- 6 Challenging days, 115km, Camping, Fishing, Catching & Cooking Wild Native Brook Trout in the world class Algonquin Park Wilderness. My brother @JimBairdAdventurer & I catch many beautiful trout and cook them over the campfire. We see several moose, waterfalls, visit an old historical off grid cabin and soak in some of the history of the park. We are joined by @MySelfReliance for part of the trip as well as meet up with @XanderBudnick Both Great company and excellent outdoorsman. Adventure Dogs Callie and North come along for the adventure as well who's company is always welcome.

Another great north woods escape for us in the lower 48. Epic paddling, camping, lake and sunset scenes, great fishing. Ted catches way more in this one & possibly "we need a bigger pan!" (Jim, steal Ted's tackle box and blame it on North)

Awesome trip. Watched Jim's already. I know your meeting with Xander Budnick was planned, but it was fun to see you run into 2 other youtubers I follow, Derek S and Kev in the wild. Algonquin just draws you like that, I still feel the call of the loons. Loved the peepers too.
Thaks yes it was cool to bump into them fir sure. Xander meet us was also just a maybe so that was cool it worked out also. Also bumped into photographer James Page he's in instagram as James Page Wilderness. Pretty cool ti see everyone out enjoying the park 🛶

Great vid Ted, you guys got hammered with some weather on day 2 eh! Good to see the route from your perspective and the way you describe the surroundings. It was cool seeing you guys out there at the start of your trip 👍👍👍
"You know you're pushing it when you are still out there paddling when spring peepers come out" 😅.. there is definitely a lot of those days to be able to finish this route in a short number of days.

It seems North was fine when Ted came to shore and North greeted Him. Was it the bone he was gnawing on?
You never know and you're right he did seem totally fine at camp that night. But I think in the end he must have slipped a disk or something in his back that seized up in him for a few days. Good news is he's back at 💯

Glad to see you back bud! Great video and pics. What camera do you guys use? I am thinking of getting one so that I can take better close up and videos of wildlife and scenery. I was thinking of getting a Canon T7 but not sure if that would be a good starter camera or not.
Thanks. I currently use a Panasoniz FZ300 for those longer shots. It's light and has a 20-600 zoom 2.8 throughout lense. It is not great in low light because of sensor size and has a bit of a rolling shutter but it is excellent for what it's excellent at. I also have a Sony mirrorless but do not have a zoom lense at the moment.
