I know I say it on almost all your videos but you are just too darling for words. Your videos always lift my spirits. God bless you dear 🙏 You are touching so many lives during an especially challenging time. You give so much to us. Please remember to give a little extra to you. ❤
That dress is lovely and looks wonderful on you! 💕
Wow! Diane, I really love this idea of a clothing swap party! I wish I could visit you in Denmark, but not really for the clothing. It seems like you have wonderful friends and I wish I had more friends. For the first time in my life, I'm finding myself very lonely because my Mother died a year ago and two of my closest friends have moved away. I'm feeling sad today, but when I watch you I feel better. Thank you for your encouragement with keeping things organized at home.
Loving the mermaid T-shirt, very appropriate for a winter bather!
Ha ha, yes, Elizabeth!
Soo awesome! Nice to watch people get together again 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
Morning! Thank you for the little visit to the clothes swap party! I love it when you take us with you! 💕👍🏻😘
Cute stuff! I always give my decluttering items to the local Salvation Army store. As my mom always said, one person’s trash is another’s treasure!
Love your clothes swap videos. My DD20 is moving into an apartment near her college next month. Last night we went to my father’s house so she could “shop” in his garage for furniture and household items. He condensed our family home into his “summer” home a couple of years ago and saved a lot of things so his grandchildren could have things as they get their first apartments. It was fun to pull out furniture, kitchen items, pictures, etc. and see what interested my daughter. Her grandpa loved passing along his things to her so it was a win-win for both of them.
I love that, Deb! She saved some money and will have some lovely memories too!
Love V’s bird tree.❤️
Loved the “I’m tempted but not going to ....” on the santa stuff only to see them at the end!!! 🤣🤣 They are super cute though!
You know me too well, Christine! 😅😅😅
Great finds and lovely to see a group of friends together, enjoying each other’s company!
I LOVE seeing your social times with the ladies!! Can we have a tour of Vibekes??? Maybe I missed if you did one!!! This friend group is So special and lovely!! So jealous!!! Thanks for taking us along!!!!
Yes, have videos of my friend's houses on this playlist 🖐🤩 ruclips.net/p/PLxIYCyTLBED_P4L-PIj6cNRC2m1Mg3Nbd
Hi, Diane, so glad to see you and your clothes swap friends again, I missed 'our' parties 🎈! I’d have taken the same things, i think, if they’d have been there a little bigger😉. I’ve some of the Ikea quiche forms, too and love to use them. As simple as they are, everything looks nice in there and I use them also for serving nuts and seeds and fruit. And I love your dress, very 'summery' and now you even got a garden hat! Haha, and you’re well prepared even for winter: lovely Merino hat and Christmas decorations🎅... Well, enough procrastination: time for 5 minutes of rescue work🤭, ra ra ra! Love, Monika❣️
Good to see you and your friends
Thursday. Got the online errands and phone calls done! Friday is promised to be will be a sunny day, so I can vac and wash the car. Have a lovely weekend!
Great garden hat!!!
Love your outfit today, beautiful! How fun to see all your friends in one place and have all that great food! You are always entertaining, and helpful, love all your media choices for us. Have a great evening!
I believe the Christmas items are gift card holders. I've seen something very similar sold before in a shop near my home.
Love the colors on your dress on your dress!
I love to be with you all at the clothes swap parties. Most especially when they are at Vibeca's home because I so admire her decor and special little touches. Hearing all the ladies' chatter, it seems clear that everyone enjoyed being together again. You might use the Christmas items as package trims, utensil holders for a buffet setting, or as party favors (fill the Santa pants with nuts and chocolates or use the snowmen to slide down on a gift bag of hot cocoa mix with marshmallows)? You will, no doubt, come up with a plan.🤗
Love the dress you have on.......so simple and flattering.
That dress looks so nice on you. So summery. That food at the clothes swap was beautiful and all so colorful and such a variety. Wish I was there. Looks like a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing!
Hey Diane ...all of those Christmas little things ARE for silverware... we have the exact same ones here in Australia ...I used them last year... including those little pants... we had a top as well for the other side as such... x
Only a TRUE mermaid would swim in the wintertime so I’m thinking that shirt is definitely for you!!! Haha. Loved being at the swap with you! How fun!
Haha! Oh Diane...you do make me laugh....I'd love to be there with you. I knew you'd go back for those Christmas things....made me laugh when you went round again and picked them up! Love your camisole, t-shirt and dress....beautiful....and can I please have the red book if it is an English/Danish dictionary and when you've finished with the craft mags, I wouldn't mind a peep at those too! ☺👍🏼 Instead of clothes swap how about 'Sip & Swap'? Can't think why!! 😉
This has really cheered me, thank you so much, and thanks to your friends, especially Vibeke for sharing with us xxx
Loved the multicolour swap shop 😅
@@DianeinDenmark me too! Noel Edmonds.....and you were either a swap shop-per or a Tiswas-er...ooh! Saturday morning 📺
I saw the little xmas pants on a flatware site! Its a knife and fork holder lol
Such a lovely party!
Dear Diane, You’re so beautiful and happy! Love your outfit. Thank you for taking me on your clothes swap party. 🎉 I’m still observing social distancing. I live in Arizona, USA and we’ve become a national laughing stock because we are the new hot spot for coronavirus. I love getting a little look into your life, it makes me feel connected to people. Thank you for being my bright spot and my cheerleader! So much love and blessings to you and your family! 💜 Sarah
Sarah L We are in MT and frightened for everyone, especially with the tourists coming in. No one is laughing. I am glad we have Diane’s encouragement, it helps me get through the week. MT hugs( socially distanced).
Jeanne Bowes Sending blessings and hugs to you and yours! 💜 Sarah
Sarah, I live in Illinois and noone is laughing here either. Hugs to you...
I wear my mask all the time--using them as fashion accessories--and I feel like others are looking down on me for complying with CDC recommendations. When they are much younger, I feel like I am living in the movie "Logan's Run" without the benefit of looking at Michael York. 😉
I dont like being looked at like my demise would help solve the Social Security funding crisis. Geesh!
Fun to see the parties resume. It's great to be getting back to some regular things like visits with friends. You found some fun items as well. Thanks for sharing.
Ahhhh...can't tell you how much I love your clothes swap parties. Seems like we're back 'home' together again. Thank you for always taking us along. (Love your dress, and your hair is just gorgeous!)
What a fun idea!
I have just recently became aware of your Princess Mary and find her very likable on RUclips. Funny to see a magazine cover with her on it. As always you clothes swap party looks so fun.
Hi Sherry! There are actually two "Mary" princesses married to the Danish princes. Marie (who is French) on the magazine cover and Mary (who is Tasmanian) 😁
Mary that is married to Frederick. Your current Queen Sophia is a doll, actually I’m kind of in love with all your Royals. You know I wouldn’t even have been interested in them if not for you. We most get British Royal news here in the states.
I always enjoy seeing the Clothes Swap party, what you take and what you bring home.
I am happy for you getting to see your lovely friends, ate wonderful dishes (Rhubarb &strawberries are my weakness😍) and you made some nice swaps! Keep enjoying life!☺
I’m more a hermit but I love our “visits”. Fun to see your day and feel your enthusiasm. Ra Ra Ra! Rock on! Peace
Tomorrow I’m getting together with three friends I haven’t seen in three months! You are so right that FaceTime and Zoom are good but there’s nothing like getting together in person. Love the dress Vibeke gave you. I knew right away it was her home with her lovely china.
Hello Diane
You look lovely in your dress
I love your clothes swap
What a nice way meet up with friends
God bless you and your family always
Thanks, Mary! Certainly did my heart good to finally see friends
food looks amazing.
Hi Diane, I love your clothes swap and items you got. It sounds so fun to go. I just set out on the porch 17 bags of items for pick up to go to the Vietnam Veterans tomorrow. My daughter just finished college and she has loads to pass on from her apartment. x
That's brilliant, Rebecca - 17 bags is amazing!!!
In Germany we celebrate Nikolaus on the 6th of December. Nikolaus puts some candy and maybe a little gift into kids' shoes over night so they find it in the morning (of course only, if they cleaned their shoes or boots thoroughly the night before 😉). I used these pants for my kids, ooops, I mean, Nikolaus used them to put a chocolate Nikolaus in there for my kids and some candy as well, in addition to their shoes.
What fun! I think the Santa's trousers are for, as you mentioned, for gift cards or small gifts.
So fun! Is this the first time I’ve heard you ask for a like? 👍🏻😊 always glad to give you like I love all your videos!
What a fun party to go to. I’d be scouring the jewelry and home goods table. Have a good week.
Very nice what a great idea!!
Loved it! The Christmas items are really cute!
Hi Diane.... Happy belated Birthday 🎂🎈!
when i seen those bowls, i knew they were going home with you.. Ive been watching you too long i think LOL
Looks like a fun day! And I do love that dress you'r wearing :)
Great video and a nice surprise for the evening in Nz. I’m inspired to organise a clothes swap with my friends.
What a fun video - love the items you chose! 💛🦋
Great choices. Good for you. I truly appreciated seeing your friends, too, because we are staying locked down. Still just talking on the phone to family and friends. Masks, six feet separation, but not venturing into stores, yet. Thanks for taking us along and inspiring us with decluttering ideas.
Just have to say your outfit is beautiful on you and you look so pretty and T1!
Woohoo ! Love your clothes swap videos. Had an impromptu swap not that long ago , just a few friends . I think i prefer small swaps but still learning what works best. Now when my swap bag gets filled i will just send out a group text and see who wants to get together. Simple and fun 🥰
I loved t o see your clothes swap!
Thanks Diane that was fun. Have a fantastic day 💐💐
You, too, Jacquelyn - always nice to hear from you!
Glad you had a good get together with friends. As soon as I saw those dishes I said ,Diana good find🌞
Enjoyed going along cant wait to go shopping at the used clothes stores have a wonderful day...joan 🦋🦋🦋
Always so much fun going along with you to the clothes swap parties. Thank you for sharing it with us!
Thanks for "joining" us, Murielle!
Great idea!
Great to see you back to clothes swapping. Congratulations! Love the summery dress. It reminds me of something from Man From UNCLE if you know that movie. So light and chic with the jewelry.
These videos make me want to visit you even more than when you show us the sights of Copenhagen! Looks like so much fun.
The Christmas items could be silverware holders for holiday dinners.
The Christmas items can probably also be used as napkin “rings” if you will. They are cute! Enjoyed watching this party! Looks like so much fun and very useful. That dress was made for u
I’m so glad you are back to clothes swapping. It feels like things are getting back to normal for you. We are still in phase 1 and things are not getting better very quickly but I live 2 hours outside of NYC.
I've seen the Santa pants stuffed with candy/treats. I have a snow man I fill with Candy Canes and hang him on our front closet door.⛄🤶🎅Smells great & you can grab a piece of mint on your way out the door. Love the idea of a roll up hat! Super cute! Great finds again. 🌻
You have inspired me to think of doing something in my own community. Recycling at its finest! Thanks for sharing. So glad you were able to get some awesome things.
Yay, enjoy your swap, Ruth!
So excited I got to watch you at the party in my pamper time with a glass of wine. Again thanks for sharing all of your videos I just love watching them all. From Australia at beer/wine o'clock.
Cheers, Tiffany! So many reasons to celebrate!
Fun!🎊😅 I think we all needed that vid! Thank you, Diane and thank you Vibeke, for your generous hospitality!💗
So glad you enjoyed it, Tina!
Hi Diane, I love all your videos but the clothes swap ones are among my favourites! And I love your dress 💗 Charity shops are still closed here in Wales but we can leave out bags of clothes for charity collection from time to time 👍
Near Cardiff - we get charities posting bags through our letterbox to fill with clothes and accessories which they collect on a certain day. Can’t declutter anything else though! Whereabouts in Wales are you?
Fun times! I’m enjoying reconnecting with friends again in real life too after not being able to do it for so long. Really lifts your spirits. 😄
It does indeed, Christine! I'm hoping to see K very soon!
Hi Dearest Di! Aa I thought it was a video camera..;) Love the new pieces.. cant believe you ds is moving out soon! ;) Yes, snowman can be used for bottles, servette holders(rolled) decor on a string/ garland/ and a puppet show(just jokes) ;) Enjoy! Love from a cooooold S.A. 💋
Ah! Super Diane! Quel plaisir de retrouver les amies! Belle journée à toi😉
Merci, Nathalie! Oui, ca faisait si bien au coeur! ❤
Rah, rah, rah‼️ I think the snowmen might be napkin rings and Santa pants for cutlery
I would love to host one of these here in my area of the U.S. it looks like so much fun to do we are always having yard sales so it might go over good cause you ont buy anything...I love your dress have fun and enjoy your new items
Santa pants...add to a bottle and tuck a card inside. Or put it on a card and tuck a prepaid card for coffee shop or something like that :)
I’m hosting my first swap party this Friday! I am so excited!!!
Oooo, how exciting, Heidi!!!
How lovely to see a clothes swop party again. I don’t think they’ll be allowed here in the UK for awhile, but it was great fun to see yours
Yes, hopefully it won't be too long for you now! My lovely old Mum is in Edinburgh and is fed up of being confined to her garden! LOL!
Hooray! 🎉🎉🎉
another great option are 'buy nothing' facebook groups. lots of towns and cities have them. you post what you're getting rid of and someone can ask to claim it. then you can transfer it however you want. i love the porch pickup - just leave out the things i'm decluttering and they disappear to a new home!
My Mom had those blue floral bowls in CT USA. Lovely table.
Hi Irene! Yes, the Royal Copenhagen china is beautiful 😃
One could use the Christmas items as napkin holders.
Love that easy breezy dress on you today. How lovely to see your friends after being separate so long. There is nothing equal to breaking bread together. 🍷😉
My guess is that the Santa pants are for filling with treats and hanging on the tree. Are there enough to apply Advent numbers? You could add loops and sew the bottoms of the snowmen if you wanted more treat holders. Otherwise, the "bottle covers" could slip over anything from a toilet-roll-cardboard to a candlestick or a bud vase, etc. OR, run a ribbon through the loops and create a garland of the treat holders. Could be a craft project for your annual craft day ☕ with Bebika. 🎄🎄🎄
I love garden parties with projected movies! So perfect for social distancing. There are versions of Sound of Music and Grease with lyrics like karaoke if people loosen up or sing along. Or do a fancy dress for showing Thoroughly Modern Millie and serve vodka and gin in flasks. I can picture all sorts doing the Charleston in your back yard. Or Hot Fuzz fancy dress...I am giggling so hard my eyes are watering right now. In my condo building it is now tradition to project Young Frankenstein every Halloween and Elf every Christmas week and we laugh hysterically at all the jokes. Of course there is plenty of popcorn...and wine. 🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷👍
What great ideas, thank you so much, Eileen! 💖
Hi Diane, looks like you and the ladies had a great time! I have only been to one swap party before but it was more of a public one where you had to buy a ticket and the proceeds went to a local charity. I definitely would love to help organize a more private personal one with my friends. A good goal for later this year. Maybe a winter holiday/clothes swap ! However, my neighborhood does have a private Facebook group where we post local happenings and issues and " curb alerts". I have gotten and given lots of great items this way! From furniture to cat food, you never know what a neighbor will post. It has been a great way to start to get to know our neighbors !
This is so cool! I always hear you talk about these on your videos and I wondered how they were organized. I should totally schedule one of these with my friends. I heard a lot of British accents - so nice you've got some other expat friends! How often do you have the parties?
Hello here, my friend! Every couple of months! 😍
The Santa pants are for the Christmas table, you put cutlery in them. Cute!
How fun! Never seen that before 🙂
Thank you so much, Monica - that makes perfect sense! Roll on Christmas! LOL!
Yes, I came to say the same. Here is a link www.walmart.com/ip/1Pair-Christmas-Decorations-Santa-Silverware-Holders-Pockets-Dinner-Decor/558344171?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=128454&&adid=22222222228263157355&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=m&wl3=313378296469&wl4=aud-430887228898:pla-762997561432&wl5=9025590&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=125211589&wl11=online&wl12=558344171&veh=sem&gclid=CjwKCAjw_qb3BRAVEiwAvwq6VqLGp2ocnLyDEKI529mceiTZDMdo8K9WANdkFCPmnlB_ABadvfyUsBoCUE8QAvD_BwE
You could also use them to give gift cards.
When I de clutter, anything that I can’t pass on to either friends or family members, I donate to our local animal charity shop. 🖖🏼🇦🇺
Having a giggle on this. What kind of clothes do the animals prefer??
@@sherryruddell3588 Very funny, Sherry!
My summer declutter challenge that I began with my Mom and Sister is still going strong. My Mom is posting way more than item EVERY day, and my sis tells me that I encourage her to try to remember something, too. You should see all of the stuff that they are letting go of!👗👭🍽🎉🎲And some things, my Mom has taken to give as gifts to her Sis!!
GLAD you had a Fun swap party 🎉🎀🎉🎈
Yay, send them my love, Julie!
@@DianeinDenmark Will Do 🎀🎉
Thanks for sharing 😊 u look beautiful i love your dress 👗👕👒👚🌷
I always wonder how those who host keep their belongings/decor from getting mixed into the swap articles 🧐
It must have been wonderful to have a normal get-together! Things are dtillstill limited here. That T-shirt is perfect for you! Could those Christmas items be gift card holders?
Cutlery holders, apparently!
@@DianeinDenmark, haha! Never would have guessed @
I LOVE the idea of clothes swap parties. Is there never an issue with sizing? And who gets to pick first, etc. ?
Everyone can take what they like, we just dive in, and we try things on to make sure they fit/suit us 😃 We are a great group of friends so no-one is fighting over things! LOL!
Are there 24 Christmas items? Could be for an advent calendar 🎅🏼
😁👍
Santa pants hold s gift card.
Could the little Christmas things be for gift cards?
They are for your forks, spoons, knife at each dinner place. Each place gets one. Looks like Santa pants could hold a napkin too.
Can't wait for Christmas! 🖐😁
Diane in Denmark ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Christmas items, hanging on door handles?
Do they go on cutlery? I got som last year from my brother as souvenier.
Someone suggested that above, yes!
That salad with beans and mango looks delicious !👌 which sauce is it?
Thai Larb 😊
@@DianeinDenmark thank you!😍
I sort of wonder how much you differ in sizes (and prefered colours)?
We are all shapes and sizes of clothing, all different shoe sizes and varying heights. Something for everyone!
Could you put gift cards in a little Santa pants
