Another question that I've always wondered about and never looked into myself! Thanks Feigs for the clip.

Is the increased bone mineral density localized to the joints being used or is it systemic? Basically I’m asking if even my head and face bones becomes stronger too from squatting and deadlifting.

That’s actually a great question I’ve never considered.. especially if you consider skull fractures and such if an older person falls

a better question is why would one ever stop training to begin with? 😂

Injuries. Been on the DL for 11 months and still going.

@@ea214 injuries are a fair point, yeah. I was thinking more in line with just losing interest and not wanting to train anymore by choice, heh

I second the injuries thing, although I’m not talking about any acute injuries. Just beat up joints from 3 decades of training and working jobs that are hard on my body.
Knees ache, shoulders ache, back and neck have bad disks in them, just tired of being sore all the time.
I still exercise and I spend my days in steel toes and in and out of manufacturing facilities all day.
My job is extremely stressful because of the current global supply chain climate and manufacturing demand and I need all of my mental and physical capacity to maintain my work performance.
So I’m taking a break from hard training/lifting until I can catch my breath and have the time to properly address my nutrition and recovery.
