Size of a minibus ☑ Low thermal signature ☑ Looks like a small plane ☑ "Manned aircraft being operated legally" ☑ DOD partnership ☑ Archer and Joby are both strong contenders.
My guess is that they would like to tell the public, but it's classified. That's why they responded "No Comment" when asked about it. And why they're doing this interview in which he seems to be dropping hints.
If this is actually the source of all these sightings then people should seriously consider boycotting this company for causing all this disturbance… for what? So they can make money? They have disrupted many people’s lives and wasted lots of resources for local law enforcement and government. Disgusting
Sure it could be but how about the drone sightings around the world? If it is Archer I think citizens should boycott them due to all this commotion from not acknowledging it is them flying drones.
The sightings we are seeing are below the legal limit of 450m. This item is likely categorized as a - VTOL Plane. and is required to flight above that altitude, as below 420m is regulated for drone usage.
@andybrice2711 I doubt they apply if it's a project that involves an alien race that's using black holes to get them here as well. But better to stay focused on what is more likely to be the simple and correct answer.
@@andybrice2711 They actually do. Contrary to what ya might think the government cant simply fly an AC-130 at 200 feet just cause they want to. A Flight plan must be filed and approved to avoid accidents with small aircraft and drones. Not to mention all the drones we are seeing the government cant do anything with anyways. These have all been DJI Mavic's, Phantoms, and T3;s and they are banned from being used in any form of contracted government work. they can only be used for civilian consumer use or business use, business that do not contract with the government. Simply put, that's the Law.,
In regard to regulations they might b able to get approval for cargo flights over low population areas sooner than full up approvals for manned flights over highly populated areas.
I'm excited about Archer's hybrid electric air taxis launching in UAE and soon in US cities like LA and NY. The future of transportation is looking bright!
as it gets more and more common to lose your home these days , I'm glad the millionaires won't have the inconvenience of gridlock anymore. Oh! what a grand society we will have
This is great and I would like to see it happen but if feels like we will do anything but build trains in the U.S. Just build better trains high speed etc.......
There’s no magic military use case either. The USAF had a really good UAV with a 100hp engine. Within a few years they decided they only wanted turbine powered drones with much greater capability. That Archer will likely be much more expensive than a little bird helicopter with less payload capacity and range. Most all these companies will go broke, and maybe a couple designs might survive. They will be toys for the wealthy with some being used for avoiding traffic. The big value proposition is really wrapped up in it being autonomous, but we can now make any helicopter autonomous. The military will stick to turbines.
"Mature'? They haven't flown a single passenger or sold one aircraft ... all the test flights are barely manouvering at all and low speeds, lethargic lift off and landing, Goldstein is a money handler not an engineer or designer etc ,irritating voice and cocky spiel using hollow buzzwords.... hopefully the first crashing will be in the petro Arab states where personal rights are somewhat less 'developed' than in America with litigation having once destroyed the small aircraft industry. Flying in 50 degree C temps will show up the marginal performance very nicely.
There is another contender in this industry, and they are far ahead of Archer in design and certification. If you want to understand Archer's rush to market plan, research Excelsior-Henderson Motorcycles, from 1996 to 1999. Archer's doesn't have a cockpit version of their Midnight eVTOL, that allows for a human pilot, so it cannot go forward in testing for FAA certification until they build the actual testable aircraft. The current Midnight is remote control flown only. Goldstein says they aren't going to build anymore prototypes, but are going straight into production at a new $65M factory, to produce hundreds of these a month. Yep, just like Excelsior-Henderson Motorcycle did. Stellantis, as a deep pocket backer for Archer, has money problems of its own right now, and the CEO recently abandoned Stellantis by resigning, over a disagreement with the BoD on how the corporation would go forward. A new CEO and a new pledge of continued support is yet to be announced.

Are you guys buzzing around New Jersey lately at night?
I am sure those are drones of companies building new drones for the military - thats why they fly at night.
Maybe...or is it just a coincidence? They're for defence which would explain why they haven't informed too many people..🤔
@ thanks. That was my point
I heard there was a law you cannot fly these types of aircraft unless it’s +30min after dusk . Some FAA regulation ? Idk
They have stated "NO COMMENT"
Low noise and low thermal signal mmm , this fits the bill perfectly
Drones from Archer are in line with the sightings. Like a Small Car etc etc
Why is DOD saying they don’t know what it is? Why are airports being shutdown due to airspace being compromised.
When asked about the drone sitings in another interview this guy dodged completely and basically said “get ready to see more of these things”
Are these the things freaking people out right now over New Jersey? I personally think so... Good to know their quietness if that's the case!
Yep some youtuber who has military contracts said hes 99% sure that's what these are 😂 the military of course would denie testing these just like they have with many other things in the past
Yes

NJ? 🤔

Do you think Arche is testing Electric aircrafts AKA drones in the sky of NJ and NY?

lol this might be the NJ drones
Time to buy a a share or two of Archer, because once that NJ mystery is solved - mooooooon!
It is up over 100% this month
@@mattyk1519 I'm personally up 145%. Result! More!
Pretty cool idea. I think it’s awesome! Gotta look into that stock.

Okay. I refuse to buy a VTOL aircraft from them until they apologize for the disturbance.

It's the politicians and govt officials as well as the news that has caused the panic
Archer is experiencing an impulsive upward wave now. Lets hope it will hit $20 today.

Have you been flying these over NJ lately ? 😏
U guys are over NJ for sure

they should have owned up to it by now

Nice job
Amazing airplane
Are they heat resistant and can they go under water
correction, land on a ship, yes just like any vtol
Can you take off from an Iranian ship in the east coast and fly over New Jersey?
How much TNT can you stuff in one of these?
Or how many SEALS or DELTAS😉

Electric planes have no business case. Too small the audience and no revenue. They need support from military.

Code word.... the FAA won't let them operate.
Archer isn't capable of scaling up commercially. It's an octopus of rotary blades. This is patently incompetent stock manipulation.
