@@scroperman4612 I'm all about being efficient and saving time where possible. As a technical animator my job is saving artists clicks and time. Having to search for the right wrench in my gear bag to adjust the feedneck is the opposite of efficient. And lazy or greedy on the part of Dye. They either want more money for something that should've been there from the gate, or are too lazy to design one for it on their own.
@@thegrafxguy1 I get that but honestly I have never needed to adjust it. The only time i needed to was when i got a new hopper. Poor design but not something to be concerned about.
@@scroperman4612 that's where we differ. poor design on a marker that you're paying a grand for is unacceptable. it's not even like they had to come up with a new idea. just spend the extra 50 cents on a good screw like their competition does.
I’ve always been a Dye guy and have several Dye markers! The Dsr+ with the upgrade kit installed is extremely hard to beat! Jason is a really nice change, I would suggest having special guests more often!
Please invest in an external mic and wind muff. You guys do so many videos outside and we can't hear half of what is said due to wind noise. Love the videos would just like to be able to hear what you say.
10:24 the dye feednecks always had a twist lever clamp. Thumbwheel is just easier and can tell better how to adjust than most not aith the lever twist..
Y'all are talking about maintenance and servicing the reg. Not everyone is a speedball player. I only do rec. So wouldn't need to service much except bolt.
Don’t have to be a speedball player to take care of your marker, if you’re shooting it, you will eventually need to service the reg too. Maintaining your marker ensures it lasts you a long time.
Something I haven't heard mentioned much except from Jack on a live stream was a 2 year warranty. To my knowledge no one else offers that.
Etha 3 comes with a thumbwheel also at 550, just sayin. the fact that a thousand dollar marker doesn't have a thumbwheel is ridiculous.
I have a dsr+ and I never once stopped to think, wow…i really wish my gun had a thumbwheel

Owned both. LV2 all day
I prefer the dsr's ergos and it has an excellent shot....but damn the LV is fun to shoot. I always grab for that.

Will do!

Lv2 all day.. but bc i love the stacked tube poppet gun . I like m3 plus over dsr.
Let’s be real. The breech wear will not help the Dye resale value. Not saying they’re not good markers but they don’t sell good in the aftermarket
You guys need some mics lol. Lv's bolt go brrrrrrrr. That's the best thing about them. The lv1.6 is the best lv.
Dsr is like the NT series imo
My 06 Ego still runs and has never had an oring changed out. Shoots butter still!
DSR+ is definitely the best bang for your buck marker aside from the AMP. Used they do hold a good value.
Dsr+ vs 180r?
This would be a more honest comparison.
28:47 dye dam has been and always will be such a beautiful woodsball realistic paintball gun
DO 180R VS DSR+ IM PRO KIT PLEASE
Never seen a paintball gun with a worn out breach so it’s just another piece to worry about.
These are the top 2 markers in paintball imo. My two favorites. Had to sell my DSR+ to have a PE as back up though 😔

21:12 we got to wait for the LV 2.1/.5/2R for slimmer design like seen in lv1 series
But what will be different between the stock bolt and the free flow bolt?
DLS has the same feedneck as the DSR+ :) no knob.
And u can but a free flow bolt
30:39 bolts and rammers, and im pro kits
Dsr is a mid grade with mid parts and doesnt feel good in the hands too small for me
bro couldnt even get the dsr to ramp
23:38 high maintenance for sure
Why put up post this video you can’t really hear anything but that wind that extra $500 you saving on that dsr+ use it to buy a new microphone 😂
Comparing spools and poppets is stupid.
No reason to get anything above a DSR+ and 180r

Guys… re-tape the recap instead of putting up a “wind” memo…. How many videos have you made?… Talk about lazy lol

Especially to make sure you are not getting the gray death in the reg
Regardless if you play speed or rec, you'll need to service your reg....
These are literally the 2 markers I can’t decide between
