Surprised you didn’t show an aggression/speed build, this gun is amazing for that. VLK laser, sawed off mod, demo pump, 5 shell mag and bryson choke.
Now he has to do the video 😮again
I personally don’t find it very practical. It literally has no purpose other than just having another pump-action one. All the other shotguns are way better in their respective strengths.
@@WafleEnterprises How does it have “no purpose”? It’s faster than any other shotgun with that build and still has a great range potential, so there’s your purpose. It’s fun to run around like a madman and melt people with it.
gonna try this one out today since im doing shipment 24/7 for double xp seems like a good fit
A huge upside for this shotgun is that it has the highest potential crouch walk speed, makes it a very good secondary for one life modes.
*For Sentinels.
@@KiryokuYT 👍🏽
Fun playstyle
Only bums crouch walk 😂😂😂😂
@@officialdoughbae675 L opinion
@@KiryokuYT Taking a secondary for moving fast while being quiet makes you a camper? k dood
The difference between the Pistol Grip and the Sawed Off Mod is that the Pistol Grip will move your aiming reticle a lot more when you move around with the left stick while ADS then what the Sawed Off Mod does
It can be cool cause it can make adjusting your aim a lot quicker and snappier, but it’s a lot harder to use in my opinion and I personally prefer the more consistent aim of the Sawed Off Mod
This is helpful tbh. Thank u
That's so backwards to what you'd expect lol
Thanks for noticing this. I personally use the pistol grip because it looks cool while the sawn off looks fucking stupid
@@redringer314 that’s exactly what I did too but I think I’m just a lot more consistent with the Sawed off Mod and the look of it grew on my as well
If you aren't using the 5 round mag you're doing it wrong; it's that awesome
Literally just searched for your gun guide earlier and couldn’t find it. Then it popped up. Didn’t realize you hadn’t covered it yet. Keep up the good work!
Very timely upload as I'm literally doing longshots for this right now! Thanks for the class setups 👍
I wish he'd have done any of the shotgun videos when I was just starting to bother with camos, I wasted so much time missing longshots not knowing there was actual randomness built into the slugs, that they DO NOT actually hit the point of aim but instead inside a small circle around it, and that I wasn't just missing all the shots I was trying to make from 30+ meters because of travel time or bullet drop...
I've been using this as a backup (overkill secondary) while grinding camos with other guns.
I usually feel at least slightly guilty doing so, because if I have to use it on more than one person it fuckin' rips. We've gotten a good few emergency airdrops together... I get real aggressive when I know I'm about to use it too.
If you can aim halfway accurately in a hurry and sprint around with the hipfire/sprint-to-fire laser and stuff on and use all your movement options you can almost guarantee at least one kill streak per life and all the hipfire'd "One Shot"s your little heart could ever hope for...
5 round mag is MASSIVELY underrated on this gun
Few guns in the game where running a smaller mag is better than extended mags
Bryson 890 is basically based on the Mossberg 590M is like the Mossberg 500 but with the magazine attachment
I want to shoot one soon.
it just offers a quick reload and extended capacity if u use a drum mag.
@Antonio Rios true true. But if youve ever used a drum youd know theyre a pain to load
@gamerman7431 yeah and they also weigh like 5 pounds
cool story bro
Excellent work as usual. Now that you've gotten through all the primary weapons (looking forward to pistol guides, maybe?), has your top 10 weapons opinion changed? Especially with the attachment changes?
0:06 decoy 😂
Before the broadside was added, I felt like MW2 had the best balance between shotties and other weapons that we've had in a while, and a big reason for this is the inconsistency of hip fire at any kind of range.
broadside has been nerfed and is balanced because only the dragon's breath ammo was op. the rest of the gun is fine.
about the Hipfire builds, before Season 2 the Chokes at least seemed to work from both hip and ADS so hip builds were very good, but they made the chokes not work anywhere near as well from the hip.
I really don’t understand why so many people seem to prefer the Bryson 800 over the Bryson 890, does the extra Meter the Bryson 800 gives really make that much of a difference that it overshadows the much better ADS, Reload time, and Mobility of the 890?
Aiming down sight is what gives you the most consistency so surely you’d want the faster ADS weapon
thanks nice
thanks for these videos, ive been using the Bryson Shredder on this gun bc i thought it was the best for my build but the Tacfire looks like the way to go. i will say that the Shredder barrel looks the dopest and is a nice contrast if ur using a solid color camo. Bryson 890 is nice, but it is outclassed by the Broadside, Bryson 800, and sometimes the Lockwood too
Does the extra meter that the 800 gives really make it that much better then the 890? I feel like 1 meter is almost negligible while the ADS, Sprint to Fire, Reload Time, and Mobility are actually noticeable differences
@@CaptainProx from my experience playing w both i thought the 800 felt more consistent w attachments on it, maybe that'll change when i use the other barrel
Its not bad..
Probably my 2nd Sh0tgun, behind the Olympia. It makes an excellent backup, and the magazine makes for a quick reload.
My favorite weapon is the Bryson 890, I actually prefer using Slug Rounds too because they’re more fun and actually have some advantages over regular shells
12 round slugs
Bryson choke
Sawed off mod
VLK Laser
5 round mag
Makes this weapon far more mobile and snappier then most shot gun or marksman rifle builds
Are you going to be doing videos for all the pistols? i'd love to see your builds for them, maybe an all around biuld and an akimbo build?
This is my favorite shotgun in-game. High movement speed for rushing corners on tight maps is essential for this gun to be OP.
It’s quite fun to use this gun. Just pop a 5 round mag with no stock and a barrel that increases your movement speed, and you can around like a maniac so fast.
with the right attachments you run faster with this shotgun than with a knife you should try that out, its crazy.
My hip fire build is a menace for sure, not as good as the 800 but sure the reload times are insane.
you should have mentioned that the stockless pistol grip and sawed off mod improve hip recoil control dramatically - which actually means that your hipfire spread doesn't flare out when moving on the ground, only when jumping, and slightly when turning.
this IMO comes with nearly no downside since the bryson shotguns are generally hipfire-oriented shotguns, so the aiming penalties don't feel very bad, and the aiming recoil control is basically a non-downside since your aim recenters before your second shot can fire, typically. I'd basically always suggest running the stockless mods
You also could have mentioned that this weapon is capable of the fastest sprinting speed in the game, better than the knife or fennec or shorty 800 if you use all the speed-boosting attachments. the barrel, stock, magazine, and pump all have attachments that boost movement speed above any other weapon's available thresholds. and it does so while still maintaining pretty good hipfire performance!
To be honest, I love this gun it is one of my favorite shotguns in my opinion
I knew it was underrated.
I'm confused, does the" tighter pellet spread" attachments tighten ads spread more aggressively than they do the hip fire? Because they do certainly impact the hip fire, and the base hipfire is the same as base ads on this gun, but I've never seen a hipfire as tight as that modified ads spread you showed
Imo I'd take the faster reload on the 890 over the small range and accuracy difference to the 800. I think skill can make up that gap, with shotguns you can learn fairly fast, and when you do you'll realize how important it is to have a full mag.
For hipfire build the Lockwood is my choice, being hipfire you have a less chance of a 1-shot kill, so that fire rate is key. The rest of the attachments build for sprint to fire speed and range.
*Will you be doing the Launchers as well?*
you can build it to have the fastest sprintspeed of all guns in the game (dont know how it compares to the knife because with knife you can tacsprint twice as long)
About what you were saying about the hip fire on shotguns being inconsistent, I gotta disagree, I got the Bryson 800 gold and only ADS'd a handful of times.
I'd love to see the monstrous KS-23 4-gauge shotgun in this game.
That's a war crime
@@firerain2146 Best crime
People already cry about Brysons. A 4 gauge would wake the whole nursery.
@@helios92x26 Good
@@AlastorTheNPDemon problem is they almost always listen to the crybabies when they complain about shotguns. Look at how much worse the shotguns got from MW to MW2, the Lockwoods is worse in every way from the 725 and the Bryson is much worse than the 680.
@TheXclusiveAce Am I wrong or have you done the handgun gun guides???
Can you do a video on shadow bans and how busted the report system is?
What about high velocity ammo? How much velocity does it lose if we tune for recoil? any testings on this?
Tbh it feels more consistent to me than the 800 plus getting the max range is easier while having a faster ads then the 800 plus the 8 and 12 round mags are so good.
I actually prefer this one over the Bryson 800. I feel sluggish when I use the 800 plus I hate that almost all the barrels for the 800 increase pellet spread vs the 890 they all give a tighter spread.
Hello man great video. Please i need answer i cant find anywhere else. Is having big bullet velocity like 1300-1400 have any advantage when target is 50m away only. Like having 100 ping vs 20?
at that distance it's like a 5 millisecond difference from like 700
Small mistake on the range plotes in the build - you have not changed the TTK for the faster fire rate :)
im surprised you dont show a hip fire spread circle with attachments similar to the ads spread. You only have the base hip fire reticle
For me, the biggest benefit of the 890 over the 800 is the handling and movement speeds. The mag is actually more of a drawback than a benefit unless you're using the short mag.
Leveling this gun up has been the bane of my existence. I find it way harder to use than the other shotguns, for some reason.
Out of curiosity how many shells do you fire to get the spread for shotguns? The visual you provide makes it appear like one shot which would make the randomness of the pellots potentially seem like the standard and makes me wonder if those were just accurate shots. I would love to know how many times you shoot or if you could add this in moving forward.
One, Bc the spread is always random and you only need one shot. It's only used as an example. There is no fixed pattern for shotguns. Getting a target within the tightest possible grouping is the best way to use it. Basically, it will fill that circle the more shots you shoot. IRL you'd probably get some flyers or pellets that land outside the grouping.
@@Honeneko. I feel like the chart is miss leading to me at least. A bigger sample size say 5 shots or so could make those outlier pellets either less egregious with the randomness of the spread, or it could show that while the spread is tight you can still get the one-off pellet that goes off into left field.
@@kylecreech7183 I guess he could include numerical stats instead; a size grouping at whatever range. Or a Wall Test, like when he showcases recoil for other guns.
feels bad dragon's breath got hit so hard when it was only an issue on the broadside
Didn't they nerf the Bryson Choke recently? That pallet-spread picture looks like the pre-nerf version.
I prefer this to 800
pistol setup guide??
No Tuning Suggestions?
890 is definitely the better of the 2 bryson shotguns for slug builds, but is worse otherwise.
If they were smarter, they could simply have the detachable magazine as an attachment to Bryson 800 and just have a completely different pump shotgun.
Crazy idea: A full auto shotgun, but it's a slamfire shotgun instead of a traditional AA-12 or something like that.
How would that work in game tho, it would just be a normal full auto there’s no huma error in game
Like an Ithaca 37 or something?
@@MiketheNerdRanger Yes exactly
@@Avengeddeath856 you're able to regenerate after being shot countless times, I think we can bend the rules of reality for the sake of the game
@@ryanchong9965 I agree, but how would they make it slam fire, because no one can do it consistently all the time
They nerfed all hip fire builds for shottys. They will be missed
I still can't stand the ads spread of slugs in this one man. It drives me nuts how 30m or more you still potentially can miss with slugs. I get the poor velocity, and bullet drop over distance, but spread too?
@5:33 Still don’t believe in Engagement Optimized Damage Profiles? 😂
Of course not and I don't see how that is supposed to change my mind. I didn't take the time to fully ADS which you need to at that range and I expected to take 2 shots there. If I was fully aimed down sight and centered nicely on target, it would've been a one shot kill. In that situation, the gun worked exactly how the stats suggest it should.
tbh this shotgun is literally an attachment for Bryson 800
I heavily recommend the sawed off grip over the stockless pistol grip. The sight alignment while ads strafing is way better with the sawed off grip.
When you strafe with the pistol grip, the front sight goes completely outside of the rear ring.
I’ve never understood why is slugs are inaccurate like they would not be broken if they were accurate
Smash
no
Huh? How come the 890 reload is better than 800? You can shoot while reloading with 800
Just got to the last gun in the game and I've already stopped playing it😂😂
I try to use shotguns but just cant. I refuse to use the broadside and run around randomly spamming it and the others are useless unless youre playing on a map the size of a closet. They are fun but just made so weak in these games.
They shouldn’t have nerfed dragons Breathe to the ground Cuhz it looks cool very disappointing
The 890 is meh burger. Would rather painstakingly resort to the Broadside or even the Expedite over it.
Yay... another shotgun video.......
We’re you playing against bots? How come I never get lobbies like that!
Seams legit😅
Use slugs and 5 round mags and you’re no better than 90% of SPR208 users lol
Hate it. Its inconsistent as fuck imo.
Magfed pump shotguns are so god damn ugly, I can’t use it because I can’t even look at it
I was thinking about playing again, then they released the Shredder skin… what’s next? Cobra Commander, maybe He-Man?? Or hell, why not add the turtles 🐢 and Master Splinter?? 🐀
What a stupid ass game.
I like the 890 better cause it’s quicker. Both are solid tho
