GREAT VIDEO!!!!! The visual helped a lot. This is what I've been searching for but the other guntuber channels just don't say what the common gun owner wants or needs to hear. Its mostly what the manufacture has written on their website. Thank you again for the real world, common sense review.
Thanx SO MUCH for that visual demonstration with the pencil marks it makes such a huge difference. Anyone else that does product reviews on triggers should definitely be doing this as it’s what finally helped make up my mind to go ahead and get Overwatch Shoe Only!! 🎉 I also hate how the stock G43/48 trigger safety doesn’t go flush when depressed, so frustrating!
I love that you made marks on the trigger guard, I'm getting these triggers not so much for the feel of the trigger but mostly for the trigger reach. Great info thanks!
Great video I have a G48 too and was thinking of upgrading the trigger This video really helps make a decision and I found it very helpful! Keep the G48 videos coming 🎉
I wanted a flat faced trigger that wouldn't break the bank, I ended up going with the Poly Dat from Overwatch Precision also. I love it I have one in my G48 and G45 to keep everything the same.
On the stock glock step faced trigger, I take a small rat tail file and cut a 3" square 400 grit sandpaper or 600 grit, rap it around the file very tight and wrap a peice of tape around the bottom edge of tape and overlap file a few wraps to secure it and you can hold the back of trigger dingus holding it down and slowly file the dingus face till it flush, no protrusion. With a glock minus connector and the factory trigger dingus smoothed down, it feels 200 % better than straight stock. And all safety functions aren't changed, just inhanced.
The stock trigger is fine in my 43x, but the shoe itself sucks so I ordered the polymer shoe and oem trigger bar from Overwatch. Soon as it delivers I plan to try it out. If i like it I'll be replacing every shoe on every glock I own, which is a lot to be honest.
That's quite a bit of over travel. Lone Wolf sells a trigger housing with an over travel adjustment screw. Works great, I have them on most of my Glocks.
You’re missing out on your G34 - try the Timney Alpha Glock Competition trigger, it’s unbelievable. After feeling mine, my gunsmith ordered 5 for himself. And then every guy who works in the shop wanted one. When paired with the minus connector (standard on the G34), it’s about a two pound trigger that breaks like glass. Total competition trigger, def not for EDC.
Really great video man! Very similar to my setup. What holster are you running and what position. I’m running a Werkz M6 appendix. They were the only people making a light bearing model for the 48mos when I first got her and I still haven’t switched. Just wondering because I’m thinking of switching it up and would like some external input. Thanks for your time brother!
Appreciate the views and feedback! I carry behind the hip; I just can't do appendix. I have recently swapped out the frame for an MOS one and am running a TLR-7 Sub. I had been using a Vedder Light Tuck and really found it comfortable, so I just bought another Light Tuck for the new setup
Great video! In your experience, is the TAC trigger more comfortable than Poly DAT in terms of the face of the trigger not digging into your finger pad? Or are they the same?
I did the same trigger shoe swap and after testing it out I got a ton of light strikes. I did not have that issue before and everything else was kept stock. Any ideas as to what I did wrong?
@@regulardudegungearreviewsh3132 I just broke it down completely and reassembled it. Seems to be working fine. I guess something was slightly off the first time I put it back together. Thanks for the reply. Your content is super helpful!
@@regulardudegungearreviewsh3132 I was wondering the same, i want one for my g45. I'm not going to change out the connector or any other springs. Just the shoe.
Does the new trigger bar interfere with taking slide off and putting on? Another brand gauges the trigger bar tab and that annoys me. I may go this route.
Dropped the same trigger in my 19x.... did the polish job and changed out the striker spring, plunger spring, connector and the trigger string...... getting 3.5 consistently ruclips.net/video/4-C5EJ4PlDc/видео.html. great video. just sub'd.

The pencil marks sold me. I put one on order this morning for my G20SF. Thanks.

Excellent review and content, real world demo, thanks for sharing, ordered 3 today!
Awesome man! Thanks for the views and feedback!
Great video brother! Just ordered one for my P80.
They're an awesome choice, for sure
Great video, just ordered one for my Glock 22 gen 5.👍🏽
Right on!
I have both triggers, I prefer the Apex but the OverWatch is a fine trigger too.
Haven't tried out the Apex yet

I feel it really makes a nice improvement in the trigger feel. You'll be replacing all of them. Lol
That is my third choice in triggers tied for 1st place would be agancy and apex i love the overwatch to i have one on my 19x .

It definitely beats the travel over the OEM shoe!

Thanks for the tip, if I come across one at the right price I'll check it out 🤙🏼

Appreciate that! To me, they feel pretty much exactly the same
I took sandpaper to the trigger blade.
I have a g19 gen5. How is the side to side play in regards to how the shoe sits in the housing/tolerances?
If I'm understanding your question correctly, there is barely any movement side to side when installed in the gun.
What magazine magwell is that on your G48 ?
Empire Katana V2

Man that sucks. The only thing that I can think of is that maybe something got bent or deformed?

Still been reliable for you? Any issues?
Yep, been running strong. I have them in all of my Glocks now

What’s the difference between their trigger bar and a NP3d OEM bar ?
If I remember correctly, OP uses OEM Glock trigger bars, but the NP3 coating allegedly makes it slicker
What magwell do you have?
I have the Empire Katana V2 on my G48
So with all stock slide springs and with the ghost connector it’s a 4.25 pull ?
Yes, but also polishing the trigger group by hand with Flitz
I bought the he poly dat , connector and trigger kit with the NP3 coating . Cant wait to try it on my 43x
@@darthskywalker2467how did it go?
what magwell are you using?

So this one is just the shoe only, but their full trigger uses an OEM Glock trigger bar
what kind of magwell you got on that G48?
Empire Katana V2
What magwell?
Empire Katana V2
Is that the shield arms magwell?
