Awesome episode as usual mate. Btw it's a "covey" of quail. Thanks again for taking us along. Thanks for taking the time to upload. Until next time. Take care.
Awesome again clay mate yeah shame about the rabbit 🐇 yeah it looked a bit low you could see you were going for the engine bay probably not far off like you said he probably ended up in his burrow next time exciting fishing 🎣 again to mate and always love 💕 the cooking segment yummy 😋 just as much as you love ❤️ to cook 👨🍳 cheers clay mate all the best to you clay mate and your son all ways a good show thanks cheers 🥃Colin 🤠🇦🇺🎣😘
Will definitely give that turban a try. I’ve always seen them while diving and hadn’t thought much of them but will put some in the bag next time. Thanks for the insight
fantastic video, love the way you explain everything, never gets boring. You inspired me to give those turbans another try. Last time I tried them I just boiled them up and wasn't too impressed although my wife loved them. I think cooking them up as you did in the video with some nice garlic and butter is the way to go. Also very helpful how you explained which are the good parts to use.
Great video Clay, Where I come from originally Christchurch Dorset (used to be Hampshire) a flock of Quails was called a Bevy by the local Hunter gatherers, local names for rabbits was Coneys and Pheasants were called Cannys, we used to get most rabbits with ferrets and nets and shotguns using 5 shot cartridges.
G’day Clay, another great video from a living legend, even though your current setup with the braided line and swivel with mono works well, have you thought about trying fluorocarbon leader instead of mono? Also maybe do a knot joining the braid to the leader? Best quick knot to do when your in a rush or middle of a hot bite I suggest a double uni knot, great knot strength and quick to do. All the best Matt McDonald
I can never understand in this day and age when we have rifles that are capable of instant kill shots people still use inhumane ways of hunting, I like hunting as much as the next guy but I’ve never want to risk injuring an animal and having a limp off in pain it’s just not honourable
At some stage in your hunting life it is always inevitable that one day your shot placement will be less than perfect. Secondly a heart shot animal is often a dead running animal. I have heart shot deer and had them go up to 120 meters just to track them stone cold dead. That rabbit was a heart shot. He would have been dead in his borrow within seconds.
If you dont like watching a hunting video mate dont watch it. People will always miss some time its just how it goes. Rabbits are a pest in Nz and so should be culled any way possible
Hey bro in the states it's a Covey of quail ! pronounced cuv=vee. super tasty love hunting them my kid loves them but doesn't hunt them with me, Chur keep it up bro from Bend , Oregon !
@0:22. Of heaven exists in a different realm I would hope it looks like that. But for now I’m happy with the heaven on earth which, either sinner or saint, get to enjoy. And man where you live really is heaven.

Roll your shelfish creation in some rice and seaweed, then you'd have 'Kiwi Clay classic sushi' 😝
