Donated a lot of dishes from Zone 2 last evening. The Alzheimer’s charity came and we filled their long bed pick up truck with donations from around the house. We also had unused construction items collected as well! My son went through his walk in closet and we now have a fifty gallon bag of clothing to take to the Homeless Center later today. A hot 90F today, with storms breaking the unusual heat for us. So no Friday car wash! I can get a bit of trimming and repotting done , though. Looks like grilled sausages and garden salad for dinner. So good to see your cheery self!
Late to your party but I am very impressed with your energy and success. I am doing a 40 day declutter here on my own and feeling good. Stormy and rainy here on the Treasure Coast of Florida.

So interesting to see your criterion for discarding clothes- you are lucky having the swap parties- I would be happier to know who is happy to receive my clothes, though I don’t think I know people who would be the same size !
I’m embarrassed to admit how many beauty products I’d hoarded before quarantine, saving them for a special occasion. Since we’ve been home, I’ve made it a point to use a pamper product each day. I’m loving these moments and am actually having fun using up the products!

You always look fantastic in your lovely clothes, Diane. I am a scruff bag and live in jeans. I rarely find clothes I like and then I end up keeping them 'for best' and never wearing them. You inspire me to make more of an effort. X

I am in the bathroom this week and am so happy about how much I have decluttered and minimalised since last autumn. We used to have a high shelve with doors, two large drawers under the sinks and five baskets with toys, hair brushes, shower products etc. next to the tub. Some months ago I decluttered so much stuff that we could get rid of the shelf and one basket and today I decluttered and rearranged the drawers again so that the bath toys fit in as well. I decided to get rid of the baskets for toys and shower products and now it's only the drawers, two baskets and three bottles. I it so soothing and peaceful! ☺️

Great clothes swap party giveaway
Love the shirt! Next Monday I will be starting my 2nd month of full Flylady mode. Last month I got so much done in the bedrooms. Biggest surprise was I found a favorite bracelet in my jewelry armoire that I thought I had lost! I decluttered the armoire and can actually see what I have and treat the jewelry with some respect. I did a quick sweep of my closet and pared it down some. Can’t wait to jump back in next week. Rah Rah Rah for Flylady! Have a great weekend.

Hi Diane 🙋🏻♀️🌸 Interesting - I like the slightly wider necklines and the loosely falling cut on blouses and sweaters. This is the difference between 1/4 and 1/2 in DYT. But it also has to do with the bodytype. I have narrow hips and more curves at the top. To know your style helps. 💕 Thanks for the great video. 🙏🤗

I fought the DYT for so long and then, it JUST was obvious to me! I often want all of the T2 stuff but then feel TOO flowy and have to remember my oneness.

I've learned about myself that for some reason, my eyes are drawn to those floaty, floppy, boho-type clothes, but I never like them on me. I've never checked out the Dressing Your Truth system. Very curious, so I'll give it a look.
Good morning! My week went quickly as well! We’ve had lots of rain earlier this week, now the heat comes and my garden has taken off, but so has the weeds 🤨. I’m going out after breakfast and pull a few of the weeds, and spray the rest with vinegar to take advantage of the heat.

Perfect timing Diane....I decluttered mine and my daughters wardrobe a day or two ago. Didn't do the 15mins though,but it works for me to get it all done in one go while my husband had the kids....most of the time with my zone cleaning I do an hour to an hour and a quarter altogether! Your outfit is beautiful as always....happy Friday x

Need to start paying more attention to each item and how i feel wearing it. Love how confident you are in your style and can tell when something just isn’t working for you. After I watched this video yesterday, your baby steps videos from a while back came on automatically. (I was doing a big clean on the living room). The difference in how you looked then to now was striking. You were always bonnie, but now your look is more vibrant, softer and younger. A side by side comparison is a great advert for dressing your truth. I think you got it right!!

The charity shops are finally doing pick ups her in Southern California. I got rid of 6 large garbage bags and several boxes of items. Still not done, I had to stop because of the lockdown and no where to take things. My next big projects are the garage and garden shed.

You can find linen that's more structured and also lightweight. Linen is a very beneficial fabric and healing, as well. Please don't dismiss it.

Love your top today and the colours in it. I watched an old video from three years ago you did on getting started on flylady. It makes so much sense, I’m still working on evening routine. This has been a very productive week for me, cleaned the living room rug, washed down all the hardwood floor in the living room and restored it, it looks like new! Thanks for all your motivation, next job is getting into our walk in wardrobe! I like your idea of putting colours together, will try to do that.

Thanks Diane for another lovely video. I have been reading about DYT and I think I'm a type 4 (even though I don't really love some of the example patterns/outfits I've seen). Anyway, I am growing in my knowledge about DYT..I am not even close to determining my secondary type yet but next time you are discussing DYT can you comment on how you secondary type influences your outfit choices? Know you can't answer all the things you are asked but if you could clear up for me the High School-University thing I would appreciate it. Last year when I was in some countries in Europe they called High School what we would call College or University here in the states.

I need to declutter the last synthetic-fiber items from my wardrobe. I banned new purchases of them years ago, but thought “these ones I will wear, they’re so cute”. Haven’t worn any if them even once, it’s time for me to get real. They are just too uncomfortable, hot and clammy when it’s warm, cold and clammy when it’s not, and always irritating and rough. Thank goodness I stopped buying them, regardless of how pretty they look.
Going to fill up my car with gas today.
