    Planet Eclipse GTEK 180R Markers
    The Planet Eclipse 180R is the latest generation of markers to come out of Planet Eclipse and is giving other makers a run for their money. The PE 180R was designed to fill the space between the 170R and the CS3, having many of the most important features of the CS3 but a price point much closer to the 170R. The most noteworthy changes help the gun run with greater efficiency and more accuracy.
    The new DYE DSR+ is here for the encore. Refined for today’s demands for the newer player wanting out-of-the-box pro performance to the diehard tournament player, the new and improved DSR+ offers class-leading, unparalleled dominance for an increased competitive edge and more fun on the paintball field. Whether it’s simply getting together with friends at your local field, or during an overtime point to move onto the finals of a championship game, the DSR+ will always perform when it matters the most.
    The DSR+ takes everything from the previous championship winning platform and applies new and improved precision engineered features and enhancements throughout the marker for a next level performance. Some of the standouts to the all-star feature lineup include the newly designed ARC+ Bolt System with best-in-class efficiency and shot-to-shot consistency, new Flex SFR solenoid featuring custom tuning air flow control for individual shot signature preferences, new Edge2 Trigger with flat face design, new quick-turn battery cover lock knob for a quick and simple tool-less battery access, new Leverlock Clamping Feedneck for easy adjusting and new grip clearance to accommodate every player’s grip style, along with a new, aggressive body design.

    Dont need an allen for dye feednecks either i believe. Can twist the latch and it loosens and tightens

    Shot a buddies DSR+ today and it was buttery smooth, shot a 180r Hk orbit a few weeks back it didnt feel as smooth but it just felt like a better shot... idk how to explain it... but im going to buy a 180 in the next few weeks for sure.

    Dye should have just started including thumb wheels. Making customers pay more money for something that should have been standard it's pretty crazy... markers that cost half the price of a DSR have a thumb wheel

      what gun would that be? plz elaborate

      @yourpbtv etha3m, etha3 is what comes to mind. Not to mention like every other marker around the same price point.

      @yourpbtv Год назад

      Ok well I think it’s only the etha 3 and etha 3m at those price points that got it but thx anyway

      the latch can be twisted and it works just like it has a thumbwheel. 1st world problems i guess....

      Honestly prefer the more sleek look of no thumb wheel. And only ever use one hopper anyways so the thumb wheel is pretty pointless

    Title and description are wrong. Yall reviewed a DSR+ not a M3+

  • @Excaka
    @Excaka Год назад

    Both are great, Dye would be the clear winner if it had a slaps asa. DSR will also need a bit more love,. Clean and lube the bolt after every weekend of play, and every 10-15 cases relube the HPR. But the 180r is a complete workhorse, alot more bang for your buck in my opinion. DSR for that super butter shot and ergos, 180r for the reliability and also ergos.

    The half inch difference is due to the insert. Barrels are still 14" i believe no insert extension

    • @foolishcreations2259
      @foolishcreations2259 Год назад

      No the insert is the AC threaded back. It is in fact 1/2” longer.

      They are both excellent choices. I have a Dsr+ and my buddy has been using the 180 since it came out.

    Not a big fan of my $1000 gun relying on a $25 plastic eye pipe . Each dye gun should come with 3 spares .

    • @ojpimpson3343
      @ojpimpson3343 Год назад

      I've used the same eye pipe on my m2 for 4 years. Never had a issue.

    • @BAGofTALENT
      @BAGofTALENT Год назад

      @@ojpimpson3343 yea if you actively take care of it and make sure it never falls out when you're cleaning barrel or assembling disassembling you gun then yea it will last ,my point is if you lose it and it's more of a possibility than losing a eye cover then your gun can't be used . Also who even breaks paint in the breach anyways?

    • @iHasCaek
      @iHasCaek Год назад +1

      how the hell does yours fall out that easily to begin with? there's an oring that holds it in place. if your stuff dirty with paint or just oil from paintballs that just means you dont do maintenenace on your stuff....

    180r VS GEO4

    • @AustinK95
      @AustinK95 7 месяцев назад

      Thats not a comparison lol geo 4 especially if you like a soft shot. If you want cheaper and similar reliability you just get the 180r. If your in the market for a high end marker and dont want the harsher shot of a cs2 and want a sfr get the geo 4 simple. 🤙

    • @austinogg
      @austinogg 7 месяцев назад

      Um at Capitol edge I don't know a single person who prefers a Geo 4 to 170r. It's not even close the 170r is the main and the Geo's are in the gear bag. I made this comment when the gun first came out. It's 2024 the 180r is preferred over the CS3.
      Paintball ruined my life has a video from my home field showing this as well.
      Science behind it 180r came out after Cs3 so they improved the op core.
      Mac Dev always does this as well where the XDR had an improved infinity drive over the prime.
      But seriously just look how fast prices dropped on the Geo 4 and that should tell you everything you need to know
