I wish they will finally notice that RAPP-H have a 75 round mag by the default, but for some reason, you can unlock this mag at lvl 2 of this gun... Always hated that thing.
glad to see the LMGs getting a little love. They limited their mag sizes and penetration so badly in this game. It rarely makes sense to run them when you can use an AR with 60 rounds and 1/4 reload speed.
The only things I care about is making stocks more viable in general,no aiming stability penalty for most muzzles (silencers I get) I mean gunplay is fairly fun I'd say and attachments are in a decent spot. Muzzles are fine, grips are fine, using HV or not basically unless you want an attachment tuning benefit for target flinch rounds, grips are decent I suppose, and lasers are great for hip builds and warzone
Nah cod was better when a fully modded gun was 50% better than the same gun with no attachments, the whole system is horrible, youd have to be an idiot to add all these attachments and most of them are useless

However it does feel too small to be touted as full news worthy changes, that might as well be their slogan for the season 3 update, "barely noticeable changes" (unless it's to the store bundles)
Lot of half measures with minimal impact on the player experience. Most barrels and stocks are still useless. No stock attachments need a massive buff.
I still don't know why they don't show you these numbers in the gunsmith. Cold Wars gunsmith was awesome because of that reason. I lik the slide bars, but having the bars WITH the numbers would be a nice QOL improvement.
No need. When you use them you inevitably get shot literally right after you finish reloading. Especially when you are trying to shoot down an enemy chopper gunner. /s I don't think they affect much other than killstreaks and shooting enemies behind cover in 6v6.
Can you check if bomb squad has had a secret nerf as i seem to be dieing from more explosions now than over the last few months because i’m sure one of your videos stated it had to be a direct hit from a launcher to be a one shot kill

I'm confused how you rank whether it's a significant buff/nerf. Like 5ms on some attachments is huge but 7ms or like 10% is negligible, or a .07m/s nerf is huge, but a .1m/s buff is negligible (not specifically about this video, just something I noticed by watching you cover all the MW2 content)

He is showing how long it takes to ADS because it has a very defined "end" where you reach as ADS'd as you will be. Movement speed is meters per second because is going to be a continuous rate of moving with no specific "end" like there is with ADS. And I'm mostly trying to compare the same metrics here and saying relatively similar numbers are seen as vastly different for some reason.
I guess it depends on the context. If an attachment went from hurting ads by 120ms and now only hurts by 115, that's not a big deal. But an attachment going from helping by 12ms to helping by 17ms, its a bigger portion of how much it helps, but perhaps more importantly it will push it into the next frame, 16-17~ ms is a frame at 60fps. So i guess at 90 or 120fps its more noticable. If it gets you 1 exta frame faster ads speed when before it only made you say, 2 frames faster, isnt than an extra 50% 'performance'? Tbh im probably totally wrong, i don't really know the hell im talking about im iust wildly guessing at this point

You are also right about it being a bigger proportional change, but it affects the end result exactly the same. Maybe ace is taking into account the negatives of the attachments? No he didn't. He made a flinch video where he compared weapon categories and determined the effectiveness of the flinch grip, +p rounds and focus. Later he covered the +p ammo and the ar/ smg flinch. I am looking for a comparison of the sniper rifles and an overview of the flinch attachments added sinse then and how the stack.
tiny adjustments like these make no god damn difference. what is the point of a 7ms difference lmfao. in most situations, the pros that attachments give will never make a difference, whereas the cons penalize you brutally. honestly the whole attatchment system doesnt make sense. if everything has small unnoticable / barely noticable pros and cons, then there should be no attatchment limit so that a multitude of attatchments, if built properly, would make a genuine difference. but if you want attatchments to be limited, then each one needs to make a noticable difference to your gun. in the current state, we have limited attatchments with pros and cons, and in most situations the pros are barely noticable or dont make a difference in most gun fight situations. i can see why most people opt for running only a couple attatchments, or only attatchments that have little to no cons. honestly most of the time i just build my gun to look cool bc at least i can have some fun from that.

Hip fire movement spread was definitely buffed for the lachman sub I made a mp5k build with no stock and short barrel and thing would miss over half the shots fired @ 5m but now most actually hit target on the move while hip firing
For wz the mag buff helps with the mp7, but for mp i run the default 40rd. I dont think you need more than that in core and definitely not in hc. So this really only helps in wz. I still want to see faster ads/stf times across all the SMGs. More movement speed.
Looking at the general movements, it like playing as a turtle compared to the so much faster paced & fun predecessor! Look at an old WZ1 video, it looks so much more fun and exiting. Hopefully the “massive movement overhaul” will come. CoD could have been so much better with a few gameplay changes 🙁
MWII's movement is garbage. They had a perfect movement template with MW19 and they ruined it. All they had to do was nerf slide canceling and it would have been the best movement system ever.
@@Skrenja they wanted it slower. MW19 slide canceling was a glitch they couldn't remove, same as reload canceling. Add in how they reworked the movement system to have "forward" and "gun up tac sprint" they removed the very idea of run and gun. Plus there's no good Quickdraw, stalker, sleight of hand perk stuff. You could normally throw together a SMG, throw on some perks and either have unlimited sprint, move faster, strafe faster, ADS 25% faster, have a tighter hip fire, or eliminate "sprint out", all while being able to reload cancel, so most guns took maybe 1.1seconds, now it's 1.8. All of those are basically gone, so you can't augment a rushing playstyle. If you want to move you have to tac sprint, and you CANNOT tac sprint if enemies are close, you'll have a sprint out of 250+ in a game with a 175TTK.
The laser is way to bright. Its like Walking with a construction lamp around the map, every ones sees you, or the other way around. Very annoying. So some lasers wouldnt be used now, due to that brightness.
last night i realized how important aim walking stability is. i noticed that the aim walkinging vertical bounce without firing bounces over heads even at relatively shot distances 💀 ace you gotta play DMZ solo for it to be a real challenge, and a comparable intensity as multiplayer :)
Crazy to think that improving weapon handling by -20ms on ads speed would make the game feel better. The game feels the exact same with how slow it is in general.
That semi-auto Squall gameplay in the background... sweet! I'm loving the semi auto squall... it even benched my beloved FTac. However, I'm still confused and can't decide on the open bolt delay on it.... sometimes I feel it ( or I think I do), and others I don't (or I think I don't).... have you 100% determined if it does or doesn't have OBD in semi auto, or WHEN it does? If it does, TTKwise, it makes it the worst semi-auto battle rifle by FAR, so even it having OBD wouldn't make sense...
@@Goldendroid well... if it DOES have open bolt delay of 45ms in semi... it means it's a 45ms TTK to the head... vs 0ms on the other 1 shot/headshot battle rifles. So open bolt delay on this gun on semi.... very very bad.
How do the new speeds on the heaven barrel stack up against suppressors cause that might be where you see the change. Instead of using a suppressor for a bullet velocity increase you can use the heavy barrel and also get better recoil maybe🤷♂️🤷♂️
I really wish they would buff rear grips, especially the ads grip. In mw 2019 (testing the m13) the stippled grip gave you a 11 ms ads reduction whereas in MW2, the ads grip gives you a 7 ms. This might not seem like a big change, but the longest barrel in MW19 gives you a 41ms increase whereas the MW2 one gives you a 102 ms increase. With this attachment combination, in mw19 you get a 30ms ads penalty, but in MW2 you get a 76ms penalty. Also MW19's barrel gave you better velocity (425 vs 119💀), gave you a range increase which this one doesn't , more recoil control and less movement penalties. They really need to get rid or atleast tone down the negative impacts, or give better positive impacts

Negligible changes. All I wanted was an increase to ALL the base animation speeds, like weapon reload, swap, calling killstreaks, using field upgrades, movement speeds (they did increase sliding and firing after diving speeds, it's negligible tho) This game really is a torture to play.
They nuked reload canceling. They lowered movement speed and added tac sprint in. If they wanted to increase the speed they'd have to increase base movement, remove the "gun up" sprint, lower sprint out, increase strafe, add in reload cancel/YYing. Still won't help the servers being terrible lol.

They need to stop harming ADS speed so much. It's ridiculous how much attachments slow you down. Pros should very clearly outweigh the cons. I don't want to avoid an attachment just because the cons are too harsh. I want to avoid an attachment because another attachment seems more attractive, not because it slows me down too much.
Buffs to attachments are always welcome. I can't help but feel these changes are coming WAY too late. We told them about the ridiculous penalties from day 1 of the beta and yet they didn't do anything significant. They really dropped the ball on this game and I'm more excited to play xDefiant and having that itch to play the game.compared to MWII.
LMGs are in a really bad space. Since the gunsmith system, you've normally been able to kit out LMGs close to ARs, or occasionally into CQC weapons(eg MW19 and turning the FINN into the SAW where you couldn't ADS at all but got a tight tight hip fire. The RPK basically ends up being built into a shitty AK. The Icarus into a shitty M4. TTK is fast, aiming is slow, so there's already no margin for error. Going into gunfights with a 170ms ADS gun with 5 debuffs to recoil so the gun is useless past 20m vs SMGs that can ADS in 80 and stay on target is just unpleasant.
Respect for the data, but Isaac, you can still feel this difference without a hella GFX card. Speaking from a old as fu school perspective, member UT2kx? Anyway, whilst I expect your evaluation to hold weight, tactile response of the mechanics (ie guns) will always outstrip the display. Hope your're welle and lets go season 3! Prove me wrong!
Yeah after making the dumbest "adjustments" to the sprint to fire speed this is the minimum least i expected them to do, ADS is even more of a problem in multiplayer when you can't even take all that time to aim since the TTK is so short

Players are still weaponizing the report feature and the shadowbanning is hurting the ability to complete the battlepass and get ranked rewards before the season ends. Is there anyway us as a community can make a big enough stink to get someone within Activision to act on the issue?
It’s to bad this games life cycle is the standard one year. I also had a lot of doubt in COD as far as it being playable and now I am feeling a bit sad this game will be left in the dust when I think it has so much more potential and I hope they don’t leave this games engine and movement

All long-range barrels in this game must honestly have their ads plus magnitude cut to the 1/4th it's ridiculous.

It depends on the stat, .1 ms is a huge difference in aim walking speed but it’s negligible if was .1 ms to ADS speed

The laser is way to bright. Its like Walking with a construction lamp around the map, every ones sees you, or the other way around. Very annoying. So some lasers wouldnt be used now, due to that brightness.
I thought that you know, cod being cod, that they would nerf everything so it's slower since it's clear as day they don't want people to be moving.

Fantastic to see buffs rather than them randomly adding like 50ms to ads for no reason
last night i realized how important aim walking stability is. i noticed that the aim walkinging vertical bounce without firing bounces over heads even at relatively shot distances 💀 ace you gotta play DMZ solo for it to be a real challenge, and a comparable intensity as multiplayer :)
Vel 46 30rd mag got a huge movement buff, zooming around on solos!!

Crazy to think that improving weapon handling by -20ms on ads speed would make the game feel better. The game feels the exact same with how slow it is in general.
Did they change blueprint tuning that removed death effects and tracers cause that season 3 thing to remove those is stupid!!

That semi-auto Squall gameplay in the background... sweet! I'm loving the semi auto squall... it even benched my beloved FTac. However, I'm still confused and can't decide on the open bolt delay on it.... sometimes I feel it ( or I think I do), and others I don't (or I think I don't).... have you 100% determined if it does or doesn't have OBD in semi auto, or WHEN it does? If it does, TTKwise, it makes it the worst semi-auto battle rifle by FAR, so even it having OBD wouldn't make sense...

@@Goldendroid well... if it DOES have open bolt delay of 45ms in semi... it means it's a 45ms TTK to the head... vs 0ms on the other 1 shot/headshot battle rifles. So open bolt delay on this gun on semi.... very very bad.

45ms is faster than any human can react.
How do the new speeds on the heaven barrel stack up against suppressors cause that might be where you see the change. Instead of using a suppressor for a bullet velocity increase you can use the heavy barrel and also get better recoil maybe🤷♂️🤷♂️
I really wish they would buff rear grips, especially the ads grip. In mw 2019 (testing the m13) the stippled grip gave you a 11 ms ads reduction whereas in MW2, the ads grip gives you a 7 ms. This might not seem like a big change, but the longest barrel in MW19 gives you a 41ms increase whereas the MW2 one gives you a 102 ms increase. With this attachment combination, in mw19 you get a 30ms ads penalty, but in MW2 you get a 76ms penalty. Also MW19's barrel gave you better velocity (425 vs 119💀), gave you a range increase which this one doesn't , more recoil control and less movement penalties. They really need to get rid or atleast tone down the negative impacts, or give better positive impacts
But you can tune to make up that difference
@@habijjj you're still not getting as much benefits as mw19. Plus half the time even tuned ads attachment do not manage to overcome the ads penalty even to the extent of MW19

Negligible changes. All I wanted was an increase to ALL the base animation speeds, like weapon reload, swap, calling killstreaks, using field upgrades, movement speeds (they did increase sliding and firing after diving speeds, it's negligible tho)
This game really is a torture to play.
They nuked reload canceling. They lowered movement speed and added tac sprint in. If they wanted to increase the speed they'd have to increase base movement, remove the "gun up" sprint, lower sprint out, increase strafe, add in reload cancel/YYing.
Still won't help the servers being terrible lol.
Did you already address the issue of polyatomic not being attainable? I believe I'm over 30 headshots & still its locked.

They need to stop harming ADS speed so much. It's ridiculous how much attachments slow you down. Pros should very clearly outweigh the cons. I don't want to avoid an attachment just because the cons are too harsh. I want to avoid an attachment because another attachment seems more attractive, not because it slows me down too much.

Buffs to attachments are always welcome. I can't help but feel these changes are coming WAY too late. We told them about the ridiculous penalties from day 1 of the beta and yet they didn't do anything significant.
They really dropped the ball on this game and I'm more excited to play xDefiant and having that itch to play the game.compared to MWII.
LMGs are in a really bad space. Since the gunsmith system, you've normally been able to kit out LMGs close to ARs, or occasionally into CQC weapons(eg MW19 and turning the FINN into the SAW where you couldn't ADS at all but got a tight tight hip fire.
The RPK basically ends up being built into a shitty AK. The Icarus into a shitty M4.
TTK is fast, aiming is slow, so there's already no margin for error. Going into gunfights with a 170ms ADS gun with 5 debuffs to recoil so the gun is useless past 20m vs SMGs that can ADS in 80 and stay on target is just unpleasant.
Did they add an attachment that makes the game fun?
They need to tone down laser visibility at least meet in the middle from where it was and now

Yeah after making the dumbest "adjustments" to the sprint to fire speed this is the minimum least i expected them to do, ADS is even more of a problem in multiplayer when you can't even take all that time to aim since the TTK is so short
If you're so butthurt about TTK go and try the OG MW2 soyboy, TTK was shorter back then

@TheXclusiveAce I know you already covered this issue 9 months ago, but wow the reporting and shadowban system has been awful lately. Players are still weaponizing the report feature and the shadowbanning is hurting the ability to complete the battlepass and get ranked rewards before the season ends. Is there anyway us as a community can make a big enough stink to get someone within Activision to act on the issue?

It’s to bad this games life cycle is the standard one year. I also had a lot of doubt in COD as far as it being playable and now I am feeling a bit sad this game will be left in the dust when I think it has so much more potential and I hope they don’t leave this games engine and movement
yeah sire they're making attachments more viable but we still need fast mags, jungle style mags, dual mags, in short we need way more mag attachments
Instead of mag attachments to help reload speed you have the fast hand perk.
