What are the medications that you mention? Amphetamines? Semaglutide?
GLP-1 agonists are what we're referencing here.
To lose weight at 1 lb/week I have to drop to around 1400 calories for 200 lb 5'10" male. This leaves me quite hungry and cold at night. This is with walking 2 miles a day and lifting two times per week.
That seems insanely low. I'm losing 2lbs a week with 1900 calories at 5'11” 205
@@Cambone13 It is insanely low and it really frustrates me. Hard to get the protein in at such low calories. I am 65 and it just seems that my metabolic rate has steadily declined over the years. When I was 16, I ran track and cross-country and could eat as much as 4000 calories and not gain weight.
Yeahhh … increase your activity and eat more. Way less miserable
@@moorejl57 ah yes, age will do it.
For the algorithm

i was losing 1kg/week while doing intermittent fasting (it varied from 18~20 hours of fasting) and running around 35km/week. I was eating 2 medium sized meals a day. My weight went from 85 to 75 for the first time, then my weight went up a bit to 79kgs and I did the same routine again. On this 2nd time my weight went from 79 to 71kg. I think that my ideal weight is around 71~73kg so I'm trying to get some weight (muscles) and I'll probably do my routine again some time soon. If you're doing IF, then there's no way your hunger will increase. It'll actually decrease to the point where you forget to eat.
enjoy the last few years of that hairline Jordan. We look forward to welcoming you to the Bald Club soon :)
