What's funny is that there's no objective criteria for what makes something "biohacking." Like how is eating protein and lifting weights not classified as "biohacking?"
Bc you die without eating protein and lifting heavy shit is like the most ancient thing ever
Biohacking is stuff thats based on some mechanistic understanding of physiological functions
Or living in a house and sleeping on a bed
"Hacking" in this context is closer to the original meaning of the word in a programming context: Quick solutions that aren't necessarily the best solutions
And of course it's not objective (in the way that you probably mean the word). Most things aren't
This is validating. Thank you!
"Just care less"
Way to put a nice bow on it. 🤣
I so appreciate you all uploading these segments from the seminars. Hope more views come, and more people take these recommendations to heart.
Thanks, will now be using the term 'urogenital triangle' nonstop
I consider proper weight training to be the ultimate biohack.
if you really want to induce an adaptive response, try adding weight to the bar in a progressive manner *biohack*

With experts in bio hacking like Tony Huge what could go wrong 😂
I mean it says Huge right there, he must know what he's talking about and isn't totally talking out of his butt!
"yeah i tape my mouth every night it works great.
also I sleep for 4 hours, don't train, never walk anywhere and eat fast food every day. but mouth taping is the next big thing bro i swear try it"
No Andrew Hubermann was harmed in this video
He 100% was
you can't hurt a legit Guru
@@wizzelhoart Ironic bc guru is exactly what he is - all based on myth and not on science
@@Cin9999 But he provides all the evidence, doesnt he?
@@1729krish No lol
Just showing „something“ doesnt mean its actual sufficient evidence for what you claim.
Like everything people are looking for short cuts instead of doing the hard yards.
For the algorithm
🖤
Damn, Jordan even gave the nuance on mouthtaping too. Five stars.
Yes, that is a small problem. But I love mouth taping, being a default mouth breather. I stopped waking up every few hours with a super dry mouth that needed water.
Algo
millions of years of evolution and suddenly we know how to hack the system we don't even understand fully... makes sense to me.
Surprised to hear about HGH. Well said.
I am as well...considering the regard it has in the pro bodybuilding sphere, I'd need some pretty good evidence to accept it just doesn't do anything positive at all at any level of exogenous dosage.
@@hisbassness There's no 'clinical evidence' for it on the 'general population'. As a widespread intervention on a diverse range of people and ages, no evidence. Pro bodybuilders (male+young+already receptive to gainz) wanting to take HGH are an extremely selective cohort. Also, as Austin has mentioned before, the "medical literature" considers the baseline of physically fit as being to move up and down a flight of stairs without getting winded.
It's why "medically", there's "no strength benefit" to taking steroids.
@@hisbassness I think might be better to assume something is not effective until you can find sufficient evidence supporting that it is. Assuming something is effective until you find sufficient evidence that it is not is a dangerous path.
Except it takes minutes to find evidence that growth hormone can lead to increased lean mass and decreased fat mass in various populations.
Low-dose growth hormone treatment with diet restriction accelerates body fat loss, exerts anabolic effect and improves growth hormone secretory dysfunction in obese adults
K R Kim et al. Horm Res. 1999.
Never heard about mouth taping for training/physical health purposes but my dentist and hygienist seem to recommend mouth taping to everyone for dental health. Something about mouth breathing at night not being good for your gums. No idea if this is evidence based but I can say my morning breath isn't nearly as bad when I tape
My guess would be that has to do with 1) your gums getting dried out thus allowing more microbes to enter microscopic crevices in your gums, and 2) breathing just takes in microbes.
"Urogenital triangle" really annoys me as a phrase and this is coming from someone not exactly known for brevity
The Euro-genital triangle.....
@@RonSwansonIsMyGod Do you put those on the floor or on the ground?
@@nattyfatty413 depends if there is flooring or if your just outside on the ground
I never understand if Dr Peter Attia is part of this category or not
Well he is just part of the quack community
@@Cin9999 i don't think as he also has good relation with Layne norton
@@Cin9999 I mean, he does come across to me that way, but I have also seen him praised by some respected sources, so I don't know what to think
@@neversate He literally promotes the carnivore diet /low carb for everyone
Which Layne correctly identifies as r-worded
Amen.
Leo&Longevity was a great source for biohacking😢
