I learned this a month back when I got tired of tampering with the M4 and the Kastovs and just said screw it let’s use the LMS and immediately I felt like a god lol I was surprise how well it was doing and even better no one else was using this gun. I quickly learned that with just a few upgrades this gun was pretty much unstoppable at short to mid range! It has fast enough kill time that you’re still competitive but also still challenges you to actually use skill that you’re still having fun unlike just using the stupid meta weapon like everyone else. And the added bonus when you hear someone go “Wtf he killed me with that? What’s that gun?!” Lol
First time using the LM-S I got the biggest complement from the other team, they called me a cheating camper. I may have been camping 🏕, but definitely not cheating. Haha. Here enemy team, hold this L.
I personally had a really easy time doing the headshot camo challenge with the canted laser on the LM-S on PC. Basically gear attachments to maximize ADS and just sprint around with it; turn on the center-dot for the UI and use a similar method to a quick-scope
@@lunchpin403 close to mid yea. The default Lachmann 762 barrel and stock, the recoil control pistol grip, 20 round mag, and you can run either high velocity ammo (my personal choice) or an optic if you prefer.
If this is closer to the FAL than the EBR I’m going to have to start running this. I haven’t really played w any marksman other than the lockwood. One shots w the lockwood too satisfying.

I really like the short magnitude of the recoil and the recentering time. Thats the most important thing with semi autos. Thats why i have so many problems with the P890 for example, because i fire to fast before the gun recenters and i probably aim to high.
This is the main gun I use other than the HK33, and I use it aggressively like you said. I honestly love it, and I was never sure why people didn't like it. Even at medium range as a counter-sniper of sorts with a red dot optic it's pretty effective at aimpunching snipers before they have a chance to shoot you.
This gun was surprisingly fun to use for camos. Might get a spot in my loadouts when I'm finished with everything, but it'll be competing against a couple of the other marksman/battle rifles.
After a long and painful time grinding out the TAQ-M I was dreading the LM-S but I was very very pleasantly surprised. The ROF is very pleasant and juuust fast enough to be a viable and comfortably powerful mid range gun
I enjoy this gun a lot! It's really powerful in the midrange, with 2 shots, where most one-shot marksman rifles become 2 shots anyways! It feels really good to use. The EBR-14 is solid, but this one improves on that!
Hey mate, have you considered doing a muzzle attachment guide? seeing how there's tons of silencers, compensators and (less usefull) flash hiders. I'd be interested in knowing what silences in particular (for wz/dmz) are good regarding bullet velocity, ranges etc
The way I see it, you can play it aggressively like the FTAC, while still being able to kill efficiently at decent distances. 1-hit headshots are still useful in maps with heavy cover. It's great in the Hotel with the ranges capped a bit, and running around on Border Crossing with all the cover.

I've slept on this gun and left it too last for gold. OMG i now love this gun I was really surprised. I just love running around 2 tapping with it, Ive taught myself to do that even though quite often the first bullet does the job. reason being in some cases by the time ive realised my first bullet missed the head and re-fire ive missed my window. so i two tap everything just to be sure. Gun seems to put the work in for me and is perhaps a little more forgiving for me being a 51yr old has been. I measure effectiveness by playing custom matches with 6 bots and see how many i can kill in 10 minutes, noting my K/D at the end and so far this gun is in the lead, even over the Marksman or AR meta. I dont allow myself to use any kilstreaks in these matches in order to improve my reaction times and also fora true like for like comparison at the end. Im looking forward to tyring out your loadout and have been very much enjoying your content..Thank you (defo my favorite tuber) ps - the recoil pattern works for me too lol, As i cannot seem to train myself to quick ADS the head, the first bullet hits the torso and the second finds the head as long as I follow it up super quick. Win win :)
Try the Cronen Dark KX30(flash hider) on this gun, you'll definitely love it. It provides enough Recoil Stabilization for consistent recoil. I find it more fitted than any other compensators.
My favorite gun in the game especially for Search and Destroy. If you put the suppressor that increases the range on it you get one shot headshot at any range for all 6v6 maps. Edit: I tend to love using the worst guns I'm most COD's btw Dragunov and WA2000 and VKS to name a few I love.
Weird, I used all range attachments and it was 2 shots to the head at what you could consider long range. The longshot wall in shoot house for example, from wall to wall it's 2 shots.
@@StevenWithoutTheT it's very possible that that's just outside the range but I've had no problem with one shot headshots with it unless I miss the first shot. Then the follow up shot is a lot harder to hit. I'll have to try and see if I can hit one shots at the location you're talking about.

.50 and LMS are both great for that. Lachmann 762 can work too, but the 1 shot kill range is only a little better than the P890. For 2 shot kill, Taq56 is beast.
I'm stunned people think this is a bad gun! Had a blast with it, even built a CoD4 G3 setup with the 20 rounder, classic Red Dot, and Blue Tiger... still surprisingly good 🤣
Playing mostly Invasion and a little DMZ this gun felt a little underwhelming when compared to say the SPR-208, but its not a bad gun. Might be interesting to build and use it as a battle rifle.
I would never use the LMS in core game modes but it is gross in Tier 1. It is my favorite primary gun for Tier 1 as it one shots at any range. I use it with the Ares Clearshot sniper scope with the red dot toggled most of the time, but switch to the 7x for cross map shots. It's better than all of the snipers in Tier 1 and I can play aggressive too if needed.

Thanks! No mistake, this is a common misconception with TTK. The first shot starts the timer so it's eliminated from the equation and this is why you see it double when going from a 2 to a 3 shot kill.
This is one of my favorite things to use in snd and just headshot people and make them mald this and slug shotguns make people mad even though pretty much any other gun is better
my only dissapoint for PSG-1 is it have too few reverse ammo for DMZ (same ammo pool with Snipers, only 40 at max) while damage is not much better than Battle rifle against AI (Battle rifle use same ammo pool with Assault Riffle, 210 at max) , make it almost worthless to bring in DMZ. Same thing happen with EBR14.
but why should I use it over the lachmann 762 which has a similar damage profile and more attachment flexibility? just the additional range? it feels like it's generally not going to be worth the tradeoffs.
A couple of the battle rifles feel significantly better as aggressive 2 shot kill machines, and most people still don't seem to like using BRs in that role. I think it's way better than the TAQ-M though. The rof is straight up terrible, and it's other qualities just don't come close to redeeming it.
I use the lachman 762 often and it has a faster rof/TTK than the lms but has harder recoil and tends to be more inconsistent. And it doesn't have the amazing 2 shot range like the marksman rifles do.

I never played vanguard but the one thing I do miss about it is the 10 attachments on every gun. It might have been a pain to balance but it was fun af. This pick 5 shit is stale to me.
Hi Ace at least on the TAQ-V it appears the short barrel directly reduces damage and the Kastovia DX90 suppressor does as well according to their stats - could you please look into this? Edit: oh man it appears that even the revolver barrels do this too
If you are referring to the damage bar, it doesn't reduce the damage it deals. Same goes for when the bar gets longer. Currently the only exceptions to this are the One-Tap mod for the AUG and the 2-Tap mod for the Vector. (and other magazine attachments that change how the gun works)
@@potetobloke4731 If you equip the short barrel on the revolver it's no longer a one tap to the chest. Maybe I just got really unlucky but if you experience that then that's something.

This gun is criminally underrated. Very similar to the FTAC Recon in play style, but uses a different ammo pool in DMZ.
I've had great success with this one. I run it with the G3 standard barrel, laser sight to improve ADS, and a hybrid optic and it really shines.

Ace, the TV Wrecker grip reduces idle sway more than the FSS Sharkfin with no penalties.

I’d never use the canted on this. Just used a red dot or hybrid for Warzone, it’ll be fine.

Wa2000 is honestly underrated if you ask me, I also tend to enjoy the more niche or bad guns or just go Pistol/Sidearm only.
The WA2000 was not even close to being the worst gun in MW2

Feel wise, it's pretty chonky. Just wish it felt more nimble.
This gun is also fantastic in Tier 1 play. Load it up with ADS speed attachments and tune for ADS and it's an insanely fast ADS 1-shot to the body.

Went 75-10 in Tier 1 Hardpoint on Taraq with this gun it was awesome
definitely is, I got my PB highest amount of kills by using it on shipment with the canted laser (112 kills)

Tier 1 is 50 dmg so any one two shot kill gun will pretty much 1 shot for atleast 30 meters

LM-S is not based on PSG1 is actually based on a new weapon in the franchise is SR9 [TC] marksman rifle

I always cover any changes in great detail when they happen. It would be impractical to re-do entire Gun Guide episodes

I never played vanguard but the one thing I do miss about it is the 10 attachments on every gun. It might have been a pain to balance but it was fun af.

Hi Ace at least on the TAQ-V it appears the short barrel directly reduces damage and the Kastovia DX90 suppressor does as well according to their stats - could you please look into this? Edit: oh man it appears that even the revolver barrels do this too
If you are referring to the damage bar, it doesn't reduce the damage it deals. Same goes for when the bar gets longer.
Currently the only exceptions to this are the One-Tap mod for the AUG and the 2-Tap mod for the Vector. (and other magazine attachments that change how the gun works)
@@potetobloke4731 If you equip the short barrel on the revolver it's no longer a one tap to the chest. Maybe I just got really unlucky but if you experience that then that's something.
Already have it platinum. Awesome gun.
