0:53 Ace, I think you may have used the old base damage when calculating the number of Upper Torso shots needed for a 4 shot kill (26+26+24+24=100). With the new base damage of 22 you will need 3 Upper Torso shots to get a 4 shot kill (26+26+26+22=100). Easy mistake to make when doing this much work for the community so quickly. Thanks for what you do.

AI difficulty in DMZ has been ramped up to virtually unplayable levels. I just died in same area I spawned being shot from 3 different angles at same time by ultra aggressive Ai whilst it took me 4 shots to torso at short range with a Marksman rifle to kill one Ai ! Ridiculous
You should only go for headshots on ai, they are easy targets to hit... Plus you should be limiting the number of angles the ai have on you, if there were 3 locations you could get shot from, you weren't positioning well
@@Grumpisaurus Spawning in the open with 3 angles isn't exactly something you can stop. There is always a front/back at least so 3+ is normal unless the game is composed entirely as one giant hallway with no choices.

Yeah, it's 3 UT shots and 1 anywhere on the body. Just a slight error in script is all. Still a 4 shot kill with that ttk mentioned, you just need 3 UT hits instead of 2
Thoughts about the changes are simple. You can’t trust what they say. That’s why your content is greatly appreciated. Other than that I only play ( occasionally now) 6v6 so it’s quite obvious who they were catering to for season 2.
Shotgun hipfire got nerfed pretty hard. Goomie made a video on how to maximize hipfire range and tighten hipfire spread. It's almost like the devs watched his video because I had the class saved and after the update, the range and spread got nerfed hard, at least for the Bryson 800 that I use.
they removed the whole purpose of shotguns after the update 😑 now you have to shoot players from point blank range in the head just to get a hitmarker and die.
I can tell you this about the update: I picked the wrong time to go for the minibak longshot kills, it wasn't horrible but boy was it a hit marker sim more often than I'd like to say. Thankfully it's finished and I'm on to the last SMG I need to platinum. As for the patch itself overall I'm really happy that it's more of a shuffle up on stats opposed to hard nerfs, I'll never forget the time Dice released the FAMAS in BF3 and then nerfed it nearly into oblivion. I'm talking damage nerf, recoil nerf, ammo nerf, reload time nerf.. it was unreal
I felt like a lot of stats were changed, they even added tuning to lasers, recoil has changed, visual bounce of the weapons has changed, yet not much in the patch notes
@@malazan6004 I felt like there were stealth buffs to mobility. Idk I feel I can play more aggressively. I can't fully explain it but some weapons felt sluggish and after the update some felt better. The shotguns feel more light with their mobility, only other difference is that they nerfed the hipfire tightness, the Bryson doesn't have the literal dot hipfire reticle anymore, it's much wider. Still super consistent tho
I'm still sticking with Cold War. Superior game to Modern Warfare II. Give it a try now! It used to be bad, but now it's superior to this 70$ Modern Warfare.

I thought it deserved a buff cos it has a 7 shot kill range when it only fires at 652 RPM. The MX9/Aug and FSS hurricane do not have 7 shot kill ranges. Imo the MP5 and Vaznev having them doesn’t make sense either. But yeah, I don’t understand this flak against the Bizon.

Probably because 6v6 was in a better spot in terms of balance, not to mention it likely brings in much more money, so it makes sense they put more effort into updating it
The Minibak nerf is so weird they nerfed it in season 1 reloaded also. What is their issue with this gun? The Hurrican can honestly to basically the same thing and has a big mag.
@@malazan6004 Shipment was a prime example of how broken this gun could be. I kept running into teams sweating with the Minibak. Quite honestly I'm fine with it, the smgs just suck. I feel the Vez should have been nerfed harder by reducing the RoF or increasing recoil

Would’ve liked to see the basp get some love either a reduction to horizontal recoil or a faster ads speed. The fennec is out shining it due to both of these factors. I love the gun but feel like it should have some help to make it more competitive with the other weapons
Regarding DMZ/WZ, prepatch typically used midrange guns were rpk, taq v, taq56, raal, and ak47. Post patch, it sounds like most will just use the taq 56.
I wanted to point out something that wasn’t in the patch notes but I noticed they nerfed the hip fire accuracy of the Bryson 800. I used to run a hip fire focused build where the crosshair was effectively a closed circle but now it got much wider.

So I’ve only been played shoot house and shipment. Now that I’m forced to play the other maps, I have no desire to play MP. No wonder everyone is bitching about maps. They’re awful and the game is super slow and boring outside of those two maps. Just give us shipment and shoot house playlists AND new content.

It seems like for the most part going forward weapon balancing is gonna focus more on WZ/DMZ, not the worse but for 6v6 can be a pain sometime. Also I was told that the riot shield is now more blurry idk i used it the first month of the game but haven’t went back to it.
Okay, so they took my favorite gun the M13B, which I LOVED because of its consistency anywhere on the body, and gave it the exact thing I hated about the other ARs. Got it. They also nerfed the Minibak even HARDER, which is my favorite SMG. Cool. Guess I’m not playing this anymore.
I find it interesting that the fennec received no nerfs besides the headshot damage cuz i was using it yesterday and it felt sm weaker than the last time I was using it. Could’ve been my brain playin games tho

Why nerf the miniback? It already had garbage handling and its ttk was mid for an smg. They nerfed that but left the vaznev and the lachman sub the same. If any smgs needed changes they shouldve buffed the bas-p and mx9
As a KBM player, I still hate the visual recoil and shit stability with most weapons, wish tuning was more useful. The only way to counter it is to build for max stability/accuracy but then you’re forced to play much slower unlike the controller players who have all the AA in the world to negate the inconsistent horizontal recoil/bounce. Just not fun to play.
I’m sad about the minibak nerf. I noticed this nerf yesterday before I even saw this video. I used armor piercing rounds and it still seemed like the bullets were just bouncing off opponents. And in warzone when people are wearing armor, Forget about it.
This just leads to all weapons getting a massive buff and the best weapons get even better relatively. This leads to a lot of balance issues as ARs become upgraded SMGs and LMGs become borderline unusable compared to an AR. Snipers and Shotguns become massively more oppressive.
They keep nerfing it for no reason, they do it just because it's a popular pick not because it's actually broken🤦♂️and the vityaz is basically the same gun as it was pre patch except slightly worse at long range where you wouldn't even want to use it in the first place
I feel like the Lachmann 762 is definitely faster fire rate - I hadn't looked at patch notes, went into a game to finish gold on my Lachmann BR and the fire rate was noticeably faster imo
personally i wouldve liked to see the Fennec nerfed a bit. I experience it as a bit too strong on PC Multiplayer. Its just a little too viable, its shreds up close but with that low recoil its a little too good at range imo.
Im pretty sure the lockwood and knife got nerfed, the lockwood for me anyway seems like it doesnt kill 1 hit close/medium range scoped in, which makes absolutely no sense at all. and the knife for me in the infected mode seems to be either broken or inconsistent, as I knifed a player from behind with my knife and it gave me a hitmarker. I don't get why I am getting 1 shot by a shotgun but other players takes 2+ shots to kill in infected of all modes from close range. Season 2 is dog shit right now.
M4 is not as accurate as it was pre patch, a definite nerf imo. Also it remains to be seen what other stealth nerfs they have implemented like they often do 😂

The Lachmann 762 actually feels stronger now. Maybe they changed the damage for incendiary rounds because I noticed I've been getting burn kills after I die which I never got in season 1. Please take a look at incendiary rounds I think they got buffed.

I feel a feeling they had data that the minibak was over performing due to 24/7 shipment where it dominates. Would be a shame if they are basing balancing off of shipment gameplay where balance goes through the window. Knowing the devs they probably didn’t consider that being the case

You miscounted because you forgot the base damage decrease, but the m13b now can only four shot kill with only four upper torsos since they deal 26 damage, any 22 damage body shot won't be enough to add to 100
So disappointed with the update. After entire month of of not playing I decided to retry it. The frame rate drops, with the consistent crashing makes the game unplayable. I never had these issues even at launch. I tried reinstalling drivers and clearing the cache. Nothing. The sbmm was so outrageous yesterday I probably can count on my hands how many players I saw that were over 250 level maxed. I'm only level 95. This game is a tragic disaster.

I really appreciate the increased 2 shot consistency for the FTAC. The 2 shot vs 3 shot kill felt really frustrating in semi-auto with a 10 round mag

SO-14 is my jam, can do a bit of everything. Nice buff, I was tearing it up in resurgence but got ripped by the RPK a few times. No surprise there.

The riot shield now has a permanent scope attachment. Lol. My field of view is maxed out, but the shield lowers the field of view.

Yep infinity ward does lots of stealth changes and leaves a ton of guess work. I went back through all my weapons one by one as some felt different.

p. sure the 7.62 kastov change was aimed towards hardcore to prevent the gun from being a 1 shot kill anywhere at all ranges.

Thanks for the info on the Warzone 2 update. Its impressive how a free game gets so much content and attention, its almost like it is getting additional funding from some other full price title that is being entirely neglected so this free game can get all the attention.
Probably because 6v6 was in a better spot in terms of balance, not to mention it likely brings in much more money, so it makes sense they put more effort into updating it

In post patch shows m13 basic damage down to 22 which means m13 needs 3Shot to uppertorso to get 4 shot kill but you inform 2shot to upper torso.

The Minibak nerf is so weird they nerfed it in season 1 reloaded also. What is their issue with this gun? The Hurrican can honestly to basically the same thing and has a big mag.
@@malazan6004 Shipment was a prime example of how broken this gun could be. I kept running into teams sweating with the Minibak. Quite honestly I'm fine with it, the smgs just suck. I feel the Vez should have been nerfed harder by reducing the RoF or increasing recoil

I just tried using the Kastov 762 for the first time in ages, and it feels like it's had a pretty substantial nerf in 6v6.
You should have a look at the M16 since the patch.
Using it briefly and it feels like a completely different gun.

Would’ve liked to see the basp get some love either a reduction to horizontal recoil or a faster ads speed. The fennec is out shining it due to both of these factors. I love the gun but feel like it should have some help to make it more competitive with the other weapons
Regarding DMZ/WZ, prepatch typically used midrange guns were rpk, taq v, taq56, raal, and ak47. Post patch, it sounds like most will just use the taq 56.

I wanted to point out something that wasn’t in the patch notes but I noticed they nerfed the hip fire accuracy of the Bryson 800.
I used to run a hip fire focused build where the crosshair was effectively a closed circle but now it got much wider.
"Fixed an issue with choke attachments scaling hip spread incorrectly". It's under attachments.

Just give us shipment and shoot house playlists AND new content.

It seems like for the most part going forward weapon balancing is gonna focus more on WZ/DMZ, not the worse but for 6v6 can be a pain sometime. Also I was told that the riot shield is now more blurry idk i used it the first month of the game but haven’t went back to it.
Okay, so they took my favorite gun the M13B, which I LOVED because of its consistency anywhere on the body, and gave it the exact thing I hated about the other ARs. Got it.
They also nerfed the Minibak even HARDER, which is my favorite SMG. Cool.

Why nerf the miniback? It already had garbage handling and its ttk was mid for an smg. They nerfed that but left the vaznev and the lachman sub the same. If any smgs needed changes they shouldve buffed the bas-p and mx9
As a KBM player, I still hate the visual recoil and shit stability with most weapons, wish tuning was more useful. The only way to counter it is to build for max stability/accuracy but then you’re forced to play much slower unlike the controller players who have all the AA in the world to negate the inconsistent horizontal recoil/bounce. Just not fun to play.

I noticed this nerf yesterday before I even saw this video.
I used armor piercing rounds and it still seemed like the bullets were just bouncing off opponents.

They should buff ADS all around for attachments due to the fact that attachments slow down ads wayyy too much
Because you arent supposed to fill every attachment slot for all guns.
This just leads to all weapons getting a massive buff and the best weapons get even better relatively.
This leads to a lot of balance issues as ARs become upgraded SMGs and LMGs become borderline unusable compared to an AR. Snipers and Shotguns become massively more oppressive.
Most people seemed happy with 6v6 weapon balance so not surprised on the results. The complaints were elsewhere like maps etc.

They keep nerfing it for no reason, they do it just because it's a popular pick not because it's actually broken🤦♂️and the vityaz is basically the same gun as it was pre patch except slightly worse at long range where you wouldn't even want to use it in the first place

I feel like the Lachmann 762 is definitely faster fire rate - I hadn't looked at patch notes, went into a game to finish gold on my Lachmann BR and the fire rate was noticeably faster imo

personally i wouldve liked to see the Fennec nerfed a bit. I experience it as a bit too strong on PC Multiplayer. Its just a little too viable, its shreds up close but with that low recoil its a little too good at range imo.

Im pretty sure the lockwood and knife got nerfed, the lockwood for me anyway seems like it doesnt kill 1 hit close/medium range scoped in, which makes absolutely no sense at all. and the knife for me in the infected mode seems to be either broken or inconsistent, as I knifed a player from behind with my knife and it gave me a hitmarker. I don't get why I am getting 1 shot by a shotgun but other players takes 2+ shots to kill in infected of all modes from close range. Season 2 is dog shit right now.
M4 is not as accurate as it was pre patch, a definite nerf imo.
Also it remains to be seen what other stealth nerfs they have implemented like they often do 😂

The Lachmann 762 actually feels stronger now. Maybe they changed the damage for incendiary rounds because I noticed I've been getting burn kills after I die which I never got in season 1. Please take a look at incendiary rounds I think they got buffed.

I feel a feeling they had data that the minibak was over performing due to 24/7 shipment where it dominates. Would be a shame if they are basing balancing off of shipment gameplay where balance goes through the window. Knowing the devs they probably didn’t consider that being the case

You miscounted because you forgot the base damage decrease, but the m13b now can only four shot kill with only four upper torsos since they deal 26 damage, any 22 damage body shot won't be enough to add to 100
When I played.. been like 2 weeks I wait for update... it felt like it was soooooo glitchy and the sensitivity felt way way way off
So disappointed with the update. After entire month of of not playing I decided to retry it. The frame rate drops, with the consistent crashing makes the game unplayable. I never had these issues even at launch. I tried reinstalling drivers and clearing the cache. Nothing. The sbmm was so outrageous yesterday I probably can count on my hands how many players I saw that were over 250 level maxed. I'm only level 95. This game is a tragic disaster.

i was playing with FTAC yesterday and i didint noticed any those buffs. yup... as always we got almost farts for weapon balancing, also wtf with the new assault rifle, to dust a mofo it took me a lot of hits to the body at short-mid distance.
