I miss the old subsonic ammunition. Yes, it generally had the same disadvantages (less damage range, less bullet speed, more recoil) but the advantage of this ammunition was that, in addition to not showing the skulls of downed enemies, it canceled the "tracer" animation and of "smoke" when firing (In MWll, even though the subsonic ammunition overrides the tracer animation, the smoke animation is still visible)
Either the ISO smg from MW19 is coming back to be part of the ISO platform or they won't bring it back at all. Feels like they had an opportunity to get two new guns into season 2 straight away.
Not necessarily look at the Tempus Torrent its an AR platform and is based on the SR-25 7.62×51mm it will most likely be part of the M4 platform in MWII So I can see them adding the ISO SMG/BT APC9 later in the game
@@RobbyBoy2000 that's a different situation, since the SR-25 wasn't in MW2019. The ISO had the same damage model as the BAS-P, they have 17m and 16m for their primary damage range, and they have 882rpm vs 870rpm, making them the slowest firing SMG with that damage model in their respective games. If they bring back the APC9, it won't be the same ISO that we previously had. It will be a fundamentally different gun for gameplay purposes.
Ive noticed when I tune recoil just over 80% leaving 20% left the recoil is almost perfect for close to mid range and the muzzle climb will naturally bump up and shoot them in the face after 2 clavical shots if their still alive
In terms of ranked it’s honestly broken and just a better 7.62 but the upside of the 7.62 is it’s 2shot headshot multiplier and tbf that gun shouldn’t be allowed in ranked with the ttk for getting a free 2shot in the head

It seems that one upside for the 300 blackout rounds is the potential of killing with 1 headshot + 1 upper torso shot up close (57 + 43 = 100). Might be a very compelling reason to use that ammo type, similar to one of the strengths of the Chimera or Taq-V.
Hi Ace, it was interesting to learn that you test velocity via the tracer effect. I'm thinking you could test subsonic by setting up deployable cover, and shooting it with a range finding optic. Then you can derive velolcity based on the number of frames before you get the hit marker from hitting the deployable cover. Thoughts?
New gun looks decent gameplay wise but I wish they'd introduce more visually distinctive guns. Really hoping we get a G36 platform (maybe including UMP in the SMG slot) but not holding my breath.
I know you don't play Warzone, but could you mention briefly during damage sections how long it would take to kill a 3 plate enemy (250 hp)? Would help a lot for us warzone dummies
There is a glitch that IW needs to fix: Even though you can equip the regular blackout ammo attachment on the weapon, you cannot use any of its special variations as of yet even though you may have unlocked them with the Chimera. You can still use all of the 5.56 ammo variations on the weapon and it fixed the 5.56 incendiary round bug by requiring you to reach level 26 with the weapon itself.
As somebody that does gunsmith work in real life, I guarantee somebody is gonna try running 300 blackout in there 5.56 because of this game and blow there shit up..
So far it's my favorite gun in MWII. I thought people were lost when they said it was the ACR until I unlocked the stock that looks like the SCAR (kinda). When you put that stock on it it looks almost exactly like the old school ACR. Still waiting for the UMP 45 though lol

So they add a top tier AR but nerf the Minibak twice in a row and make it almost useless. It was such an interesting gun... I hope they at least buff it a bit again.
I have been using this gun on resurgence and it destroys people at any range, this is the setup/class: - holotherm - series-4 mr - echoless-80 (tune for max bullet velocity) - 45mag - vx pineapple Definitely can be improved but like this works 10/10
use the lockwood precision 40 instead of the vx pineapple, it has the same recoil reduction just without the movement penalties, otherwise its a great build also you can try swapping the series4 barrel for high velocity round or to an ads strafe stock since barrels in this game usually dont really offer that many positives

Hey Ace, I noticed you use the FSS OLE-V laser in a lot of set-ups, but do you not worry about the beam giving away your position? I mean obviously it doesn't affect you much but I imagine it could be a con for a lot of players.
I used to use lasers also but it was getting me killed especially when I needed to hold a position hold down ADS so I just remove them all and change my builds up. I do miss the extra speed they give though
@@Schpoo I'm a hardcore player. In hardcore you have 30 hp. You can look at the damage ranges for the gun and compute 1-2 shot kill range fairly easily. Though I agree with you, it would be nice if Ace included an image showing the values, as he did for guns in MW2019
Tip the ISO can by YY speed reloaded if you’ve not used the full clip. I’ma be honest you, could of saved you some time with this one, level1=god tier …… max level with attachments=free kills at any range it definitely feels way more op than the numbers show.

I think it's great, actually like it more than the M13 in terms of accuracy at long range with the right attachments. Been beaming people in DMZ in ranges way longer of what an assult rifle should be effective at.

If you wanna use any of the dlc weapons go offline go to local multiplayer and creat a blueprint with that weapon go back online and go to the weapon blueprint u made and hold L2 or LT to equip the gun it will say locked but it wont matter you have to hold L2 to equip!
This thing is nuts in semi auto. It's basically a DMR with AR handling stat, no recoil and crazy fast firerate. If you have a fast trigger finger give it a shot, it's crazy.
You don't need to buy the battlepass for the gun, just level it up, or do the glitch and play it online. It's pretty damn good but not as good as OP Kastovs.
All the weapons are free unlocks on the battle pass. I keep wondering why he has been making a point to say he's not buying the pass. It's one of the free spots. Took me two days of casual play to unlock. This seasons token speed is quick.
Having someone in DMZ drop you the weapon and exfiling with it unlocks the gun regardless of BP progress. Don't need to stay in the game just immediately exfil.
I really like this one but I struggled with the iron sights. Something about them just made me feel like I couldn't see anything and couldn't line up on target

This gun is way better than stats say I know you haven't used it in MP maps but when you can I would highly suggest either the 300 rounds or high velocity rounds with the T-50/70 barrel whatever it's called at work so can't check then add speed attachments I promise this is one of the best guns in the game
On PS5, launch the game as normal. Once you reach the game mode screen, disconnect from internet from your PS5 menu. Look and then launch local multiplayer. Back out to PS5 menu and then reconnect to internet. Rejoin the local multiplayer, now you will be able to select any locked guns, save a mod using L2. Go to multiplayer (online mode), on your loadout, you can hover over the locked weapon, hold L2 to equip the previously saved mod. This will allow you to use the locked gun now.
The gun is decent in multiplayer but in DMZ it absolutely shreds the bots. Will definitely be running this as my main gun and cant wait to unlock that 45 round mag
It’s almost a re skinned taq-56 from season zero, before any nerfs. The iso is really good in DMZ, but it has a few downsides. First would be slow reload from empty, and second would be that the 45 round mag is glitched and doesn’t work for DMZ. It drops the ai super quick, even the tier 3 armored ai. You just have to be super aware of ammo, and hit reload before it goes completely empty.

You can put the 300 blackout rounds fron the chimera blueprint superheat on the iso and get the tracer rounds from the blueprint on the iso

It's probably not coming back. The MPX (BAS-P) mostly stole its stats.

If he doesn’t, it’s not a biggie. Any gun that does 30 damage or more will be a one shot. This one shots up to the second damage range.

you can easily obtain the new guns if you have a friend who has them or ground loot with DMZ extract. It unlocks them for you.

B&T makes great guns and it's cool to see the APC556 in MW2022. The APC9 was in MW2019 as the ISO

You can use the version that doesn't show the beam but you lose some ADS time and the sprint to fire time
it's only when you're ADS, so unless you're camping it's usually not a problem

Liking the gun very much so far. TTK i on the slower side, but consistency feels great.

Idk what it is but with 300 blackout this gun is ridiculous. It feels like the damage of a TAQ V but with the recoil of a TAQ 56.

Go to multiplayer (online mode), on your loadout, you can hover over the locked weapon, hold L2 to equip the previously saved mod. This will allow you to use the locked gun now.
Works on Xbox too + it lets you level it up as well.
Also works with any gun, even the crossbow
The gun is decent in multiplayer but in DMZ it absolutely shreds the bots. Will definitely be running this as my main gun and cant wait to unlock that 45 round mag
I don't understand why they made weapon platforms but with the ISO they go back to the MW19 system with ammo conversions.
I am boycotting the battle pass (this season) because you were asking in a nice manner.
You can unlock the gun for mp if you manage to pick one up from a dead player in dms and successfully extract.
Watch them remove new guns from private matches in the next season

This Gun feels very similar to the TAQ-56 for some reason
It’s almost a re skinned taq-56 from season zero, before any nerfs. The iso is really good in DMZ, but it has a few downsides. First would be slow reload from empty, and second would be that the 45 round mag is glitched and doesn’t work for DMZ. It drops the ai super quick, even the tier 3 armored ai. You just have to be super aware of ammo, and hit reload before it goes completely empty.
More recoil makes sense, .223(5.56mm) is a smaller projectile than .300
This ISO is a beast in shredding those bots 😀

Surprised that the stats are just average at best. This gun feels amazing. Just very consistent and accurate, but not slow at all.

if you need the hemlock unlocked i can drop it for you in DMZ, it does work. i think a DMZ build needs silencer
