My biggest peeve is with prestige reset... I don't mind resetting the lockable things but removing my gun class builds, changing player skins, and zombies all your gumball packs. And everything else.. its lazy stupid....

The bug that puts you in the match before you can pick your loadout is annoying. Literally every time you load into a match, you have to pick your loadout twice
This is super annoying, either getting killed or missing the opening flag capture on dom and things of that nature before you even truly spawn in is dumb
Not being able to change or update loadouts in between rounds or during last kill replays and things like that is also a problem. You literally have like 7 seconds max regardless of downtime. Changing anything will probably take you longer. Last I played was MW2 2022, and that game let me change shit whenever I wanted pretty much.

Thank you Ace for mentioning about the Special Camo equipping issue. For the exact reason you stated, there’s almost zero reason to even equip one once you unlock one because Gold Camo is right around the corner. Also, most of the military camo’s are kind of dull and boring anyway so being able to equip a special you unlocked before the 100 headshots would make equipping Special Camo’s that much better!
Everything about the camo system in this game feels *awful,* especially coming from MWIII. From the extremely bland base camos being standardized to the silly special camo restriction to requiring headshots for every gun before getting any actual interesting gameplay thanks to the special and mastery challenges. The least they could do is let us enjoy the special camos for more than 1 or 2 games.
100% agree on the chamber check animation. Especially when I'm trying to use an LMG for challenges, it's super annoying to be killed moments after spawning during that animation. It happens all the time!
Player visibility has to be increased, i ran into so many people that would lay prone like a dead body in a corner and you can barely tell they are there.
Especially with the way bodies can lay down in so many positions now! If I see somebody lying on their side or back my instinct is that it’s a corpse for the first split second. Then they shoot me and I have to react fast or die
The one easy change I'd personally LOVE to see is to increase the rewards for playing the objective. Treyarch used to be extremely generous in the past with awarding points for playing the objective, but now you barely get anything. You get few points for capturing and NO points for getting kills on the obj, i.e. defending it while exposing yourself. Playing the obj is risky and, points wise, not worth it so most people ignore it all together. To get at least ANY value taking Strategist is an absolute must. From what I've seen the only people who go for the obj are the ones who care about their W/L ratio and those are few and far between. In Domination, for example, just look at how many people don't even bother capturing their own flag at the start of the game. If this doesn't show you how broken the points economy is in obj game modes, then I don't know what does. While super fun gameplay wise, this year has been a real let down for us obj players and I hope they change things, tho I'm not too optimistic at this point...
As a Hardpoint player sitting on the OBJ is more rewarding than ever. You get streaks very quickly. I was unaware that Domination is in a very different situation.
Depends on the mode. Hardpoint borderline over rewards you for sitting on the point. Domination is a bit weaker, especially it you single handedly defend or attack a point.
On top of the skewed rewards based on which objectives you’re actually playing, they’ve also balanced score to encourage you to take the Strategist perk specialty. And I’m of the opinion that perk specialties in this game are a huge net negative in terms of their effect on game balance- there’s almost nothing good about them.
One thing I'll say about not immediately capping the home zone is, at least in my games, no one ever, like literally ever, will go for those. It's a fight over B the entire time which is so frustrating because it'd be so easy to go cap their home base with maybe one defender. But that's why I'm booking to B, usually C is very safe, and whoever caps B first keeps it. This matchmaking is seriously depressing. I'm not even that great but I'm either curb stomping or getting stomped. No good matches at all. Partially why as a brand new zombie player I probably have more time in that.
My feedback: 1.Unlink the hud between MP/Zombies, the reason I bring this up is because I have a sibling who plays MP while I play zombies and any changes I make to the hud in zombies to fit my preference will affect the hud in MP (Mentioned in the Vid) 2. Challenge/Camo Tracker (already mentioned in vid) 3. XP tokens as a reward for completing daily challenges 4. Augment Progress Tracker as well Augment Completion Pop ups to let me know if I have obtained a new augment during my round of zombies. 5. Be able to keep the battle passes you purchased instead of them expiring after the end of the season (games like marvel rivals are slowly doing this.) Edit: 6. Add a combat record for Zombies.
what's funny is the challenge tracking functionality LITERALLY EXISTS in the game. there's just no way to activate it. i remember, on launch, i somehow accidentally opened up a context menu in the camo screen and it said "add to tracked (0/5)" and i NEVER got it to pop up again, on purpose or accidentally. The game has now been out for two months nearly, how have they not fixed this
The spawns are very very very bad. Enemies will be spawning right next to you. Or a Enemy will be very near in your spawn and just points his gun right where you're going to spawn. As you spawn your dead. And this is every day. Another thing. The winners circle needs to be fix. Ull be there pressing the up or down or side buttons for your character to dance or sit down or whatever. And you get 10 seconds. Only when its 8to 7 seconds mostly thats the time it will allow you to select it. So you lose out on 3 seconds. And this is Goin on from the game launch. Please fix it.
That's why I I've been using recon specialist. It's saved me multiple times where they would just spawn a dude 4 feet away after I literally just killed him :/ I at least get a high alert view to know "Get your ass outta there"
Another small one is, on the "loadout" when hovering over a gun, by the level bar, it should show if a gun is max level or not, currently it just shows the current level. A workaround is to go into gunsmith and it says it if you hover over an attachment, but that workaround should not ave to be a thing when every single cod had that small feature, even MWII had it lol
The lack of lobbies filling up is especially frustrating. The majority of my losses I've noticed involve 2 or more quits on my team with the game mid match with no attempt from the game to fill those spots. As a result, I dont even focus on W/L ratio until this gets fixed or improved.
On a side note... I hate getting thrown in a game that is halfway over with people spawn trapping us. You're only getting thrown on a team that is losing enough to make people quit out lol
Possible unpopular opinion but they need penalties for leaving imo it ruins everyone's experience especially in S&D not that I enjoy S&D on this title.
Thank you for mentioning the special camos! I have never been able to use one for more than a game or two because I unlocked gold right away. THE SINGLE BEST thing about MW3 & MW2 was the thousands of camos you could cycle through for a given gun- the BO6 approach seems fine on paper but is useless in practice
you talked about backfilling more aggressively but IMO that doesn't fix anything. If I get backfilled I usually leave immediately. People leave games because the teams are unbalanced, they're spawntrapped, the lobby is too "sweaty", the server running that particular game is shitting its pants, etc. Whatever the reason, the person before me left for a reason, and I don't want to stick around in a game they left long enough to find out what that reason was.
The two biggest issues I have with the core gameplay right now are names vanishing on prone targets, who are impossible to spot with lots of bodies around, and bullet penetration being absolutely insane without FMJ
I cannot see anyone on this game. Idk if it’s because not that many people are buying the ugly bright Fortnite skins? Or what? As much as I hate seeing all these skins, I have to admit not only are some the hit boxes bigger and easy to shoot, they make spotting them a lot easier
@@Casual_CoD names literally vanish when players are prone, it's not just the visual noise and weird positioning of bodies from omni movement (players on their backs are insanely hard to spot around a point with a bunch of bodies on the ground, like e.g. every dom or hardpoint ever) - there's a delay before prone players names show up and it has gotten me killed so many times, it's super frustrating
Hybrid optics no longer default to last used as they did in other cods. So when you respawn it allways starts on zoomed in view, which is a proper peeve of mine...
it's so fun previously having a 3kd overall in older cods yet struggling getting a 1.5 and getting literally nothing but scout pulses because the enemy team gets purposely spawned near me every single time or caught while reloading
Bugs: -No match bonus in snd if you don’t get a hit marker or kill on the last round. -Bugged blueprints attachments -swapping loadout mid round can get stuck and you can’t see anything snd -joining mid game in snd might make you wait a extra round as a spectator -nades sometimes kill you through walls Qol: -reticle/scope slider like mw2 -Multiple Blueprint customization like mw2. Esp now since master crafts are back. Mashing 2 gun skins I paid for was actually good feature. -please make an announcement for acoustics amp at least in snd like it does for sleeper agent. This paired w the ninja bugs sometimes has me loosing my mind. -please make fast hands a red perk. Enforcer is already weak compared to the other two but having to run assassin or the melee perk in 2 slot is essentially giving up a perk to gain a perk. Especially as a snd player. -buff enforcer. So weak compared to recon. Recon has the best perks plus the best bonuses. Rather you buff enforcer than nerf recon. Stims are almost more rampant than mw19. This is just off the top of my head too.
Sometimes some of the operators blends in so perfectly that it's tough to tell exactly where I got shot from. And because of supine prone, proned enemies are even tougher for me to notice, especially in Hardcare. Solution for that should be show the proned enemies nametag quickly or just add red lighta or markings that we had in BO3, IW & BO4.
I think non disbanding lobbies would help this a lot because at least you know you’ll be getting a fresh match if you stick it out Right now the game will disband and you will likely get put into another in progress game afterwards But they’ll never do this because as blame truth says “THE DATA” suggests SBMM is the best!

The fact I need fast mags to reload like a normal person and not like a grandpa, and have to avoid mantling bc it takes 3 business days, and those problems exist in the same game that has Omni movement is the wildest shit I’ve ever seen. Its like a person described to the guy next to him what the perfect COD would be, and then he whispered it to the next guy and that went on 300 more times and the last guy was deaf desk plant submerged under water.
Matchmaking is a big one for me. I have a 0.56 W/L mostly from leaving a match already in progress. Don’t play if you’re not having fun. On to the next match. 🤞🏼
Thanks for mentioning the search and destroy stuff, it’s been that way since launch. Also I strongly agree with streaks being under powered/too high to earn. I have almost never seen other streaks other than UAVs and the helo (gets shot down instantly)
This video is insane, I didn't realize just how much was broken about this game until I heard it all in one place like this. Crazy that there are literal entire features, perks and gamemodes that straight up just don't work
Separate settings is huge, not just for HUD. For example I play a lot of zombies and warzone and in warzone i want to put all plates in at once, but in zombies plates are so scarce (and armor works differently so you only need 1 plate) so i only want to put in one at a time (also you cant cancel theulti plate animation at all)
Idk bout you guys, weapons menu has been driving me crazy. Some guns don’t load correct pictures or lids completely different pictures/depictions of the modded guns. And since the games come out I haven’t been able to swap attachments out on a blueprint. You can do it and it shows in menu what you changed, but in game always loads me with default attachments. Makes me feel like I got no reason to use premade blueprints if I can’t adapt them myself. Also, thanks, Ace. You mentioned ALOT of my concerns. You’re the best at what you do 👍🏻
To add on the FFA win bug (I play mostly FFA): The chances of winning are completely random no matter what placement you get. This makes your chances of winning in a full lobby 3/8 = 37.5% (3 random winners). This makes your progression really slow because you often time lose out on the winning XP bonus. If you look in the barracks at your last games every FFA game displays the score 0-0. I believe the system somehow gives everyone a score of 0 when the match concludes and the only option then is to select 3 winners by random.
Also a spawn overhaul in Free for All would be nice. The spawns are so bad. On most maps you only spawn on the outskirts of the map and leaves out the complete middle area even when it's safe to spawn there. This makes some spawn distances really short and often times you run into someone after 1 second of spawning and you don't have time to reload until the next person pops around the corner from the other spawn right next to you.
As a FFA only player I completely agree. The win loss situation is unforgivable and literally makes the w/l stat irrelevant. The revenge spawn system, especially on maps like Babylon, Subsonic and Payback is just gross at this point.
To get the W every time you need to be 1st and have a good kd, atleast like 2 or 3. then you are always safe. The bug is still really annoying though and that it isnt fixed yet is criminal.
@@Enesko1995 thats not true, I got a 3kd multiple times as first and still got a loss. I played over 200 FFA games and I can guarantee you that the wins are completely random. In the barracks your score will always show up as 0-0 in FFA games.
Spawns and maps are the biggest things for me outside of matchmaking. The spawns are awful. Too stick in some game modes which makes it too easy to spawn trap. But in other modes the spawns flip way too much and make it too easy to get shot in the back. Then also maps. The maps have pretty bad flow and that can be addressed by just adding new maps that play like traditional 3 lane maps And obviously match making. The fact that people back out of matches so much now should tell treyarch that the sbmm they claim is so good isnt working and people are over it. You can adjust the sbmm so it still protects the lowest skill players while also allowing MM to be connection based first. The little bugs are annoying but those are the 2 things that i think really hold the game back
Agree i was going to comment pretty much the same things. The bad spawns & spawn flipping is making/contributing to such bad map flow in tdm style modes your on edge with every move you make & spawn trapping is now just a back out of game for me its too annoying. Sbmm i assume is making the game fun for the lowest tier players only ( who should be protected) as it feels so tightly cranked at the moment i cant casually play & once iv finished the camo grind if its still the same i dont think i can continue playing. They need to loosen sbmm so the games are more varied like the og days and not all feeling like ranked play where it feels like everyone is basically on the same level & your games dont feel like a varied experiance but manufactured. Disinsentiveses getting better because youll be punished with matchmaking so stringently so you feel like youll rarely get those pop off games when you get a lobby where you happen to be one of the better players from time to time.
So glad you mentioned reload speeds was feeling like I was the only one! With a longer ttk and teeny tiny maps feel like I spend so much of the game having to hunker down for a reload it really hurts any flow for me
Gearhead perk not working right is such a massive bummer… I used a permanent unlock on it and have made it a staple in most of my classes and a key feature just doesn’t work??? Cmon treyarch please do a hotfix
I agree... now I have a couple faves, like Cherry Blossom for example, in the special category, when I'm grinding a new weapon out I can't use that until after 100 headshots or whatever, once I've done that though I'm only going to see it for like 5-6 games rather 30 or so games depending on what weapon it is I'm getting kills or headshots with so special camos kinda just be obsolete by the time you have them and unlock the ability to use them not so long after you already have Gold, like you stated.
@@joecrow7666 They- and most people, frankly- prefer gold and the other mastery camos at the end of the day. But this doesn't mean that it isn't incredibly lame that your main alternatives to the bland headshot camos are all locked until you've already nearly unlocked that gold. It's like getting a free apartment when you're a week away from moving into a new house.
I 100% agree with the feedback you provided and that the solo experience needs to be addressed, I can't stand playing solo mp. For the UI additions it would be amazing to have the dot's above friendlies and objective markers opacity be adjustable so they don't get in the way during gun fights.
The harp is still broken if UAV’s are called in while it’s active, causing the UAV ping condition to disrupt the real time tracking of the harp. I’ll have to tell my team not to use UAV’s until the harp expires.

One thing I'd really love to see is being able to unequip weapons. Having classes that are only secondary or only melee was something I enjoyed in some past cods. When grinding camos, having to swap weapons after every death, especially in face off, is tedious, annoying, and can often get you killed.
6:28 This is a really important point. The matchmaking, this year more than ever, seems to be creating extremely unbalanced games. It’s blowout after blowout, one way or the other. That’s boring at best and very frustrating at worst, so I can’t blame people for backing out - admittedly, I do too. Then the problem becomes filling the empty slots, but joining an in-progress game on the losing team is frustrating for the same reason players left - it was a blowout. So of course no one wants to join that game and will probably go straight back to the lobby as soon as they’re put in. None of this would be a problem if the matchmaking system was better.
To encourage people to stay in a losing game when they were put into it AFTER the match has started is to give the player the option to keep are throw away the stats of the game. IF i get thrown into a losing match, I want that option if they expect me to stay. I also want 5 seconds of spawn protection until the match turns or balances IF the losing team starts to make a come back.
Mine must be reverse blowouts because Jesus Christ, everything goes great ill even attain all my streaks yet the opposing team just flips a switch and its a wrap. The opposing team ALWAYS knows how to adjust while my team is insanely trying the same thing over and over
Yes, yes, yes!! To almost everything you mentioned great video!! Only thing I would add to this is the distance between where players spawn on top of you and in all hc modes remove the gun chambering.
They need to put 10v10 back on the front page. Since it was added to quick play, my ping and search times have gone way up!! When it was on the front page with the other featured playlists there were no problems like this at all. 6v6 still works fine for me. I’ve seen some other players mention this same problem, but for some others there isn’t an issue. Kind of a weird problem but I mainly play this mode and it’s been so laggy to play lately that now I have nearly zero interest to play.
I'm someone who enjoys alternating between 6v6 and 10v10. As convenient as it seems for someone like me to have it in the Quick Play filters so that there's a chance of it popping, it *never* comes up in a regular queue without forcing it in the filters. And casual players now never see the mode at all because they won't go out of their way to force it via the filters menu vs. clicking a separate, very visible 10v10 playlist button on a whim. It feels like such a massive UI/UX blunder and it's completely killed the population and queue times for 10v10.
@@NormalSuitNick it’s wild isn’t it! It was even worse in MWII, as soon as it got added to quickplay it completely died out. And of course before that when they had 10v10, 10v10 dome 24/7, or 10v10 shoot house 24/7 on the front page it loaded up 20 players just as quickly as shipment 24/7 6v6! I would think they would have the data on this and would therefore change it back to what it was, for 10v10 you gotta keep that shit populated.
10v10 stopped working in MWII during MWIII unfortunately and they removed it from MW 2019 during MWII. I’m glad it’s in BO6 though but they should fix the previous issues.
@@ShootzFPSyeah I had that issue in MWII as well (btw 10v10 and Petrov Oil Rig annoyingly got removed from MW 2019 a couple years back or so and they didn’t address that). Idk why 10v10 in Quick Play is an issue - it should be fairly popular.
Thank you for mentioning the Search and Destroy bugs. Crazy they haven't been fixed after all this time. There still seems to be a match bonus glitch on SnD where it doesn't give it every time.
Quartermaster has been broken since season 1 update dropped btw. The listed effects don't work fully as intended (stims don't recharge in half the time and axe doesn't stack more than 1), and it was perfectly fine pre season
In MW3 when entering a match after the start, it had no stop-loss on your combat win/loss record. If your team lost, even if you joined in last minute, you took a loss. Now that glitch or change has continued with BO6. I hope they change this back to how previous COD games worked cause win/loss record matters to me and it's not your fault if server brings you in late.
It might be just you. It felt like my lobbies were easier honestly, if anything. It’s just my take against yours though. It’s most likely that nothing changed.
I noticeably had higher SBMM around friday or saturday for a day or 2, but I think by monday and maybe even sunday it was normal. I'm pretty confident they were doing some player engagement statistical testing to see what play times would be with higher SBMM.
Make 2v2 Gunfight a permanent game mode. And fix the issues with in the game mode to be similar to previous titles, give us tournaments with prizes/unlocks for winning such tournaments. Currently Babylon the map you can just shoot through the map and hit the enemies once the count down started and you can see the enemy highlighted in Orange as the count down timer is ticking. No announcer when the enemy is capping the flag, no damage is displayed on the score board either.
I would love to see everyone's calling card in the lobby pre match, and rank/prestige icons with their names in game. This could potentially go far in making the multiplayer feel more like a community without dealing with the painful matchmaking that they aren't going to change.
Appreciate you keeping those of us who've stopped playing BO6 up to date on the current state of the game. Hopefully they course correct soon and it'll actually be enjoyable, especially for solo players.
I did this at the moment for ⅔ of the game. Multiplay is not realy enjoyable atm, campaign was ok but i have it done. Zombies on the other hand is a blast
before i watch the video, heres my pick(edit) i was pretty close to you ace) 1- reload speed is too slow for 90% of the guns and that most ''fast mag'' lower the amount of ammo in your mag 2-mantle speed is wayy to slow 3-red perk are pretty underwelming, enforcer tooÀ 4-when you prestige everything is reseted(gun and lvl is fine, not my operator, gesture, gobblegum) 5-spring mine... its so annoyng 6-no counter to recon 7-spawn in hardpoint and tdm 8-match rarely fill up after ppl leave 9-buff to some killstreak. turret is useless, agr dies to fast. that or lower the requiered point 10-gun balance. some gun are way to weak(GPR) 11-shadowban/chat ban 12-in game challenge tracker 13-better reward for master prestige lvl 100-1000 14-lost prevention for joining late 15-dunno if its a bug but since i reached master prestige it only shows the medals i got since im prestige, (i had 6nuke now it only shows 1 nuke medal) 16-zipline vs picking up guns.... (from a lvl 210 player with dark matter, nebula and 2.2kd)
THANK YOU for talking about the FFA defeat bug! It seems like unless big RUclipsrs bring things like this up, they'll stay in the game indefinitely. Another creator talked about this too, but it's still an issue. For those unaware, in Free for All the win condition is supposed to be extremely simple. 30 kills gets the win. Top 3 placement is determined by the # of kills in descending order. This has never worked properly in BO6. On launch, it went by score instead of kills. Meaning you could get 30 kills but lose to someone who got more assists. With the launch of season 1, it's completely busted in a different way. The kills technically count properly, but now when someone enters a match late, the loss prevention will randomly kick one of the top 3 players out of the winner's circle entirely and give them a defeat. Meaning the top 3 can be the 3 bottom players on the scoreboard... Honestly, I still don't know the actual calculation for how it places late entrants. But I do know even if it's just one player coming in late, you can get 30 kills and get "defeat" and 4th place or worse. Sometimes you get 30 kills and 2nd or 3rd place. The win condition is completely broken and Treyarch hasn't said a PEEP about it.
My biggest complaint is not only the tactical,lethal and smoke spamming it’s supposed to be a gun game. It’s also the effects of those grenades. We shouldn’t have to use a thermal scope just to see the enemy. I would love if they just dumped grenades altogether and we got back to gun fights.
Wow absolutely not, grenades and tacticals are your best tool to disrupt enemies that are set up. If a team has an area locked down the only way you're getting in is by throwing something in there.
You know what they need when it comes to faster, reload and bigger Mag is hybrid mags. They should add the hybrid magazine so that way you have bigger magazine and faster reload speed.
I think he was pretty much done there in any meaningful capacity before even Cold War ( which I liked). But regardless, the black ops he was involved with were the best imo.
We need fast extended mags too, like from Cold War. Having more ammo plus reloading faster is a GODSEND. Obviously balance it out so it affects your handling stats more severely.

the hate is always there, just that the love overshadows it at the start, and slowly but surely dies down, as more bugs pop up, and as more and more people get frustrated with the matchmaking experience. also like at the start, more people are playing the campaign, and that also slowly dies out

Absolutely agree with a request for the return of a Mercenary Playlist. I've been wanting this to return wo badly. They also really need to clean up the party indicators like you said. Solo players do not need a line next to them, only parties of 2 or more.
It’d be nice to be able to care about that ratio but with all of the other external variables affecting match outcomes (like match making systems) I just can’t bring myself to care. I’m also pretty likely to lose games where I’m a desync casualty. Not 100% but usually that’s the case.
I agree with just about everything you suggested. One little addition though that I think would be great and would harm no one, even if most players never use it, is add a 4v4 or 5v5 "Team Tactical" playlist since the maps are just way too small too be enjoyable in 6v6 and clearly that's not something that can really be fixed at this point
There is also a bug on controller, when you hold R3 to prone, your character bobs up and down essentially, so it crouches, then stands up again, then goes down to prone. It’s literally gotten me killed 100s of times, why is no one else talking about it? I have replicated it consistently on an old controller and then a brand new out of the box dualsense edge, using different buttons (first tried r3 and then r2)

Ace - I love your videos - however - BO6 is simply Garbage. This game is by far the least interesting and annoying cod I’ve played. Team balancing is terrible, SBMM is manipulative and questionably rigged. I’ve found a solution - uninstall and play marvel rivals.
Thank you for bringing up mercenary lobbies, I have been wanting merc lobbies back ever since they took them out. I play solo 9/10 times, playing against well coordinated parties combined with SBMM is borderline impossible
Another missing QoL feature is allowing hybrid scopes to remain on the most recently used level of zoom after death. Aside from being a tedious exercise having to change zoom every time, it can get you killed when you’re getting into a sudden engagement straight after a respawn
9:30 Ninja is even more broken than you pointed out. Yes, every round based gamemode you have to re-select your loadout on every round, but on top of that your ninja can stop working at random on any life in any gamemode atleast in ranked. You don’t even always notice it and your teammate has to point out that you’re making hella footstep noise and then you have to re-select your loadout
This is the first time I've heard someone talk about making separate HUD's on zombies and mp. This seems like it would be such an easy change but it would be a HUGE improvement.
It's been said countless times in the comments, but please, for the love of COD, stop resetting, eliminating and changing my classes and operators upon entering Prestige.
I think existing maps should definitely get some adjustments. They don't have to be rebuilt from the ground up. Some would be vastly improved with small changes like added/removed cover to improve flow and prevent easily exploited headglitch spots and areas with very poor visibility. I hate that the maps that are objectively bad and unanimously disliked just have to sit in the game and never get voted for. It would take some map designers and env artists no time at all to adjust them, at least compared to creating new maps. See what BF2024 did where they reworked every single launch map because they were so poorly designed and tested the first time around when the game was rushed during its development. They went from the worst set of BF maps ever to mostly being fun.
Thank you Ace!! I agree with absolutely everything in this video... Except for one thing. The event section. I disagree with making the events special challenges. We had to fight tooth and nail just to get camo challenges to be normal, reasonable challenges that youd get naturally by playing the game. Unless the challenges were for like using a specific gun, something simple, I dont see a good reason to make the events more complicated.
Make this make sense: In Ranked... If I win and the lobby gets booted before I'm back in the menu, no-one in the match gains or loses SR. If I find a match and a party member gets left behind for no reason, they get a penalty and probation.
We can pick out minor issues, but they would be bearable if connection, skill based damage and eomm were fixed. Those are the things that will really lose players. The smaller issues; Removing spawn trapping, removing or adding one or two pieces of cover on some maps, improving tacticals and the non-explosive lethals, lowering score streak values, adding a few better kill streaks, boosting smg range a little, adding more recoil again (to bring it back to what it was, before the recent update), nerfing sniper rifles, adding another shotgun and lmg, nerfing sprint speed, faster and more consistently quick loading into games, no AI generated images, no stupid skins in store.
I think a reasonable thing to ask for is "Maps Exposed"!🎉 In all honesty, I love your channel. I watch pretty much every video for COD, but those videos are what got me into your channel, loved them. But again that's just my opinion, this is where I'd love to hear your feedback. Seriously you rock, thank you for all the work you put in. Huge Fan.
Another perk bug, since S1 dropped Vigilance does not make you immune to scramblers anymore despite the perk description saying “immune to CUAV and scrambler.” It still counters CUAV and sleeper agent though.
Something they would never do but would make the game more playable: Team rebalancing. This used to be a thing like a decade ago, where if most of a team left it would just shift half the team that existed over so teams were even. Suddenly a game is interesting again, instead of one team that was already dominating continuing to slaughter some people who loaded in mid match and have no idea what's going on!
I just don't understand how BO6 so many steps back from MWIII in many ways. It just seems weird that a game developed in parallel with MWIII, it would gain the same features brought into MWIII. And there's just a lot of things broken mentioned in this video that collectively become a huge annoyance. I'm basically just going to try to get Nebula to finish out the BP, and I probably won't touch the game again. I'm just bummed because I really enjoyed MWIII and played it a ton.
The one QOL thing I miss all the time is a attachment progress screen for each weapon. I have to look at each category to see what attachment is coming up.
My feedback: - Future maps need to be structured more in a more classic 3 lane way with lanes not having 20 sidelines to be shot from at all times combined with a medium map size. Small maps should only be added to FaceOff, we don't need any more small maps than we do right now in core 6v6. - Future maps should have more unique map locations instead of releasing so many maps with the same boring aesthetic with just different buildings and layouts (every S1 map has the same aesthetic / environment and it kills variety and personality). Right now we have like four maps with the same aesthetic pallet (Lowtown, Hideout, Extraction and Hacienda). - Spawns need more consistency and work, it still happens too often I spawn near an enemy and objective modes are too sticky. I like them being sticky but right now you can run through the spawn and not flip them. - Scorestreaks are very lackluster. The Attack Helicopter is just an air spotter that doesn't really kill anyone, if you are lucky you get 1 or 2 kills. The HARP can be shot down and therefore is far less effective for its score cost. On top of that the mini map coverage is way too small in this game to make it a really effective streak. Also where are the Attack Dogs? Or something like a Snipers Nest? Or something similar to the G.I. Unit but instead of a robot make it an AI controlled Juggernaut. They are boring compared to the classic streaks and even MWIII last year. - Perk variety is pretty weak imo. I feel like Perk 1 includes all the useful perks and the other perk categories are just meh. - Still going to mention it, SBMM and server quality can really hurt the consistent quality of the gameplay experience. It has been proven we are not always playing on 60Hz servers and it is noticeable. I get shot around cornors way too often in this game and it still happens too often that I get 10 hitmarkers and die within 2 shots. - Player Collission is really annoying in this game again
Kinda wish they also did a throwback game modes like week with game modes like drop zone, demolition, search and rescue some of these have not made a return to my knowledge in a while. Also siege leaning would be kinda sweet with how they have the somewhat lean mechanic
4:26 the mechanic you talk about at this point is this when you spawn into a came and it keeps your loadouts up and you cannot do any aiming just shoot even if you have chosen a loadout? This happens all the time to me and then I die and get mad
We don’t have the life counter in headquarters, which is just a counter that shows how many defenders are alive. Every other cod with HQ mode has had it
My biggest peeve is with prestige reset... I don't mind resetting the lockable things but removing my gun class builds, changing player skins, and zombies all your gumball packs. And everything else.. its lazy stupid....

The bug that puts you in the match before you can pick your loadout is annoying. Literally every time you load into a match, you have to pick your loadout twice
This is super annoying, either getting killed or missing the opening flag capture on dom and things of that nature before you even truly spawn in is dumb
Not being able to change or update loadouts in between rounds or during last kill replays and things like that is also a problem. You literally have like 7 seconds max regardless of downtime. Changing anything will probably take you longer. Last I played was MW2 2022, and that game let me change shit whenever I wanted pretty much.

Thank you Ace for mentioning about the Special Camo equipping issue. For the exact reason you stated, there’s almost zero reason to even equip one once you unlock one because Gold Camo is right around the corner. Also, most of the military camo’s are kind of dull and boring anyway so being able to equip a special you unlocked before the 100 headshots would make equipping Special Camo’s that much better!
Everything about the camo system in this game feels *awful,* especially coming from MWIII. From the extremely bland base camos being standardized to the silly special camo restriction to requiring headshots for every gun before getting any actual interesting gameplay thanks to the special and mastery challenges. The least they could do is let us enjoy the special camos for more than 1 or 2 games.
100% agree on the chamber check animation. Especially when I'm trying to use an LMG for challenges, it's super annoying to be killed moments after spawning during that animation. It happens all the time!

Player visibility has to be increased, i ran into so many people that would lay prone like a dead body in a corner and you can barely tell they are there.
Especially with the way bodies can lay down in so many positions now! If I see somebody lying on their side or back my instinct is that it’s a corpse for the first split second. Then they shoot me and I have to react fast or die
The one easy change I'd personally LOVE to see is to increase the rewards for playing the objective. Treyarch used to be extremely generous in the past with awarding points for playing the objective, but now you barely get anything.
You get few points for capturing and NO points for getting kills on the obj, i.e. defending it while exposing yourself. Playing the obj is risky and, points wise, not worth it so most people ignore it all together. To get at least ANY value taking Strategist is an absolute must. From what I've seen the only people who go for the obj are the ones who care about their W/L ratio and those are few and far between.
In Domination, for example, just look at how many people don't even bother capturing their own flag at the start of the game. If this doesn't show you how broken the points economy is in obj game modes, then I don't know what does. While super fun gameplay wise, this year has been a real let down for us obj players and I hope they change things, tho I'm not too optimistic at this point...
As a Hardpoint player sitting on the OBJ is more rewarding than ever. You get streaks very quickly. I was unaware that Domination is in a very different situation.
Depends on the mode. Hardpoint borderline over rewards you for sitting on the point. Domination is a bit weaker, especially it you single handedly defend or attack a point.
A lot of people treat obj games modes as tdm and it’s frustrating.
On top of the skewed rewards based on which objectives you’re actually playing, they’ve also balanced score to encourage you to take the Strategist perk specialty. And I’m of the opinion that perk specialties in this game are a huge net negative in terms of their effect on game balance- there’s almost nothing good about them.
One thing I'll say about not immediately capping the home zone is, at least in my games, no one ever, like literally ever, will go for those. It's a fight over B the entire time which is so frustrating because it'd be so easy to go cap their home base with maybe one defender.
But that's why I'm booking to B, usually C is very safe, and whoever caps B first keeps it. This matchmaking is seriously depressing.
I'm not even that great but I'm either curb stomping or getting stomped. No good matches at all. Partially why as a brand new zombie player I probably have more time in that.
My feedback:
1.Unlink the hud between MP/Zombies, the reason I bring this up is because I have a sibling who plays MP while I play zombies and any changes I make to the hud in zombies to fit my preference will affect the hud in MP (Mentioned in the Vid)
2. Challenge/Camo Tracker (already mentioned in vid)
3. XP tokens as a reward for completing daily challenges
4. Augment Progress Tracker as well Augment Completion Pop ups to let me know if I have obtained a new augment during my round of zombies.
5. Be able to keep the battle passes you purchased instead of them expiring after the end of the season (games like marvel rivals are slowly doing this.)

what's funny is the challenge tracking functionality LITERALLY EXISTS in the game. there's just no way to activate it. i remember, on launch, i somehow accidentally opened up a context menu in the camo screen and it said "add to tracked (0/5)" and i NEVER got it to pop up again, on purpose or accidentally. The game has now been out for two months nearly, how have they not fixed this

The spawns are very very very bad. Enemies will be spawning right next to you. Or a Enemy will be very near in your spawn and just points his gun right where you're going to spawn. As you spawn your dead. And this is every day. Another thing. The winners circle needs to be fix. Ull be there pressing the up or down or side buttons for your character to dance or sit down or whatever. And you get 10 seconds. Only when its 8to 7 seconds mostly thats the time it will allow you to select it. So you lose out on 3 seconds. And this is Goin on from the game launch. Please fix it.
I literally spawned in front of a teammate who was being shot at, killing me but at least he survived and was able to kill them off. What fun
Winners circle animations are just lame...... removing them entirely is the best option.

It’s amazing that even on nuketown, a 14 year old map, the spawns are fucked.
Another small one is, on the "loadout" when hovering over a gun, by the level bar, it should show if a gun is max level or not, currently it just shows the current level.
A workaround is to go into gunsmith and it says it if you hover over an attachment, but that workaround should not ave to be a thing when every single cod had that small feature, even MWII had it lol

The lack of lobbies filling up is especially frustrating. The majority of my losses I've noticed involve 2 or more quits on my team with the game mid match with no attempt from the game to fill those spots. As a result, I dont even focus on W/L ratio until this gets fixed or improved.
On a side note... I hate getting thrown in a game that is halfway over with people spawn trapping us. You're only getting thrown on a team that is losing enough to make people quit out lol

Thank you for mentioning the special camos! I have never been able to use one for more than a game or two because I unlocked gold right away. THE SINGLE BEST thing about MW3 & MW2 was the thousands of camos you could cycle through for a given gun- the BO6 approach seems fine on paper but is useless in practice
you talked about backfilling more aggressively but IMO that doesn't fix anything. If I get backfilled I usually leave immediately. People leave games because the teams are unbalanced, they're spawntrapped, the lobby is too "sweaty", the server running that particular game is shitting its pants, etc. Whatever the reason, the person before me left for a reason, and I don't want to stick around in a game they left long enough to find out what that reason was.
The two biggest issues I have with the core gameplay right now are names vanishing on prone targets, who are impossible to spot with lots of bodies around, and bullet penetration being absolutely insane without FMJ
I cannot see anyone on this game. Idk if it’s because not that many people are buying the ugly bright Fortnite skins? Or what? As much as I hate seeing all these skins, I have to admit not only are some the hit boxes bigger and easy to shoot, they make spotting them a lot easier
@@Casual_CoD names literally vanish when players are prone, it's not just the visual noise and weird positioning of bodies from omni movement (players on their backs are insanely hard to spot around a point with a bunch of bodies on the ground, like e.g. every dom or hardpoint ever) - there's a delay before prone players names show up and it has gotten me killed so many times, it's super frustrating

The MP is perhaps the best in the Black Ops series. One key issue not enough people are mentioning is no combat record in Zombies.

Hybrid optics no longer default to last used as they did in other cods. So when you respawn it allways starts on zoomed in view, which is a proper peeve of mine...

it's so fun previously having a 3kd overall in older cods yet struggling getting a 1.5 and getting literally nothing but scout pulses because the enemy team gets purposely spawned near me every single time or caught while reloading

-No match bonus in snd if you don’t get a hit marker or kill on the last round.
-Bugged blueprints attachments
-swapping loadout mid round can get stuck and you can’t see anything snd
-joining mid game in snd might make you wait a extra round as a spectator
-nades sometimes kill you through walls

-reticle/scope slider like mw2
-Multiple Blueprint customization like mw2. Esp now since master crafts are back. Mashing 2 gun skins I paid for was actually good feature.
-please make an announcement for acoustics amp at least in snd like it does for sleeper agent. This paired w the ninja bugs sometimes has me loosing my mind.
-please make fast hands a red perk. Enforcer is already weak compared to the other two but having to run assassin or the melee perk in 2 slot is essentially giving up a perk to gain a perk. Especially as a snd player.
-buff enforcer. So weak compared to recon. Recon has the best perks plus the best bonuses. Rather you buff enforcer than nerf recon. Stims are almost more rampant than mw19.

Sometimes some of the operators blends in so perfectly that it's tough to tell exactly where I got shot from. And because of supine prone, proned enemies are even tougher for me to notice, especially in Hardcare.
Solution for that should be show the proned enemies nametag quickly or just add red lighta or markings that we had in BO3, IW & BO4.
Fix whatever is causing me to join in progress games where our team is getting railed by a chopper gunner more than joining fresh games

I think non disbanding lobbies would help this a lot because at least you know you’ll be getting a fresh match if you stick it out
Right now the game will disband and you will likely get put into another in progress game afterwards
But they’ll never do this because as blame truth says “THE DATA” suggests SBMM is the best!

The fact I need fast mags to reload like a normal person and not like a grandpa, and have to avoid mantling bc it takes 3 business days, and those problems exist in the same game that has Omni movement is the wildest shit I’ve ever seen. Its like a person described to the guy next to him what the perfect COD would be, and then he whispered it to the next guy and that went on 300 more times and the last guy was deaf desk plant submerged under water.
Matchmaking is a big one for me. I have a 0.56 W/L mostly from leaving a match already in progress. Don’t play if you’re not having fun. On to the next match. 🤞🏼

Thanks for mentioning the search and destroy stuff, it’s been that way since launch. Also I strongly agree with streaks being under powered/too high to earn. I have almost never seen other streaks other than UAVs and the helo (gets shot down instantly)

Separate settings is huge, not just for HUD. For example I play a lot of zombies and warzone and in warzone i want to put all plates in at once, but in zombies plates are so scarce (and armor works differently so you only need 1 plate) so i only want to put in one at a time (also you cant cancel theulti plate animation at all)
Idk bout you guys, weapons menu has been driving me crazy. Some guns don’t load correct pictures or lids completely different pictures/depictions of the modded guns. And since the games come out I haven’t been able to swap attachments out on a blueprint. You can do it and it shows in menu what you changed, but in game always loads me with default attachments. Makes me feel like I got no reason to use premade blueprints if I can’t adapt them myself. Also, thanks, Ace. You mentioned ALOT of my concerns. You’re the best at what you do 👍🏻
RELOAD SPEED, I MISS SOH!!! I die so many times reloading, feels like it takes weeks to reload and SMG or even a pistol. Bring back SOH!

To add on the FFA win bug (I play mostly FFA): The chances of winning are completely random no matter what placement you get. This makes your chances of winning in a full lobby 3/8 = 37.5% (3 random winners). This makes your progression really slow because you often time lose out on the winning XP bonus. If you look in the barracks at your last games every FFA game displays the score 0-0. I believe the system somehow gives everyone a score of 0 when the match concludes and the only option then is to select 3 winners by random.
Also a spawn overhaul in Free for All would be nice. The spawns are so bad. On most maps you only spawn on the outskirts of the map and leaves out the complete middle area even when it's safe to spawn there. This makes some spawn distances really short and often times you run into someone after 1 second of spawning and you don't have time to reload until the next person pops around the corner from the other spawn right next to you.
As a FFA only player I completely agree. The win loss situation is unforgivable and literally makes the w/l stat irrelevant. The revenge spawn system, especially on maps like Babylon, Subsonic and Payback is just gross at this point.
To get the W every time you need to be 1st and have a good kd, atleast like 2 or 3. then you are always safe. The bug is still really annoying though and that it isnt fixed yet is criminal.
@@Enesko1995 thats not true, I got a 3kd multiple times as first and still got a loss. I played over 200 FFA games and I can guarantee you that the wins are completely random. In the barracks your score will always show up as 0-0 in FFA games.
@ thats weird, im always getting 3-4 kd every game atleast and im literally winning every game i play. Im #1 in FFA leaderboards with 1700 wins.
Spawns and maps are the biggest things for me outside of matchmaking.
The spawns are awful. Too stick in some game modes which makes it too easy to spawn trap. But in other modes the spawns flip way too much and make it too easy to get shot in the back.
Then also maps. The maps have pretty bad flow and that can be addressed by just adding new maps that play like traditional 3 lane maps
And obviously match making. The fact that people back out of matches so much now should tell treyarch that the sbmm they claim is so good isnt working and people are over it. You can adjust the sbmm so it still protects the lowest skill players while also allowing MM to be connection based first.
The little bugs are annoying but those are the 2 things that i think really hold the game back
Agree i was going to comment pretty much the same things. The bad spawns & spawn flipping is making/contributing to such bad map flow in tdm style modes your on edge with every move you make & spawn trapping is now just a back out of game for me its too annoying.
Sbmm i assume is making the game fun for the lowest tier players only ( who should be protected) as it feels so tightly cranked at the moment i cant casually play & once iv finished the camo grind if its still the same i dont think i can continue playing. They need to loosen sbmm so the games are more varied like the og days and not all feeling like ranked play where it feels like everyone is basically on the same level & your games dont feel like a varied experiance but manufactured. Disinsentiveses getting better because youll be punished with matchmaking so stringently so you feel like youll rarely get those pop off games when you get a lobby where you happen to be one of the better players from time to time.

Gearhead perk not working right is such a massive bummer… I used a permanent unlock on it and have made it a staple in most of my classes and a key feature just doesn’t work??? Cmon treyarch please do a hotfix

I agree... now I have a couple faves, like Cherry Blossom for example, in the special category, when I'm grinding a new weapon out I can't use that until after 100 headshots or whatever, once I've done that though I'm only going to see it for like 5-6 games rather 30 or so games depending on what weapon it is I'm getting kills or headshots with so special camos kinda just be obsolete by the time you have them and unlock the ability to use them not so long after you already have Gold, like you stated.
its even worse in zombies when you can get gold within one game, essentially bypassing any special camos that you may have used

@@joecrow7666 They- and most people, frankly- prefer gold and the other mastery camos at the end of the day. But this doesn't mean that it isn't incredibly lame that your main alternatives to the bland headshot camos are all locked until you've already nearly unlocked that gold. It's like getting a free apartment when you're a week away from moving into a new house.
I 100% agree with the feedback you provided and that the solo experience needs to be addressed, I can't stand playing solo mp. For the UI additions it would be amazing to have the dot's above friendlies and objective markers opacity be adjustable so they don't get in the way during gun fights.

The harp is still broken if UAV’s are called in while it’s active, causing the UAV ping condition to disrupt the real time tracking of the harp. I’ll have to tell my team not to use UAV’s until the harp expires.

One thing I'd really love to see is being able to unequip weapons. Having classes that are only secondary or only melee was something I enjoyed in some past cods. When grinding camos, having to swap weapons after every death, especially in face off, is tedious, annoying, and can often get you killed.

6:28 This is a really important point. The matchmaking, this year more than ever, seems to be creating extremely unbalanced games. It’s blowout after blowout, one way or the other. That’s boring at best and very frustrating at worst, so I can’t blame people for backing out - admittedly, I do too.
Then the problem becomes filling the empty slots, but joining an in-progress game on the losing team is frustrating for the same reason players left - it was a blowout. So of course no one wants to join that game and will probably go straight back to the lobby as soon as they’re put in.
None of this would be a problem if the matchmaking system was better.
To encourage people to stay in a losing game when they were put into it AFTER the match has started is to give the player the option to keep are throw away the stats of the game. IF i get thrown into a losing match, I want that option if they expect me to stay. I also want 5 seconds of spawn protection until the match turns or balances IF the losing team starts to make a come back.
Mine must be reverse blowouts because Jesus Christ, everything goes great ill even attain all my streaks yet the opposing team just flips a switch and its a wrap.
The opposing team ALWAYS knows how to adjust while my team is insanely trying the same thing over and over

Yes, yes, yes!! To almost everything you mentioned great video!! Only thing I would add to this is the distance between where players spawn on top of you and in all hc modes remove the gun chambering.
They need to put 10v10 back on the front page. Since it was added to quick play, my ping and search times have gone way up!! When it was on the front page with the other featured playlists there were no problems like this at all. 6v6 still works fine for me.
I’ve seen some other players mention this same problem, but for some others there isn’t an issue. Kind of a weird problem but I mainly play this mode and it’s been so laggy to play lately that now I have nearly zero interest to play.
It's the best gamemode that's fast paced and allows you actually get a shit ton of kills 6v6feels slow ass hell and there all small maps
I'm someone who enjoys alternating between 6v6 and 10v10. As convenient as it seems for someone like me to have it in the Quick Play filters so that there's a chance of it popping, it *never* comes up in a regular queue without forcing it in the filters. And casual players now never see the mode at all because they won't go out of their way to force it via the filters menu vs. clicking a separate, very visible 10v10 playlist button on a whim. It feels like such a massive UI/UX blunder and it's completely killed the population and queue times for 10v10.
@@NormalSuitNick it’s wild isn’t it! It was even worse in MWII, as soon as it got added to quickplay it completely died out. And of course before that when they had 10v10, 10v10 dome 24/7, or 10v10 shoot house 24/7 on the front page it loaded up 20 players just as quickly as shipment 24/7 6v6!
I would think they would have the data on this and would therefore change it back to what it was, for 10v10 you gotta keep that shit populated.
10v10 stopped working in MWII during MWIII unfortunately and they removed it from MW 2019 during MWII. I’m glad it’s in BO6 though but they should fix the previous issues.
@@ShootzFPSyeah I had that issue in MWII as well (btw 10v10 and Petrov Oil Rig annoyingly got removed from MW 2019 a couple years back or so and they didn’t address that). Idk why 10v10 in Quick Play is an issue - it should be fairly popular.
Thank you for mentioning the Search and Destroy bugs. Crazy they haven't been fixed after all this time. There still seems to be a match bonus glitch on SnD where it doesn't give it every time.
Quartermaster has been broken since season 1 update dropped btw. The listed effects don't work fully as intended (stims don't recharge in half the time and axe doesn't stack more than 1), and it was perfectly fine pre season
In MW3 when entering a match after the start, it had no stop-loss on your combat win/loss record. If your team lost, even if you joined in last minute, you took a loss. Now that glitch or change has continued with BO6. I hope they change this back to how previous COD games worked cause win/loss record matters to me and it's not your fault if server brings you in late.

It might be just you. It felt like my lobbies were easier honestly, if anything. It’s just my take against yours though. It’s most likely that nothing changed.

I noticeably had higher SBMM around friday or saturday for a day or 2, but I think by monday and maybe even sunday it was normal. I'm pretty confident they were doing some player engagement statistical testing to see what play times would be with higher SBMM.
Make 2v2 Gunfight a permanent game mode. And fix the issues with in the game mode to be similar to previous titles, give us tournaments with prizes/unlocks for winning such tournaments. Currently Babylon the map you can just shoot through the map and hit the enemies once the count down started and you can see the enemy highlighted in Orange as the count down timer is ticking. No announcer when the enemy is capping the flag, no damage is displayed on the score board either.
I would love to see everyone's calling card in the lobby pre match, and rank/prestige icons with their names in game. This could potentially go far in making the multiplayer feel more like a community without dealing with the painful matchmaking that they aren't going to change.
Appreciate you keeping those of us who've stopped playing BO6 up to date on the current state of the game. Hopefully they course correct soon and it'll actually be enjoyable, especially for solo players.

THANK YOU for talking about the FFA defeat bug! It seems like unless big RUclipsrs bring things like this up, they'll stay in the game indefinitely. Another creator talked about this too, but it's still an issue.
For those unaware, in Free for All the win condition is supposed to be extremely simple. 30 kills gets the win. Top 3 placement is determined by the # of kills in descending order. This has never worked properly in BO6.
On launch, it went by score instead of kills. Meaning you could get 30 kills but lose to someone who got more assists. With the launch of season 1, it's completely busted in a different way. The kills technically count properly, but now when someone enters a match late, the loss prevention will randomly kick one of the top 3 players out of the winner's circle entirely and give them a defeat. Meaning the top 3 can be the 3 bottom players on the scoreboard...
Honestly, I still don't know the actual calculation for how it places late entrants. But I do know even if it's just one player coming in late, you can get 30 kills and get "defeat" and 4th place or worse. Sometimes you get 30 kills and 2nd or 3rd place. The win condition is completely broken and Treyarch hasn't said a PEEP about it.

My biggest complaint is not only the tactical,lethal and smoke spamming it’s supposed to be a gun game. It’s also the effects of those grenades. We shouldn’t have to use a thermal scope just to see the enemy. I would love if they just dumped grenades altogether and we got back to gun fights.

Wow absolutely not, grenades and tacticals are your best tool to disrupt enemies that are set up. If a team has an area locked down the only way you're getting in is by throwing something in there.
You know what they need when it comes to faster, reload and bigger Mag is hybrid mags. They should add the hybrid magazine so that way you have bigger magazine and faster reload speed.
Can’t fix these issues. Too busy making raccoon and baboon skins.

I think he was pretty much done there in any meaningful capacity before even Cold War ( which I liked). But regardless, the black ops he was involved with were the best imo.
We need fast extended mags too, like from Cold War. Having more ammo plus reloading faster is a GODSEND. Obviously balance it out so it affects your handling stats more severely.

the hate is always there, just that the love overshadows it at the start, and slowly but surely dies down, as more bugs pop up, and as more and more people get frustrated with the matchmaking experience. also like at the start, more people are playing the campaign, and that also slowly dies out

Absolutely agree with a request for the return of a Mercenary Playlist. I've been wanting this to return wo badly. They also really need to clean up the party indicators like you said. Solo players do not need a line next to them, only parties of 2 or more.
If I have a “packet burst” icon I automatically back out. I’m not going to play a full game with damage sponges for enemies.
Your win lose ratio must be so bad
It’d be nice to be able to care about that ratio but with all of the other external variables affecting match outcomes (like match making systems) I just can’t bring myself to care. I’m also pretty likely to lose games where I’m a desync casualty. Not 100% but usually that’s the case.
About player collision, swap the status between allies and enemies; getting snagged on allies and having enemies slide through your legs are both bad
I agree with just about everything you suggested. One little addition though that I think would be great and would harm no one, even if most players never use it, is add a 4v4 or 5v5 "Team Tactical" playlist since the maps are just way too small too be enjoyable in 6v6 and clearly that's not something that can really be fixed at this point
There is also a bug on controller, when you hold R3 to prone, your character bobs up and down essentially, so it crouches, then stands up again, then goes down to prone. It’s literally gotten me killed 100s of times, why is no one else talking about it? I have replicated it consistently on an old controller and then a brand new out of the box dualsense edge, using different buttons (first tried r3 and then r2)

1. Remove SBMM (from casuals)

Ace - I love your videos - however - BO6 is simply Garbage. This game is by far the least interesting and annoying cod I’ve played. Team balancing is terrible, SBMM is manipulative and questionably rigged. I’ve found a solution - uninstall and play marvel rivals.
Thank you for bringing up mercenary lobbies, I have been wanting merc lobbies back ever since they took them out. I play solo 9/10 times, playing against well coordinated parties combined with SBMM is borderline impossible

Another missing QoL feature is allowing hybrid scopes to remain on the most recently used level of zoom after death. Aside from being a tedious exercise having to change zoom every time, it can get you killed when you’re getting into a sudden engagement straight after a respawn
9:30 Ninja is even more broken than you pointed out. Yes, every round based gamemode you have to re-select your loadout on every round, but on top of that your ninja can stop working at random on any life in any gamemode atleast in ranked. You don’t even always notice it and your teammate has to point out that you’re making hella footstep noise and then you have to re-select your loadout
This is the first time I've heard someone talk about making separate HUD's on zombies and mp. This seems like it would be such an easy change but it would be a HUGE improvement.
It's been said countless times in the comments, but please, for the love of COD, stop resetting, eliminating and changing my classes and operators upon entering Prestige.
I think existing maps should definitely get some adjustments. They don't have to be rebuilt from the ground up. Some would be vastly improved with small changes like added/removed cover to improve flow and prevent easily exploited headglitch spots and areas with very poor visibility. I hate that the maps that are objectively bad and unanimously disliked just have to sit in the game and never get voted for. It would take some map designers and env artists no time at all to adjust them, at least compared to creating new maps. See what BF2024 did where they reworked every single launch map because they were so poorly designed and tested the first time around when the game was rushed during its development. They went from the worst set of BF maps ever to mostly being fun.
Mercenary playlist was my jam... back in black ops 1. I remember dabbling in it when I was home sick from school.. became a staple mode for me

I disagree with making the events special challenges. We had to fight tooth and nail just to get camo challenges to be normal, reasonable challenges that youd get naturally by playing the game. Unless the challenges were for like using a specific gun, something simple, I dont see a good reason to make the events more complicated.
Make this make sense: In Ranked...
If I win and the lobby gets booted before I'm back in the menu, no-one in the match gains or loses SR.
If I find a match and a party member gets left behind for no reason, they get a penalty and probation.
We can pick out minor issues, but they would be bearable if connection, skill based damage and eomm were fixed. Those are the things that will really lose players.
The smaller issues; Removing spawn trapping, removing or adding one or two pieces of cover on some maps, improving tacticals and the non-explosive lethals, lowering score streak values, adding a few better kill streaks, boosting smg range a little, adding more recoil again (to bring it back to what it was, before the recent update), nerfing sniper rifles, adding another shotgun and lmg, nerfing sprint speed, faster and more consistently quick loading into games, no AI generated images, no stupid skins in store.
I think a reasonable thing to ask for is "Maps Exposed"!🎉

Another perk bug, since S1 dropped Vigilance does not make you immune to scramblers anymore despite the perk description saying “immune to CUAV and scrambler.” It still counters CUAV and sleeper agent though.
Something they would never do but would make the game more playable: Team rebalancing.
This used to be a thing like a decade ago, where if most of a team left it would just shift half the team that existed over so teams were even. Suddenly a game is interesting again, instead of one team that was already dominating continuing to slaughter some people who loaded in mid match and have no idea what's going on!
I just don't understand how BO6 so many steps back from MWIII in many ways. It just seems weird that a game developed in parallel with MWIII, it would gain the same features brought into MWIII. And there's just a lot of things broken mentioned in this video that collectively become a huge annoyance. I'm basically just going to try to get Nebula to finish out the BP, and I probably won't touch the game again. I'm just bummed because I really enjoyed MWIII and played it a ton.
The one QOL thing I miss all the time is a attachment progress screen for each weapon. I have to look at each category to see what attachment is coming up.
One huge change they need to make, is having you start a hard point match loosing 100 to 0. It happens 6 out of 10 times.
Rather than change streaks, I am for them adding new ones like they did with the hand cannon.
My feedback:
- Future maps need to be structured more in a more classic 3 lane way with lanes not having 20 sidelines to be shot from at all times combined with a medium map size. Small maps should only be added to FaceOff, we don't need any more small maps than we do right now in core 6v6.
- Future maps should have more unique map locations instead of releasing so many maps with the same boring aesthetic with just different buildings and layouts (every S1 map has the same aesthetic / environment and it kills variety and personality). Right now we have like four maps with the same aesthetic pallet (Lowtown, Hideout, Extraction and Hacienda).
- Spawns need more consistency and work, it still happens too often I spawn near an enemy and objective modes are too sticky. I like them being sticky but right now you can run through the spawn and not flip them.
- Scorestreaks are very lackluster. The Attack Helicopter is just an air spotter that doesn't really kill anyone, if you are lucky you get 1 or 2 kills. The HARP can be shot down and therefore is far less effective for its score cost. On top of that the mini map coverage is way too small in this game to make it a really effective streak. Also where are the Attack Dogs? Or something like a Snipers Nest? Or something similar to the G.I. Unit but instead of a robot make it an AI controlled Juggernaut. They are boring compared to the classic streaks and even MWIII last year.
- Perk variety is pretty weak imo. I feel like Perk 1 includes all the useful perks and the other perk categories are just meh.
- Still going to mention it, SBMM and server quality can really hurt the consistent quality of the gameplay experience. It has been proven we are not always playing on 60Hz servers and it is noticeable. I get shot around cornors way too often in this game and it still happens too often that I get 10 hitmarkers and die within 2 shots.
- Player Collission is really annoying in this game again
Kinda wish they also did a throwback game modes like week with game modes like drop zone, demolition, search and rescue some of these have not made a return to my knowledge in a while. Also siege leaning would be kinda sweet with how they have the somewhat lean mechanic
4:26 the mechanic you talk about at this point is this when you spawn into a came and it keeps your loadouts up and you cannot do any aiming just shoot even if you have chosen a loadout? This happens all the time to me and then I die and get mad
We don’t have the life counter in headquarters, which is just a counter that shows how many defenders are alive. Every other cod with HQ mode has had it
