    Armor piercing with no downsides is pretty damn strong. bullet penetration is really underrated imo.

      Yup they help a lot with these Old MW2 maps have heavy head glitch spots, Invasion especially is a perfect example.

      Does anyone know if armor piercing rounds have better bullet penetration than round nose? Came here to find that out. Armor has that giant arrow, round nose has a little single chevron. Wouldn’t know how to test 🤔

    Would love to see ace try experimenting these ammo types on Zombies. While i know its not his thing, I'm really curious if they can actually do anything to zombies.
    For instance, i always use Armor piercing on my guns in zombies due the fact that some of them are wearing armor.
    However if he tests it and finds it doesn't, it help free up my attachment slots.....
    I wish cod zombies let us use all the attachment slots on our weapons like they did in cold war zombies.

      It doesnt. There is no ammo type that is beneficial in zombies.

      @@joshua3630 I've found that does break armor faster if I end up in zone 2 without my insured gun pack a punched for some reason. Doesn't kill any faster. Also it does does increase your over penetration meaning you're hitting more zombies at once if they're grouped up. And don't quote me on this but I *Think* the AP goes through Mangler armor to do direct health damage. But since there's no point in shooting a mangler anywhere but the head or to bust the arm cannon. It doesn't really help that much aside from maybe hitting zombies that might be behind it as you're strafing around.

    Attachments that help horizontal recoil and hurt vertical recoil work really well with tac stance setups. I also noticed that different suppressors seem to have slightly different sound suppression characteristics. Not sure if this is player side only or if everyone hears it

      ...also, in my experience, suppressors 100% do different levels of sound suppression, not only octavely , when it comes to you, and other players nearby... but towards radar distancing as well, cus some suppressors don't completely eliminate your shot signatures on the HUD

    One kind of niche use for the hollowpoints that I've found is for smaller maps against melee players. I usually have a blueprint for the X13 saved with a large mag and hollowpoints so if I get rushed by a knifer I can quickly switch to that and slow them down. Extremely situational but it's made dealing with those often annoying players much easier.

      Actually is not that situational, there are plenty of players running and jumping around the maps, even when they don't carry knives. This ammo type is just incredibly useful against them. Those who jump around are even easier to hit, and it looks like they get frozen in the air for a while, which throws them off a lot. Easy kills against sweats.

    The MTZ interceptor with incendiary rounds is pretty good against streaks. I havent tested other weapons but it takes less than 20 rounds to take down helicopters, so per bullet its really good

    Really looking forward to the anti air class setup! I used yours back in MWII and it worked amazingly. Nobody really shoots down streaks in this game at it's current moment so being able to be the one to do the job will be nice. Don't really care for ammo types but pretty over it dealing with Hollow point rounds.

      I run a support setup if the rest of my team is good, engineers vest, stormender as secondary, target identification system, holotherm bas-b with smoke nades and smoke drop

    Maybe Round nose was suppose to be more like Vanguard Hollow Point; increases limb damage.

      I completely agree! Since the majority of the MWIII weapons don’t have a lot of visual recoil, I think everyone is going to use HV instead of a extra recoil/aim steadiness attachment

      Especially since some of +velocity barrels are borderline dogshit and give negative recoil. Still I think that's pretty awful, since this will be a crutch attachment.

    4 months later, I don't know if bullet penetration is bugged, or simply WAY underpowered. Even with the KATT-AMR equipped with AP/MONO rounds, it seems they only go through the lightest of cover, and without 1 shot killing. Getting Forged camo for it is a complete nightmare.

    I always run over pressurized. I'm best in close - medium range fights and it helps me win even if they get the first shot in. Great video, too. Subscribed!

    The damage clamp on incendiary ammo is disappointing. I don't even think it would be OP considering how rarely you would hit those magic numbers and the fact that it would be much faster to just shoot them 1 more time.
    My question is: Is incendiary ammo, more or less, a better frangible ammo? Meaning does it effectively delay healing even longer since they won't heal until after the burn?

      On the bright side, incendiary rounds leaving the enemy with 1HP sets them up for fantastic flashbang finishers.

      It'd prevent healing from starting until after the section tick of damage, roughly 1-2 second (closer to I'm thinking.) before the process kicks in.

    one thing worth mentioning if you use common ammo calibers like 556 or 762x39 popping an ammo type would stop enemy team from picking up ammo from your gun once you died. however this also stop you from picking up their ammo too.

    Can you do an in depth guide on the vests and the gloves? (Seperate videos ofc) I swear they do more than what they say they do and want to know what you can find! Eg: CCT Comms Vest gives you a sweep of the radar when an enemy calls in a UAV which it does not mention. Another example is the quick-grip gloves let you deploy field upgrades quicker (at least the deployable cover) as I've noticed. Yeah, it would be a good in depth imo, thanks!

    High velocity and range on sniper rifle setups is amazing. On bolt actions specifically. With the sonic suppressor and a good barrel. Hit scan.

    Later can you do a breakdown on battle rage? It was OP in the beta but now seems a little pointless to me outside of early rush routes in SnD. Its VERY good for that. But this is very niche

    Hollow Point was the Warzone 2 meta. That is because you'll hit a random leg shot more often than you think even if you dont aim for it. The effect is substantial enough
    Also the CDL pros banned the High Grain attachment

    Why is it so difficult for the COD developers to have proper descriptions for gun attachments, have the stats impacted actually match those descriptions, and have the in-game impact actually occur properly 😂. It's hilarious how hard it is for them still. So many patches and re-patches to try and fix this shit.
    Like unless you're a super hardcore player watching these RUclipsrs detail all the inconsistencies and issues so that you can compensate for them and know about them, you'd be using attachments without any idea that they aren't doing what you think they are doing.

    An issue with incendiary ammo is that you may not necessarily get a kill registered for camouflage challenges in hardcore (for example get 3 kills without reloading) if the incendiary damage leads to the kill. At the same time, incendiary shotgun ammo has a great visual appearance.

    There's a similar issue with I think the Siderwinder (if not, it's another Battle Rifle) - where you have a 15 bullets mag attachement that says it increases your mag capacity and as a downside, reduces recoil control and movement speed - but the thing is, the default mag size is 20 xD

    I have ideas about what ammunition they should put in.Flechette ammunition for automatic weapons Be able to shoot underwater with your primary weapon.But many cons underwater That on the surface.

    I’ve seen so many snipers in mw3, the over pressed ammo definitely helped out. Other than that I would need to counter them with another sniper rifle of my own.

    ammo types are only good for snipers for warzone is my guess. all the full autos benefit more from velocity with muzzle or barrels because they gain recoil control too.

    I'm not sure if anyone else has had this but im pretty sure Haymaker Dragon's Breath is killing with Fire Damage.
    Had a bunch of kills where i hit a dude with a couple shots ran around the corner and they burned to death

    Hey Ace, I noticed some weird things with some of the MW2 guns that seem like mistakes. For instance the TAC-56 is doing like 33 damage to the upper and lower torso but the TAC-V is only doing 28 damage to the lower torso… WHAT? Also the M13B is now doing more damage than the M4, even though the M4 has worse recoil and shoots slower? It doesn’t really make any sense.

      @NopeD yeah they murdered the G3 lachmann762. Its a 4 shot in semi with no recoil or fire rate buffs. Has to be a oversight, the mtz762 is 3 tap with uncapped trigger and lowish recoil. Missing my skill cannon G3. Was hard to use but very strong if mastered

    I found that my ability to kill based on ammo type mattered more in older MW’s and Warzone. Like explosive, incendiary, or slug(shotguns). Running the double barrel semi auto with slugs made for a fun mini-sniper/run’n’gun setup!

    Hollow points are the absolute worst, and only reward bad aiming habits. Someone shooting you in the legs should never benefit from their bad aim in any way in CoD

    High Grain rounds are what I use most just cause you can minimize recoil with other attachments and still do significant better at longer ranges.

    For the mono ammo, I think it says it increases range because 7.5% bullet velocity is still higher than losing the combined 2.6% nerfs to damage range stats since BV is still in the range category. So essentially the range is still up.

    Inconsistent stats vs pros and cons is pretty common from what I noticed. Like that blue dot optic with a laser on some guns say it helps ads which is does but others the stats harms ads but pro say it helps. From attachments I seen noticed it like that across the board

    Honestly the only use for any of these types I've found the need for is entirely dependant on the situation and what I'm gonna be shooting at. For anti vehicle or vek mangling as I like to call it I use either armor piercing or flame rounds. For snipers I mostly use high vel rounds simply so I don't have to accommodate for bullet drop ranges. I especially use high vel on almost all my snipers on mwii. Fun trick to use against kill streaks especially the VTOLs, drill charges will heavily damage them so if you have good aim then you can shoot down VTOLs rather quickly. One of my favorite loadouts to deal with vek cowards or tank driver cowards, I attach the drill charge grenade launcher to my rifle and equip a thermite for my lethal equipment to melt away the vehicle regardless of what it is.
    2x thermites for apcs and light tanks, 3 -4x thermites for heavy tanks and transport choppers

    Thanks for this ACE. I am OBSESSED with the high velocity rounds. I hate for my gun to feel delayed on the hit marker. So, if you can elaborate, what would an IDEAL bullet Velocity be for the standard weapons so I don't go overboard with the Velocity build. My bullet Velocity is usually over 1000. 😮

      Think about it more in terms of what is your ideal time of flight for the maps you play on. I go max velocity for big map modes like invasion and ground war because velocity can make the difference between a kill and a mutual kill in a long range sniper duel. If the time of flight is too long, I can fire my shot and the other guy will have enough time to get his shot off in response and we kill each other. I've had really rediculous moments of shooting first but getting the kill AFTER the other guy killed me because I was running a low velocity set up.

    I usually spec sights, underbarrel, stock and/or grip, barrel depending on last choice, and mag size. If I’m doing a tax stance build I’m typically using an smg with a laser instead of an optic

    LMAO, been using mono rounds all this time to take down streaks and it felt fast. Changing to incendiary now.

    I feel like overall ammo types are in a good spot where there is no one definitive top ammo type and they just supplement different guns like giving the Striker 9 high grain for more range since its damage isn't too great at range but has good recoil

    All ammo, but skips snipers explosive ammo at ranges, and against vehicles, what? Now I gotta find other vids for that too :')
    Definitely gonna use incendiary on my anti armor classes now though. That's just insane stats. Thank you for putting in the effort for us! Amazing vid!

    I use overpressurized P ammo in pistols on maps where there is water that you can swim. It seems more effective in range underwater.

    Love the detail in this video! Do you plan on doing an optic video as well? There’s so many, all with different visual recoil and shake, but the eagle eye 2.5 is the best imo.

    I actually had a guy that every time he shot me, it gave me an effect, almost like a stunned effect, screen looked blurry almost like I was drunk. He was using the holger 26

    Incendiary on LMG for a pure anti streak build but I use Armor Piercing on LMG to do all around damage to streaks/tanks/vehicles/wall bang on big maps.

    I use over pressured on all my pistol builds. Yeah I know the flinch dealt isn’t that much but I know it’s made the difference in some cases.

    Tracers might end up being useful for larger Ground War maps or when things hit War Zone. You miss a sniper shot but can't tell but how much? Spraying an LMG at longer range? It could help walk you in on your target. That's just my guess for it though.

    RAPP H + incendiary rounds is amazing against streaks, you’ll destroy a VTOL before it starts shooting the ground

    Can you talk about lasers next? There's a red "brighter" laser that decreases ads and sprint out time and there's a green one that just decreases ads. Are some really less noticeable than others?

    My thought on the tracer rounds, store blueprints are going to use this attachment, so you're able to turn them off, yet it has no pay-to-win element. Everyone knows of a few blueprints that look amazing but are functionally terrible because of the tracer downsides in warzone etc.

    Generally I use high velocity if anything just for the accuracy and bullet speed.

    Can u please test wall penetration with these attachments ? I came to see it here but u skipped it.
    You did a nice test back in MWl to it were u took one wall and shot straight and then to the side with and without the attachments.

    A weird bug with the MTZ556- its tac stance build is so accurate you could basically use it instead of ADSing, HOWEVER when you actually shoot it in tac stance, the bullets go from a place other than your crosshair, like a centimeter up and to the left, which makes its accurace unusable

    If they change round nose to effect body multipliers, that would be very interesting on some snipers that allow for that ammo type
