definitely couldn't have beat either without the help

I’d like to add a trick that I did to make this run easier.
When you are in the engine room shooting into the flaps of the cells. After destroying the first one, take a brief moment to shotty a flood holding an AR and juggle it into the despawn room and utilize that there to use the infinite ammo glitch for your rockets to help you take out the other 3 cells. This avoids you having to fall back to the armoury entirely.

can't thank you enough Silver, the only LASO's i ever did were halo 3 and ODST back on 360 and they were both co-op with a buddy, now i'm playing through all the halo games again on PC 10 years later and aiming to get all achievements it's a lot more challenging solo, but with your guiding light it's possible, it's like half co-op, you're like the force ghost walking us through it. Thanks again!
Thank you for these awesome guides, another LASO run completed! If I look back now, I am so happy that the only time the iron skull ruined my day was on T&R before I even reached the lift. Every time I died a little too long I was so worried having to do everything again, definitely on longer levels such as Two Betrayals. Again, like I mentioned there, I wonder why you didn't highlight the banshee through the door, but other than that, simply awesome guide! It wouldn't be a Maw run for me without dying on the final tunnel (22:43, the explosions always get me if I go too fast so second time I just waited for the explosions to pop). And, with LASO being so clutch already, I finished with 10 seconds left on the timer :x I'm glad this is over. Never again xD

The last level before laso master pops. It going to be kind of bitter sweet honestly. Ive been doing laso for the last year with a friend and i just want to thank you silver. I officially completed the Halo CE LASO playlist tonight. Thanks for the great videos to complete the beast. The Truth and Reconciliation wins MVP for Hardest mission in the campaign on LASO, and maybe the hardest mission yet, however I haven’t started Halo 2 yet so that is the one I have been saving for last!

This was hell but I'm astounded that I actually made it! I didn't think I could do it but doing all the glitches and succeeding with every one of them really helped. I was shocked to actually pull this off.
The whole campaign took me arround 24 hours to complete on LASO divided in 6 days so about 4,5 hours every day.
Hardest levels for me was Two Betrayals , and The Library.
I felt the pain of the iron skull at the last checkpoint because i lost my small window time-line to save and quit. 😭

Awesome guides! For some reason I couldn't do the shotgun infinite ammo glitch, every time I dropped it it would warp away to nowhere. I can confirm that shooting the fusion cores from the first floor works!
Yeah the weapons warp to different places in this mission sometimes, especially in the beginning. Also the shotty is tough to get the infinite ammo working, it has a much smaller window than all the other weapons. I only get it like half of my attempts.
@@HaloCompletionist Yeah, I figured out how to do it pretty consistently, just that it kept disappearing... On PC it's hold E + R then tap R again very quickly (default controls for pick up weapon and reload, respectively)

After 3 years of on and off playing this LASO campaign, I finished it tonight. I fudged so much on the Warthog run and came down to the wire with 5 seconds left. Incredibly stressful but also even more satisfying that way to be honest lol

Just beat this level!
I honestly thought CE was going to be one of the harder LASO campaigns, due to the Foreign Skull and not being able to use Covenant weapons (also I believe CE is the only Halo LASO campaign with Recession, so ammo becomes far more of a problem, especially in combination with Famine). The only level for me that was any real problem was Truth and Reconciliation (The Library is largely about patience and practicing the infinite ammo glitch, Two Betrayals IMO was more long than hard).
I saved one of the Plasma Grenades for that group of six Sentinels you encounter before the Cryo Chamber (next to that partially open door you have to crouch under), the Sentinels are pretty weak to Plasma weapons and moreso Plasma explosions, so just lay one in the middle of the floor and you'll drop all six. Thanks to the Foreign Skull there's no real easy way to take out Sentinels on LASO. Since you can replenish Frag Grenades throughout the level, I cleared out the wave of enemies that spawn in through the door in the cafeteria with Frag Grenades, just to conserve the Plasma Grenades.
I will be honest, it was kinda fun blowing up Grunts and being able to use their explosions from Grunt Funeral and the increased radius from Boom to your advantage.

Just finished this playlist and completed yet another halo game! Forgot to crouch in the elevator. The explosions take away 2 bars of health without any shield, for people that aren't quite sure if they need a healthpack or not. Luckily there are 2 healthpacks next to the warthogs. I didn't know about that sentinel despawn, that was really a life saver waiting for the shafts to open. Thanks man!
Most missions in the halo LASO playlist are somewhat "okay" to do, but if it wasn't for these videos, i would still be struggling with T&R, Library and 2B. Those are basically the real challenge. Cheers once again Silver! And I can't wait to check out your halo 2 videos when it releases this month.

Because sometimes I follow you progress pretty closely only for you to say something like "you can also try to avoid these guys".
But otherwise there is nothing I could say to help you improve these videos, they are great :)
Ikr? Though most of the time, his guides are amazing and works great, but sometimes later in the mission he’ll say something like “ luckily I had some grenades left” or “fortunately I had this weapon”. Then I’m like “I followed your every step one by one and now I don’t have any grenades or the weapon I’m supposed to have. And I’m in the middle of the mission. Should I restart”? Lol….

just completed this thx, let me say a few tips
before the cafetaria, grab the health pack and grenades then crouch next to the door the hunter breaks, this skips a triggger which forces another wave of covies into the cafetaria, allowing you to run past them all while the current squad in there deals with the flood (hitting the trigger in the floor doesn't spawn them as long as you bump out the map with the hunter and the door)
the corridor above the cryobay be skipped with this^
on that note, you can easily run through the corridor above the cryobay with just meleeing the flood, regardless of the carriers
engine room note, best not to frag jump, that overshield goes a long way to destroying the reactors, shooting a rocket towards the front of each tube normally should destroy said engine, as destruction point is closer to the front
going up the left side is always safer than the right side in the engine room
anyway great run, i do hope some of my tips here help anyone struggling
