@@JettaManDesigns much appreciated. Just swapped an OEM g43x trigger shoe with a Johnny Glock's upgraded version. Any chance you'd have a moment to do a video on swapping the plunger safety on P80's? My GGP upper is catching on the trigger at reset and I think this may be the issue.
@@DailyCarrySolutions Ok. I'm sure I can make that happen. It's fairly simple. I need to swap a firing pin spring in Liberator anyway so I'll show you on that. I'll do my best to get it up Thursday. I'm in N.C. tomorrow getting the last part of my Instructor certs to teach conceal carry classes in N.C.
Try cutting the point off a toothpick and use that as a guide to keep everything aligned. As you screw the set screw in it will push the piece of toothpick out the other side.
Yes you are absolutely right if you're using a shoe that has a full pin (i.e. the original Ranger Proof Shoes like the red one shown here) or set screw that goes through to the other side. The Empire Stiletto shoe pictured does not have a set screw that goes all the way through neither does any of the new Ranger Proof shoes. Thanks for the input because that is a good technique when using that type of shoe. Good stuff.
I had an ebay Glock trigger shoe laying around my garage, i thought it was the same even though it was cheap aftermarket Glock trigger shoe but after I installed it it had an awesomely short trigger pull and was very happy.
Thank you for taking to time to make this video. I just purchased a Vickers trigger shoe for my G33 and your video was just what I needed to complete my project. Thanks again!
@@JettaManDesigns great content man! Also, saw you were in my home town of Des Moines for the Brownells promotion (or a big gun show) anyway just thought that was cool. Later.
That's a cool, different trigger bar. I like how the safety is more like a button than a lever. Wonder what it feels like to shoot. My only problem though is that I do not like FLAT faced triggers. I just don't like how they're all very wide and have very sharp edges and are not smooth with more comfortable, rounded edges.
Great video! Very detailed. Wish I saw this 9 years ago! I bent 2 triggers doing it the wrong way (without the correct tools). I have since learned and obtained almost all of the tools I need for any firearm. Thanks for sharing. Just sub'd.
LOL thx luv. Honestly I'm not a glock guy either but when I found out that I could create ONE OF A KIND artistic firearms I jumped in head first. I enjoy creating art and Glock clones , along with AR's (which I started building first) are the best or easiest way to satiate that desire. However, tell me what your chosen EDC or competition weapon is and I'll see what I can come up with. A "one trick Pony" I am not. Let's make something special. Let me know.
I myself picked up a stiletto, mine came with a bar though, black red safety tab was all that was offered, the no safety one was 🔥would like to get glock FDE in there!
I dont have any experience with the Tac Trigger Shoe but as long as it's designed for a glock then it should work fine. Follow Tac's installation directions.
Great clean illustration. Subscribed. Keep up the good content!
Thank you. Will do. More content coming soon.
