Nice over all review of the Overwatch DAT trigger, I installed one on my G43X, and I'm very happy with the results, I bought this trigger for the main reason go getting rid of the ribs on the face of the stock trigger and getting a flat trigger at the same time, those ribs are/were hard on my finger to the point shooting my 43X wasn't much fun and a band aid on my trigger finger was needed if I was going to continue shooting, this may not be a problem for everyone, but I have large hands and placement makes a big difference in shooting this small gun, I'm running a Double Diamond 3.5 connector and everything else is stock Glock, I like the feel much better with the flat trigger, I haven't shot it yet but I know it is going to work out just fine, I have flat triggers on my Sig Legion P226 SAO, and Sig P320 X Carry and love the feel and better hold on the trigger a flat trigger gives me, I tend to be more accurate with with first and second follow up shots , I didn't notice much difference if any on pull weight after installation on the 43X,but there is a difference in pull , it seems to be smoother and shorter, reset is crisp and tactical, I bought the $59.99 Dat trigger from Overwatch, which included the trigger bar, the trigger bar is well made and well coated /polished, this is my first Overwatch trigger, but I can see it won't be my last, for the money I couldn't go wrong...

Just found your channel and had to sub! Thank you for your service man stay safe out there! I’m also glad to see another Glock 30 owner out there. I have a gen 3 and it’s been a reliable shooter for two years. However with that said I definitely agree with the trigger. That was my first complaint, it’s ribbed trigger really beats your finger up if you run some pretty hot rounds through it. I’m definitely going to give that new trigger a try.
Thank you again for your service and awesome videos!

I have a 30S and changed the trigger out. But want as a carry and have to put the stock trigger back in. Thanks for your video

I'm right there with you on your reasoning for disliking the trigger on the 30.

Overwatch Mae's great triggers. He will give Vets a discount. Great review. ROBAR puts this trigger in the custom pistols.

Thanks overwatch great product . My service gun at night G30S I most likely will just go with smooth g21 trigger bar and shoe Oem , for now unless I can find a deal . Glock Minus connector would be nice that should be easy to find . Dept armor just retired looks like I get the job , god bless you Doug I learned a lot . Thanks for your reply K

Great review I have the TAC trigger on my Glock 21 gen4 it does feel the same as the stock one just with a flat face and a little bit smoother. I have the IGFS trigger on my Glock 30 gen4 that one is not smooth on the flat face and feels just like stock too.

Hey J! I have the same issue with those Glock trigger faces. They are a bit annoying, especially if you're out shooting for a while. Most of my other triggers (non-Glock) have a much smoother trigger face and smoother pull. I don't blame you for making the change. I did the same for one of mine, but I also have others that need it done, as well. It starts to add up quick. I look forward to your range report. Have a great weekend.

Glock has put that trigger (Target Tigger) and plastic sights since the 80's. Pistols imported into the US were scored and the manufactures got to import based on point accumulation. The model 19 and other compacts would lower the score and could import more with grooved target triggers and no metallic sights.
It is strange that over the years the practice have never changed.

I’ve had Overwatch Precision triggers and liked them. However, I just watched several videos where Overwatch Precision triggers in Glocks were not drop safe! Videos showed people dropping them from shoulder height and the trigger depressing when the gun hit the ground. Overwatch Precision was contacted and the triggers were replaced and the new ones good to go. Apparently there were some tolerance issues with the triggers and Glocks. However, I’m undecided whether to buy a new Overwatch Precision triggers now. I’m not going to drop my gun to test if it’s drop safe.

Jay what was your results shooting after install ? Another question did you put hackthorn sight set on this G30 ?

I have proctor Y notch sights on this gun. Shoots about the same. The trigger is good if you like the flat face or want a more subdued safety.

I agree with your decision to carry a .45, but why a G30? You spoke so highly about the SIG P320 compact. Have you checked out the P320 .45?

I have not. I do enjoy my P320's. I may try to get my hands on the .45 version but they seem pretty scarce in this area at least.

If you get a chance to check one out, do it. You won't be sorry. I got my .45 a couple of months ago and really like it. My wife liked mine so much that she sold her H&K P30SK and now carries one as well. I also have a P320 9mm subcompact as an alternative to the. 45.

"Used" is fine save money of purchase and save money cause previous owner have broken it in for you. Considering a Glock factory oem barrel claim of 80K rounds count used is good as long as it's not damage then again Glock is a work horse. I shoot many but I carry Glock, weekend I carry HK

I would buy it if it did not have the stupid trigger safety
