When using the Fennec, I recommend using the P890 as your secondary, since they both fire the same round, they will share ammo and will therefore give you some extra ammo per life

From personal experience, it's way too easy to run out of ammo when using the Double Tap mod, even more so than the Fennec normally does. I'd recommend running the P890 as your secondary. If you add the 12rnd Mag and Akimbo to it, you get an extra 4 mags for your DT Fennec (72 Reserve vs the normal 24) This extra ammo may let you get away with not running scavenger, which is normally a must-have with the Double Tap Fennec! Flash hiders are really underrated in this game, one that helps with recoil steadiness would be better with this gun imo. They actually provide recoil bonuses, like recoil stabilization that helps with visual recoil and side to side bounce, and/or recoil steadiness that helps with vertical recoil control like the vertical grips. The actual flash hider part is really good too: makes visibility while shooting a lot better and makes the gun more pleasant to shoot because of that, while the muzzle breaks can be pretty harsh with their muzzle flash and general shakiness of the gun and camera
Flash hiders have potential but the atrocious attachment balance and brutaly punishing stat trade-offs just make em unusable sadly. We need a flash hider that only hides flash and is free/super tiny downside.

Because of the high rate of fire I think you'd much prefer recoil control over damage range since 1 extra bullet to kill isn't that big of a deal when your rpm is almost 1100
Correct, and I don't feel like any of the barrels are worth using on this gun. The only thing they may give that is nice is bullet velocity but doubt it's enough to be worth the ads speed decrease. Actually most of the guns I've used so far I haven't had a barrel on.
Honestly I think the PDSW is more reliable than the Fennec overall. Only slightly slower than the Fennec in both TTK and movement but the recoil is like half of the Fennec so it's way more forgiving and on average, you'll probably kill quicker with the PDSW.
The most important part about the burst mag is the ability to one burst of both shots are headshots within the provided ranges. It feels like using a shotgun sometimes because you just pull the trigger and people die
The Fennec 45 was the gun I had my best games with the weekend on Shipment. It's just so snappy and it's ttk seemed to be the most consistently fast. Everything else was pretty indicernable with a crazy outlier being the Raall MG with the canted laser sight. A little bit of play adjustment and if you got in my way with that thing it was over for you. I had my biggest games with that thing and it was fun as hell. Also fun was the Bryson 800 and Deagle after grinding all auto weapons.

I used the Double Tap attachment. It's great for flanking/ninja stealth build. I would add Scavenger or Munitions Box. I had fun using the Double Tap, currently for the 1st battle pass in A10 there's a Fennec blueprint called Hacksaw it has the Double Tap attachment
The fennec is very fun, I used the double tap mod when going for longshots. But thought that it kinda sucked at longer ranges and I see why now, it's weird that it gives you a great boost to your ranges but makes it terrible at long range. I feel like it at least should have kept a good headshot multiplyr at range
Once I’m done leveling up all the guns (just have the snipers left to level up), I’ll make my class with this one using double tap. It feels really nice and that 2 round burst goes out incredibly fast and follow up bursts are fast as well.

I love to turn the fennec into a long boi, especially in warzone. Basically the "Hacksaw" blueprint but with the 45 round mag. Not rly an smg anymore, but damn it looks good and feels good (apart from the horrible ads speed).
I just wish they would make the body of the gun, the part ahead of the trigger, as thick as the vector actually is. That’s where the mechanical magic of the vector lies. The counter weight that mitigates most of the recoil as it cycles through rounds after each shot.

I hope you cover the FTAC first in the battle rifle line. I made a very fun and effective build where I built it towards speed (aim down sight speed and sprint to fire speed).
If you pair the no stock with the phase 3 grip, you gain speed and sprint out without harming recoil at all, it’s actually one of the options I use consistently with it

Ok, question: If we modify the bullet velocity of a subsonic gun (we put a longer barrel, or a supressor that increases bullet velocity, or high velocity ammo) will we lose the subsonic benefits (no tracers, enemy skulls not showing)?
I believe Ace tested this and found that you in fact do NOT lose the Subsonic Benefit, no matter what Attachments you put on a gun that's already Subsonic by default. I could be wrong on this, take it with a grain of salt, but iirc, that's the case with all Weapons that are already Subsonic.
It wasn’t mentioned but based on the stats. It appears you can get a 2 shot kill with the Double Tap Mod with headshots. With some math it appears 55ms would be the 2 shot ttk.
Try the Fennec "Hacksaw" blueprint, it's the only SMG build with a "Sniper" pro tune and it really does reach out and touch people much much farther and more accurate than most SMG builds.
Burst-fire smg connoisseur here, Liked the burst mode in mw19, like it even more in this game. I miss the ability to snipe people with it (didn't lose its 4 hit kill potential in mw19 at even countersnipe ranges iirc) but it's a bit more balanced all around now. Doesn't hurt that it's much harder to keep a good ads speed with other builds... that being said I do think that going straight from 4 hits to 8 is overkill. Burst smgs are so niche that they really didn't have to keep it in check any more, the 12 round mag is enough
hey... want to know what runs faster than fenec and knife combined ? make a custom weapon blueprint using already excisting one, use your own parts and tunings, save it, use it on your loadout, now it should say that you are using the "pro -tuned" tunings on your own loadout, go to firing range and the weapon will most likely load in as an invalid weapon and not load and you can move around unarmed, works the best with mp7s myth maker BB, the game permanently unloads you primary tho until you switch loadouts/make it just the base gun just a word of warning

Are you considering doing more attachment breakdowns? For example muzzle attachments and their ads and range properties? With the fennec the question is what range values silencers give versus barrels as the barrels make it quite slow.
The gun is supposed to have almost no recoil at all due to its recoiling mechanism. I expected better vertical climb. Horizontal recoil I can understand
I wish you'd skip over to the Marksman Rifles before the battle rifles. Seems to me like Assault Rifles and Marksman Rifles are kinda the meta right now, so imo they should take priority.
This has been my go to gun for any small to med size map. For Shoothouse, I was destroying people. You do have to have the 45rnd mag though. Its useless otherwise. This is also for aggressive playing. If you like to charge into objectives and run around a map, this is your gun. If you’re a more lay back and hold corners player, stick with assault rifles.
I really hate how the negatives of using an attachment is so large compared to the positives. Makes no sense at all and really makes most attachments in the game unusable.
I run with drum mag, vertical recoil muzzle, then lazer underbarrel, and stock that improve sprint to fire. Use iron sights b/c it fights so close anyways. Fastest gun in the game. Play it like a shotgun.
I think you got some of that math wrong with the TTK of the 2-round burst. In the 8 shot kill range you have the TTK as 310ms. If you have to shoot 4 bursts with 3 delays of 100ms, I figured it would take more than 10ms to shoot 8 bullets
Range fennec: use the burst attachments but replace the muzzle with the ZLR 16.5 barrel. Better range and bullet velocity along with not loosing pretty much any ads time
For some reason it feels like it’s better than the MW2019 version. It felt really good to use but could use some small buffs. The 8 shot kills need to be removed and the headshot multiplier could use a slight buff. The double tap mod also needs that weird last damage drop off fixed so it doesn’t take so many shots
Do we know if the barrels have the same range increases when using the double tap mod? Thinking about the 16.5 barrel plus double tap for doing my plat longshots...
The reason its Recoil is so low is cause, the real life gun; The Vector, has an inbuilt recoil control system. They tried to mimic that system but also add some recoil to keep it fair
They really need to nerf the cons of accessories. How can a tiny optic and a tiny muzzle bring the ADS speed from 175 ms to 215 ms? Not to mention there are 2 more accessories helping with ADS speed in that build, it's just nonsense
I would like to see warzone build vs multiplayer builds in the future.. Also, everyone is using this gun in Warzone.. Not so much in multiplayer, but I take that with a grain of salt, since it seems like everyone just leveling up or doing camo grinds in MW2.

PLEASE TEST BOMBSQUAD I’m getting so many situations where explosives can 1 shot me especially the launchers I keep getting killed by 1 rocket At full health and it’s not a direct impact
kinda weird how it does same damage as 5.56, the ARs damage profile are kinda balanced with the bullet size(.308 does massive damage compare to 5.56/5.45). I know balancing is a thing to create diversity between ARs and Smgs, but why dont they just apply the same thing they did to assault rifles that already using that damage profile (no recoil 4 shots and more recoil 3 shots). Give vector a 3 shots cus .45 acp compare to mp5 and the rest of smgs being 9mm and have them no recoil. This would play out like how siege does their smg vs ARs, no recoil laser beams that does less damage but if aim head or upper torso then they would compete ARs even at medium to long range thanks to no recoil. BUT THEN ARS would need to have more recoil to give smg a reason to use which would be obvious cus so many other video games do this. However, this is cod where everyone just wanna throw their brain out the window and invest zero effort into mechanical skill to compensate for recoil which isnt fun and everyone with skill issue would complain about it. Also to point out that this damage profile system might work, so-14 might need a nerf cus its the only gun with .308 damage profile(44 damage) with over 700 rpm fire rate(750-790 rpm)->0.4 ms ttk for 3 plates in warzone IF you can control it(im talking controller, mnk can stop rambling about how the game have no recoil while they control it with their entire arm on a mouse)
As someone who legit leveld up all the weapons and camos.. I despised the fennec outside of shipment.. its just not it. I'm level 250 and maintain a 1.0 K/D with the ridiculously OP SBMM .. anyways, cool vid, as always, individual results may vary.
Love/hate the double tap mod. Up close is cool, but anything past 30m requires absolutely perfect aim while on the move or you'll get pasted! Plus, the slow bullet velocity doesn't help at more medium ranges where an opponent is running fast. Also, chews through that 12-round mag pretty quickly and then you're reloading yet again (and, as we saw, the reload speed isn't the best).
Did they change something about player HP and damage numbers or something? None of the numbers make sense to me, compared to what's shown in the stats page in the actual game. Or am I missing an important attachment that changes all of those numbers? Or is the gun just very nerfed compared to what it used to be?
Fennec is OP in the right hands. Beats all other guns. This will probably be banned in CDL, it's too good rn. If you can consistently land your shots you won't lose. I'm a objective menace in hardpoint and HQ running this and lockwood shotgun.
I like the idea of the Double Tap Mod, but I honestly don't understand what the person who determined that damage dropoff at 38m was thinking. This mod seems like an obvious choice for getting longshots, but it basically becomes useless around the distance needed for longshots. So frustratingly stupid!
Annoying that the suppressors affect your ADS so much more than the damn drum mag. There's barely any downside to being able to spray almost twice as long, but if you dare to use a suppressed barrel you get totally screwed. What a load. Also test the tracer thing. I'm not entirely sure they actually do as they say. On a similar note, can you go back to test scope glint? I notice in ranges where a medium glint should just not appear being present in killcams when I die aiming at someone past 70 meters...
This gun feels like it kills so slow simply because of its bullet velocity so when i grinded gold I exclusively built for bullet velocity and walk speed, I got a usable build but aim down was somewhere near 500ms which really isn't bad when your playing cautious and always ads
Bit of a shame that the bread & butter of this gun's real life counterpart is its recoil reduction system, and that's basically nonexistent in this game. Black Ops 2 actually did this gun more justice in that regard.
I was struggling with this gun and I stopped upgrading it at level 20. Can't quite put my finger on the issue but I was having way more fun with the G3
Your setup isn’t to the best of the fennec’s abilities.. please do a recoil and ads test with the same laser,same stock,same magazine, fennec rubber grip, cronen grooveshot grip. Most accurate and fastest time to kill fennec out.
I really want to like this gun but I just cant. I think its that I find its looks (esp. rear grip area) and sound weird. The recoil also just feels wonky.

I do agree that they should've made the receiver thicker, but I do quite like the thinner, sleeker look, even if it makes NO FRIGGIN SENSE-

is move speed calculated by primary + secondary is does it only matter what you are actively holding?

@@deecolon3236 The knife is faster in Tac Sprint but not regular sprint unless they buffed the knife with the S1 Reloaded update.

I miss the ability to snipe people with it (didn't lose its 4 hit kill potential in mw19 at even countersnipe ranges iirc) but it's a bit more balanced all around now. Doesn't hurt that it's much harder to keep a good ads speed with other builds... that being said I do think that going straight from 4 hits to 8 is overkill. Burst smgs are so niche that they really didn't have to keep it in check any more, the 12 round mag is enough

hey... want to know what runs faster than fenec and knife combined ? make a custom weapon blueprint using already excisting one, use your own parts and tunings, save it, use it on your loadout, now it should say that you are using the "pro -tuned" tunings on your own loadout, go to firing range and the weapon will most likely load in as an invalid weapon and not load and you can move around unarmed, works the best with mp7s myth maker BB, the game permanently unloads you primary tho until you switch loadouts/make it just the base gun just a word of warning
The ADS penalties are so ridiculous in this game - they clearly don’t want people really moving around/playing aggressively
i mean, if you're sprinting around that much, should be easy to close that distance, so you don't need the range
yet it's still doable.
Honestly not had a problem with this at all, if anything I'm able to play more aggressively in this COD

The base recoil pattern looks so different it could be two different guns. Seems to have a higher than usually variance
On a side note, I’ve noticed few of the suggested builds have a barrel which is a shame since that was so big in mw2019. The negatives are too punishing

Are you considering doing more attachment breakdowns? For example muzzle attachments and their ads and range properties? With the fennec the question is what range values silencers give versus barrels as the barrels make it quite slow.
The vector in Tarkov is really good. UMP is pretty awesome as well. We finally get the Aug this next wipe! And the honey Badger :)
The gun is supposed to have almost no recoil at all due to its recoiling mechanism.

I wish you'd skip over to the Marksman Rifles before the battle rifles. Seems to me like Assault Rifles and Marksman Rifles are kinda the meta right now, so imo they should take priority.
This has been my go to gun for any small to med size map. For Shoothouse, I was destroying people. You do have to have the 45rnd mag though. Its useless otherwise. This is also for aggressive playing. If you like to charge into objectives and run around a map, this is your gun. If you’re a more lay back and hold corners player, stick with assault rifles.

I really hate how the negatives of using an attachment is so large compared to the positives. Makes no sense at all and really makes most attachments in the game unusable.
I run with drum mag, vertical recoil muzzle, then lazer underbarrel, and stock that improve sprint to fire. Use iron sights b/c it fights so close anyways. Fastest gun in the game. Play it like a shotgun.

The Fennec when tuned for speed, is literally crazy on Shipment. Can easily drop 75+ kills every game
Instead of the 45 round mag I take a p890 with a fast draw grip to help finish off any gunfights and ensure I’m safe before I reload
I think you got some of that math wrong with the TTK of the 2-round burst. In the 8 shot kill range you have the TTK as 310ms. If you have to shoot 4 bursts with 3 delays of 100ms, I figured it would take more than 10ms to shoot 8 bullets
Range fennec: use the burst attachments but replace the muzzle with the ZLR 16.5 barrel. Better range and bullet velocity along with not loosing pretty much any ads time
For some reason it feels like it’s better than the MW2019 version. It felt really good to use but could use some small buffs. The 8 shot kills need to be removed and the headshot multiplier could use a slight buff. The double tap mod also needs that weird last damage drop off fixed so it doesn’t take so many shots
Do we know if the barrels have the same range increases when using the double tap mod? Thinking about the 16.5 barrel plus double tap for doing my plat longshots...

The reason its Recoil is so low is cause, the real life gun; The Vector, has an inbuilt recoil control system. They tried to mimic that system but also add some recoil to keep it fair
They really need to nerf the cons of accessories. How can a tiny optic and a tiny muzzle bring the ADS speed from 175 ms to 215 ms? Not to mention there are 2 more accessories helping with ADS speed in that build, it's just nonsense
In real life, it has a unique recoil system that makes it to where there is almost no recoil.
I would like to see warzone build vs multiplayer builds in the future.. Also, everyone is using this gun in Warzone.. Not so much in multiplayer, but I take that with a grain of salt, since it seems like everyone just leveling up or doing camo grinds in MW2.

PLEASE TEST BOMBSQUAD I’m getting so many situations where explosives can 1 shot me especially the launchers I keep getting killed by 1 rocket At full health and it’s not a direct impact
kinda weird how it does same damage as 5.56, the ARs damage profile are kinda balanced with the bullet size(.308 does massive damage compare to 5.56/5.45). I know balancing is a thing to create diversity between ARs and Smgs, but why dont they just apply the same thing they did to assault rifles that already using that damage profile (no recoil 4 shots and more recoil 3 shots). Give vector a 3 shots cus .45 acp compare to mp5 and the rest of smgs being 9mm and have them no recoil. This would play out like how siege does their smg vs ARs, no recoil laser beams that does less damage but if aim head or upper torso then they would compete ARs even at medium to long range thanks to no recoil. BUT THEN ARS would need to have more recoil to give smg a reason to use which would be obvious cus so many other video games do this. However, this is cod where everyone just wanna throw their brain out the window and invest zero effort into mechanical skill to compensate for recoil which isnt fun and everyone with skill issue would complain about it.
Also to point out that this damage profile system might work, so-14 might need a nerf cus its the only gun with .308 damage profile(44 damage) with over 700 rpm fire rate(750-790 rpm)->0.4 ms ttk for 3 plates in warzone IF you can control it(im talking controller, mnk can stop rambling about how the game have no recoil while they control it with their entire arm on a mouse)
As someone who legit leveld up all the weapons and camos.. I despised the fennec outside of shipment.. its just not it. I'm level 250 and maintain a 1.0 K/D with the ridiculously OP SBMM .. anyways, cool vid, as always, individual results may vary.
Love/hate the double tap mod. Up close is cool, but anything past 30m requires absolutely perfect aim while on the move or you'll get pasted! Plus, the slow bullet velocity doesn't help at more medium ranges where an opponent is running fast. Also, chews through that 12-round mag pretty quickly and then you're reloading yet again (and, as we saw, the reload speed isn't the best).
Glad they didnt tank the handling of this gun for no reason at all like in mw2019

Did they change something about player HP and damage numbers or something? None of the numbers make sense to me, compared to what's shown in the stats page in the actual game. Or am I missing an important attachment that changes all of those numbers? Or is the gun just very nerfed compared to what it used to be?
Fennec is OP in the right hands. Beats all other guns. This will probably be banned in CDL, it's too good rn. If you can consistently land your shots you won't lose. I'm a objective menace in hardpoint and HQ running this and lockwood shotgun.
I like the idea of the Double Tap Mod, but I honestly don't understand what the person who determined that damage dropoff at 38m was thinking. This mod seems like an obvious choice for getting longshots, but it basically becomes useless around the distance needed for longshots. So frustratingly stupid!
This gun is GOD TIER in Warzone Solos. *Instantly* melts people in close quarters. Definitely need the drum mag tho.
I run double tap , 16.5" barrel , 7mw ,wooden stock and slimline dotsight 52 metres of range. Easy longshots

Annoying that the suppressors affect your ADS so much more than the damn drum mag. There's barely any downside to being able to spray almost twice as long, but if you dare to use a suppressed barrel you get totally screwed. What a load.
Also test the tracer thing. I'm not entirely sure they actually do as they say.
On a similar note, can you go back to test scope glint? I notice in ranges where a medium glint should just not appear being present in killcams when I die aiming at someone past 70 meters...
Why isn't the 2tap just a weapon variant... That would make way more sense and give it a few different mag options too.
This gun feels like it kills so slow simply because of its bullet velocity so when i grinded gold I exclusively built for bullet velocity and walk speed, I got a usable build but aim down was somewhere near 500ms which really isn't bad when your playing cautious and always ads
On the real, who thought giving the ads barrels only -8 Ms of ads time while giving the others + 150 and 175 Ms ads made any sense at all
Bit of a shame that the bread & butter of this gun's real life counterpart is its recoil reduction system, and that's basically nonexistent in this game.
Black Ops 2 actually did this gun more justice in that regard.
I was struggling with this gun and I stopped upgrading it at level 20. Can't quite put my finger on the issue but I was having way more fun with the G3
Your setup isn’t to the best of the fennec’s abilities.. please do a recoil and ads test with the same laser,same stock,same magazine, fennec rubber grip, cronen grooveshot grip. Most accurate and fastest time to kill fennec out.

I really want to like this gun but I just cant. I think its that I find its looks (esp. rear grip area) and sound weird. The recoil also just feels wonky.
