Correct. Some of his tips were good but this one was missed. G-Sync with v-sync fall back with Fps limit will allow your frame rate to be stable. This is because if the fps being under the max fps it will kick into G-sync to correct the smoothness of and studders that may be introduced by the V-sync and V-sync will be used as a fall back if G-sync fails. The perceived latency will be low. Also to add make sure to set v-sync from game and if you cant limit fps in the game do it from your graphics card control panel. Also to add programs like lossless scaling that you can buy on steam can allow you to even add frame gen to the mix as well as long as you have a capable card. This app will allow you to run a game in window mode then force scale it to either full screen or even pixel perfect scaling for older titles he points out to increase performance.
Great guide! Going over all the various in game settings reminded me of the time when black ops 4 somehow set its render scale to 200%, and I couldn't figure out why my frames were so low or why my pc sounded like it was about to take off. Felt pretty dumb after figuring it out 2 days later
Another tip: When it comes to all the windows bloat ware that comes pre installed. If you ever have to do a fresh install of windows or when you initially setup windows, set the language to “English-World” rather than you’re home country and it won’t install any of the bloat but it’s very easy to find the installs for individual programs if you want/need/ like them. Can save a surprising amount of storage space
Undervolting and overclocking my GPU was like a revelation for cooler temps and lower power consumption with still the same high fps with everything maxed out in games. It's actually so wild this video came out because I just bought a new PC that I have to learn how to build. So, I thank you levelcapgaming for this upload today.

Regarding microphone audio then open mic can work if you use some form of signal filling such as Nvidia broadcast. This enables me to have a fan on or some audio in the background, which will be blocked out. Basically the mic will only activate when I speak. Some motherboards also come with audio software that can achieve similar filtering for mic inputs, but in my experience Nvidia broadcast is an easy win solution. Unfortunately the issue is much harder to address for console players as there is normally no signal processing available for many headsets on PS or Xbox.
@@GamesplayChris42it obviously depends on the type of game. For example mp games I usually lock it at 6 frames below the monitors refresh rate or as close to it as possible if it has a in game cap, because the framerate I get is far above it. Like overlays, sure theoretical they can hurt performance maybe but like come on then how I’m I suppose to talk to friends or navigate easily or hop onto discord quickly between games
Also web browser tabs like seriously ??? that one fps won’t kill you now would it
Windowed full screen also like maybe I know Nvidia HDR can’t work unless full screen but I play competitive games in windows full screen maybe I won’t get that 1-2 fps but at least I can hop out quickly look at a video or something and hop back in
I’m I getting this wrong or I’m I on the right with this ?
He completly forgot how to use Process Lasso or TaskManager to set application CPU utilization to highest priority
that's generally not recommended.
above normal or high maybe but never the highest setting.
setting a non system process to the highest setting can choke off system processes, resulting in system locks or crashes
Pretty basic, but very improtant for those people far from the faming PC world
I hate rgb stuff
Step 1: buy a console and play stress free
people that think they know about pc game settings always tell you to turn motion blur off. For cinematic single player experiences me and pc experts like digital foundry disagree. motion blur esp per object motion can really enhance your experience if implemented correctly. Its a real bummer how many uneducated youtube channels spread this misinformation about motion blur.
even when done well motion blur only looks good at really high FPS.
at low FPS turning it off will help visual clarity even if there is no big change in performance
@@zerorig if you can only get 30fps in forza horizon motion blur helps the game feel much smoother. some games at low fps games benefit from motion blur too.
levelcap plays the finals?
There's no such thing as a 500hz oled monitor

All that and custom win 11 build for my gaming rig. I removed ALL bloat with an answer file during the installation - No edge, no MS store, no telemetry no poxy xbox gamebar. CTT scripts and shut up 10/11 ensure Microsoft leave my build alone.
Where did you get that?
@@mursefaneca Windows came from offical Microsoft, the unattended answer file I made at schneegans website.
@@mursefaneca Check out Memory's Tech Tips, its where I learned the method. He posted a video about a month ago.
This is why 90% of gamers play on Consoles.

Being poor is a mistake, I see.
Isn’t it always?

That pronunciation of BIOS almost made me dislike the video
I was with you until you started pronouncing it BUY-AUS...
Disagree with the gaming chair tip. Sure most are crap but that doesn't mean all of them are. Secret labs are actually a very good brand with alot of customised features to get you sitting very cumfy.
