Also snakeshot is broken on the kit, so the added range doesnt work and the snakeshot cant 1 shot like it can with the base pistol (no akimbo) ill also point out i tested this and am 100% sure base pistol can 1 shot without akimbo. The whole point of the kit would be to get a longer ranged version of the shotgun pistol, that of which can outreach the akimbo and base at the cost of mobility. It would be pretty awesome to see it use snakeshot and 1 shot to lower torso, arms or upper body if you will at the cost of range. In other words, i want it to be able to compete with the base shotgun class guns and function similarly. This kit really seems like a knockoff longbow and i was hoping that by making snakeshot function alongside the beholder kit it would allow the gun to be more fitting into multiple loadouts (shotgun or rifle)
The Scarlet Laser + Akimbo + paired firing allows you to get some crazy hipfire one shots at obscene ranges. The key is that you have to remain still for the reticle to reach nearly 0 degrees.
The fact that the TYR has a better OSK range than the SAB-50 and Lockwood MK2 is so ridiculous. They neutered the hell out of the Bolt/Lever action Marksman rifles in this game.

I noticed that marksman rifles are crap in warzone mobile where they were absolute god tier in cod mobile. I still like to use them, but it's a LOT tougher to win against assault rifles than it used to be. Which, honestly, is probably more realistic, but this isn't a fucking simulator lol

Yeah it’s annoying af. I get it for the open bolt weapons (although think it’s prolly not needed for cod) but for the revolver I just don’t get it tbh like sure it’s a heavy trigger but there’s not a delay like with an open bolt gun
I think it just takes some time to get used to. I felt the same way, until I added the stock attachment or JAK Kit to reduce the recoil. Plus when you consistently get 1 shot kills to the head you often don't have to spam it.
I had this problem at first, tip for you that changed my life: remap the fire button to R1. Much better feeling than having to pull a trigger down. Just takes a few games to get used to so you stop throwing grenades when you want to shoot. Doesn't change the bolt delay but helps a lot with your actual trigger response. also what bro above me said about not needing to spam because you get 1 shot kills is very true.

JAK "Beholder" Kit + Snakeshot ammunition = Pocket MTs-255 Also, I would like to see the comeback of ShAK-12 (a.k.a. Oden from MW2019) after we got this revolver, which uses the same ammunition.
I think Snakeshots Akimbo is a bit of a red herring. Akimbo WITHOUT Snakeshots is the way to go with these. Snakeshot build has such a poor range and you have to put ALL pellets in the center mass or head in order to get the kill. Try taking Snakeshot off and believe me, you'll have much more fun with TYR Akimbo.
The Tyr, Longbow, and soon the BAS-B lever-action... I just wish they'd make the MK2 viable. If the BAS-B lever-action isn't as good as the MK2 was in MWII, then I don't see the point. Hoping it's good.
I kinda hate the Beholder kit. Everytime I try it, it seems like I get more hit markers than otherwise. I really wanted to like it too, but I just get more kills without it.
I hate the open bolt delay thing. Ik it has a longer trigger irl but still, when u pull the trigger all the way back the hammer goes forward and u shoot. Just like other guns. While with the open bolt it sorta makes sense since u have the big metal bolt going forward before u shoot. Idk always annoyed me with the revolvers since mw19
Can anyone tell me on how to unlock the longbow. I can not activate it as an armory challenge (already 5/5 complete). I even finished the tasks to unlock the jak conversion kit. Still, I can not equip the longbow (base version is locked). I played zombies for hours and haven’t found the longbow. Why is this bug still in the game. I have the same issue with the striker 9 and multiple other weapons…
How much damage does the shotgun attachment do? I wonder if its worth using the single tyr shotgun as a finisher weappn, basically switching to my pistol if I run out of ammo mid gunfight and using the shotgun spread to make hitting someone easier
If I remember correctly, it was roughly 100 DMG out to 8m with a well placed shot; from 8-12m, it was roughly 80DMG; and from 12-14m.5m it was ~30-70 DMG depending on how many pellets hit. These are just what I remember off the top of my head as I didn't feel it was necessary to save the exact values and I was just using them to calculate number of shots to kill within each range.

This gun at launch was basically unusable, i ignored it for ages until they buffed it because it was a slog to level up, so happy it's now not just another "crap tier gun"
It's balanced pretty well in my view and not OP. It's a high risk high reward weapon with a significant trigger delay to boot, so most people would prefer to run anything else.
This regular TYR has befn nerfed to an oblivion. Its still my most used weapon with 8k kills but i havent used it in over a month, its not the same, so inconsistent.
If I have attachments to be unlocked by Daily challenges/wins the game should track the next one available over some stupid emblem no one is going to equip
I have odin's fury in one class. Running a sniper replacement as my secondary on an smg build. The idle sway is pretty bad and that helps when you want a secondary to pull out to take out a long range target because the delay doesn't matter as much since you already have the drop on them but it guarantees you make that shot. I use the build on Terminal a lot to take out snipers before I run across outside or clear the kitchen behind C before moving in
Also, since you'd be running a scope on that class, having the delay plus better stability means it's even easier to preshoot and peak corners while scoped without any of the downsides like the negative sway from ullr's fury. It's nice for niche playstyles and better than the other triggers for clearing sightlines
The rifle kit after the buff is probably one of the most fun guns to use in the game imo
It would be way more fun if you could combine it with snakeshot, bit of a missed oppertunity there

I have a long sniper Tyr build I use, for when I want to grind out a shotgun or SMG - and *not* have to give up my vest choice.
An interesting way to rebalance the "Odin's Judgement" would be to have it with the smallest pre-fire delay but lowest rate of fire.
It's fun if you use it a lot and get snappy one shots with it as a backup weapon at close and medium range. It's high risk high reward however

So you experience a 90ms delay when you try to shoot the gun. You used that to calculate the real rate of fire but left it out of the ttk?
I left it out of the TTK for the first shot only since technically, TTK is calculated from the moment the first shot fires.
