Yea this thing is my pride and joy, it hurt my soul when they nerfed the super tight hip fire spread
It was way too strong, now it's still the best shotgun in the game but it's not that far ahead of the others

@@Chromefall Well, just remember that with their battle pass system we can see any number of different guns in the categories be popping up. I mean, we've gotten some surprise challenge guns that aren't even mid season content that wasn't stated previously in past games. So.
The KSG would be really cool, the dual tube magazines leave a lot of room for cool customization options. Wanna run all buckshot for the full 14 round capacity? Go ahead. Wanna mix it up and do half slug and half dragon's breath? Go for it
@@Pattamatt1998 While interesting mechanically, it's something that could really screw with the balancing of the game, and possibly not even really be viable in the coding to run that level of active stat modification. And in the case of slugs, change the literal projectile type since the games run actual projectiles. Buck the DB, could *Maybe* work. Though I think it'd be far more trouble on the coding end if viable at all to be able to mix slugs in with a buckshot type. Maybe slugs and explosive slugs at best.
I freaking love this shotgun you can get some seriously long range 1 shots when ads, it just feel the most consistent of all the shottys!
Would be interesting to see how the Masterkey shotgun compares to the primary ones
It's far less reliable for range, but close and short range it's honestly strong. I like using it on guns that I can't fund a good 5th attachment due to lack of barrel/stock selection. I wonder if ammo turning now buffs the master key too
It's freaking brutal inside of a small room or nearby a door when you hear an enemy coming. Still best to double tap everyone though.
It's an attachment, so you can bet they nerfed it into China.

I specifically want the KSG to be added to the game so that we can have as small as a 2+2 capacity or as much as a 12+12. I would love to see the variety of builds it could bring to the game. Also, imagine if it had a separate ammo slot for each tube and being able to switch between them with the fire-mode.
Bryson 800 is based on Mossberg 590 shotgun
i thought it was the remington 870

Do you plan on doing guides for the launchers/melee/shield? I suppose there wouldn't be as much to really talk about, but for the sake of doing *every gun* may be worth. If anything you could do all the launchers in 1 video, and all the melee/shield in 1 video
I don't know how to tell you, but it didn't take me long to flip the coin on whether it's the best or worst pump shotgun... considering you have 2 pump shotguns choices lol
Personally, the Bryson 800 is my favorite shotgun in the game. Decent one shot kill range and if I use the 29.5” barrel it can conquer long range kills, but not much as the Lockwood 300.
but the fact that you dont need to reload as often + you can actually reload cancel after each round is a BIG advantage over the lockwood
After making a kill or two, I can reload some shells into the gun, get back in the action, and then repeat the same process.
So would the under Barrel shotgun attachment count in this category
Can you please do hipfire spread with attachments comparison also? There are a lot of players prefer hipfire only shotgun classes including me
What is the diference between the Saw off mod and the pistol grip?
Can you do a guide on the muzzles for shotguns? I really hate the in game stats
What about high velocity ammo? How much velocity does it lose if we tune for recoil? any testings on this?

I want to like the 29 inch barrel but it removes the sights and I'm not confident with it
My most used gun in the game by far with about 5k kills with an identical set up to this prior but the hip fire spread was ridiculous before it got nerfed
the weapon with the most kills for me. this thing SHREDS. bryson choke, go for ADS and go HAM

question on shotguns regarding ads spread. while you are aiming in but not fully ads does the spread tighten partially?

This is my favourite primary weapon in the game, it's so much fun.
Would have liked a hip fire build, but very interesting as always.
HIpfire is useless on shotguns in this game, don't even bother unless you're in spanking range.
The hipfire nerf for shotguns hit hard. It's still doable, you can get 10m OHKs but it used to be much better.
That was my first mastery gun!
For the slug build I’d replace the optic with the Sawed Off Mod. You often need to treat Slug weapons like you’re quick scoping and faster ADS is pretty essential. Not to mention you can one shot anywhere in the entire torso up to 16 meters with this build so you don’t have to be super specific with your aim
I also don’t think the benefits of the Rifle Barrel really improve this weapon all that much compared to the insane ADS it adds. I really like the Agent Grip with its great boost to Hip Fire Accuracy helps you a lot for when you REALLY need to quick and have to fire before you’re fully ADS
My build would be Bryson Choke, Slugs, Sawed off Mod, VLK Laser, Demo Firewall Barrel or Agent Grip
Sawed-off ruins your aiming stability, your aim shaking so much is a massive problem for a oneshot weapon.
I did that for longshots but put a vlk on it. Slugs kinda go everywhere
@@blackomega34 it doesn’t really matter if you treat it like a quick scoping weapon rather then a sniper. It should be used more like an aggressive marksman rifle and not a camping weapon
@@ryankelly1846 I could be wrong but I feel like it’s a lot better now then it used to be back then. You really wanna make sure your Tight Pellet Spread is all the way up because that’s what determines that. Bullet Velocity and Idle Stability also go a long way with this

This needs a buff to its base range by about 2-3m and it’ll be good. Same goes for all the other shotguns except the Broadside
What's the difference between the two pistol grips? Are they the same stats but visually different? Because that's what it seems like.
They have the same stats, but the sawed off grip is better, because the rear and front sights stay more aligned when you strafe.
It makes less difference if you go with a setup without the rear sight ring, but it still helps a bit when your gun isn't oriented at an angle from you.
I watch these gun guides and wonder if I’m even playing the same game. When I was grinding camo’s I would have some games that it would take 3-4 shots to get a kill. Getting Gold and Platinum on the Bryson’s was hands down the most infuriating gaming experience I’ve ever had. This is saying a lot considering my gaming lifestyle began in 1985 with my uncle’s old Atari.
I really don't like this shotgun so far, only have it on level 13 though, shoots slow and terrible damage
what about hardcore? should i go for a wider pellet spread and if so, how many pellets do I have to hit for a kill, just one at any rage as long as i can hit them?
I don't think Ace covers hardcore because in private lobbies hardcore settings behave differently to public lobbies, so he said he wouldn't cover hardcore due to the inconsistency.

I like to rock the shorty barrel and sawed-off stock with slugs, bryson choke and optic. It’s a little monster on shipment, don’t knock it til you try it.
@XclusiveAce The stockless/pistol grip has less recoil control. Won't that affect recoil while ADS?
You need to rechamber a round each shot so recoil is more or less negligible. Recoil attachments are more suited to automatics and semi-automatics in some cases.
@@ryanchong9965 I hope so - because I plan to have an Overkill loadout with both Brysons when I attempt a shotty nuke on Shipment. Having your gun ads and suddenly jump up from kick in the middle of the screen is a pain.
@@TheIntratec9 hard-scoping with shotguns isn't the best play since the whole point of no-stock attachments is for mobility. If you really want shotguns built around ADS, I would recommend slugs and tightening up the spread like Ace does.
For the most part, if you really are hard-scoping, you'll need time to recenter/reaquire targets so recoil control is negligable on a bolt/pump action.
@@ryanchong9965 True - I just don't want to constantly deal with the ADS lag of aiming and reaiming in between pumps, while maintaining a controllable spread that buckshot provides over slugs.
Its also the only shotgun i can semi consistently get headshots with, does anyone know how shotgun headshots actually work?

What? The ads spread on slug build is like wider than the hipfire slug spread on my build? What the heck?
It seems that they're giving a fair bit of balance and tweaking to the weapons and other aspects. As a cod fan boy, i ate my words when i expected this game to be perfect from the start. However, im genuinely starting to really get back into it with some of the changes they're adding throughout the season.
How can you have a pellet spread when using slugs? A slug is a solid lead bullet fired, it does not contain pellets. A slug essentially converts the shotgun into a large-caliber rifle
Another great build is the shorty... insane movement speed with the last barrel but also a respectable 1 shot range. Big downside is only 3 rounds, but so much fun to have in your back pocket for running around the map and swapping to in close range
I don’t know what it is about this gun. I use the exact same set up as the all around build and it’s just so inconsistent. I almost always ADS and I’ll get hit markers at like point blank range all the time. Maybe skill based damage is real?

When it comes to slugs it’s much better to build/treat it like an aggressive Marksman rifle rather then trying to play defensive with it. You really wanna focus on ADS/Sprint to fire, Tight Pellet Spread, and Movement Speed
I understand the really good benefits of the Rifle Barrel but you can’t Hipfire Slugs like you can Pellets so it’s much more essential to not have a slow ADS so you can out speed your opponent and win 1vs1 situations consistently. My build is

I don't even run a barrel on this, 14 meters was as far as I stretched it on MW2019, so it's default range is more than enough for me

This is actually the BEST shotgun in the game lol.
Back when the new shotgun came out and everyone was spamming it as if it was THAT good. I countered with the 800. Completely outclassed the other spammy shotgun so long as you can aim.

Don't see the appeal of this when you have to ads and treat it like a Marksman Rifle. Before the dragon's breath nerf you could actually use it like a shotgun and it was fun

The SPAS12 might be set up for semi-auto though. Would be cool if you could toggle between that and pump action. Or maybe using the pump action version let's you use special or magnum shells.

Before they nerfed the hip fire spread for all shotguns, this gun was head above shoulders for one shot hipfire kills, then they added that stupid spammy shotgun…

The Bryson 800 is my go to Everytime on any small to medium sized map. Just amazing in closet to mid range engagements. Too bad shotguns have piss poor aim down sight speed and range with slugs being the exception. I still manage to get it done and you always hear the haters talking mad shit about using a shotgun and I just laugh and they get even more pissed off. I served in the army and in close engagements and breaching buildings NOTHING is more terrifying than a grunt with a scatter gat. Ask the Germans how well they worked in trenches. Close to mid range the firepower is tremendous. Cry all ya want when the situation calls for close combat I'm grabbing the shotgun. Just wish they'd be more realistic with the shotguns in cod. Buckshot should be lethal to 40 yds slugs 80 to 100. But you got cry babies who scream too OP too OP. Well if you knew anything about them you know yea they're pretty fuckin good. Shit black ops 4 nerfed the shotgun so bad you practically had to bury the muzzle in the other players character just to hit them. Had like a 2 ft range. Not to mention on mw2 they're choke system is all backwards full choke is very open and improved is really tight? Lol cod knows nothing. Still gonna use it lol laugh at all the hate. Still made they won't add a 1911...in 45acp.

I wonder how much randomness there is with the shogun spreads in this game.
While there is some degree of randomness, they're actually fairly consistent overall.
And of course when you say that you like the 10v10 and hope it makes the maps play so much better…they remove it lmao Infinity Ward is a joke now
They nerfed this gun into the ground. It’s a shell of its former glory. Absolute hit marker machine.

I got to that conclusion when you said the range was equal to the Lockwood 300, which makes no sense at all
When I see something like "+148ms ADS TIME", I can't find words to describe how dumb that is. Maybe add 10 seconds to ads time, because why not?
The rifled barrel has excellent iron sights as is and I recommend not even bothering with an optic and using your final attachment elsewhere or not at all.
Where as Ace enjoys stretching out to 15 meters and one shotting people, I've had no issues iron sight doinking snipers at 40+.
All around build is nice but the Pistol grip is wayy Sexier
That all around class is the only way to run it. You need speed more than anything with this gun. The grips and suppressors slow you down too much.

I really dose feel like anything with the "Lockwood" brand is code for "Style over Substance", but I want my wood pump and heat shield for a proper trench gun look.
As for the 890, It may not be the best, but I think it's "Handy". When a heli comes in on DMZ explosive slug and anti-armor rounds in a quick swap mag is really handy. Having a 12 round mag to just suppress a corner with 1 shot buckshot is handy. making a speedy pump action build without lowering your mag to 3 rounds is handy. I don't know that's my comment.
