I’m wildly impressed by the efficiency numbers and sound the more I look at it. At first I didn’t think it would bad good, but it literally is, if not better and cheaper.
@@FitzGamez it’s supposed to be that, but where’s the proof? No hate to lone wolf, and I’m not out to discredit their video, but you can really easily pump up your numbers in videos like this by shooting 20-30 FPS lower. It’s a decades-old trick that they could have easily dispelled by taking two seconds to chrono first. Heck, even just say you chrono’d at 280 or whatever, and I’d believe you.
I guess here’s my point… this video is lazy. Lone Wolf isn’t out here trying to mislead people. They’re good guys. But it’s so very easy to do your due diligence when you’re making a video like this, but they didn’t even think to try. End rant.
Minor updates to the 170r platform and it’s basically a cs3 for a better price. Eclipse hasn’t done anything revolutionary since the IV core but this is nice
Being able to convert an electronic marker into a mech marker for the average consumer? Pretty sure they were the first to start this push with the GTEK line, but the GP core is definitely a great development. Personally I still shoot the geos as I like being able to mess with my marker tuning wise but you can't deny they made this the new norm for spool valve markers going forward. PE, SP, DLX, and dye now all have markers that convert over to a mechanical mode.
i still like my 170r but idk might need to figure something out but I might wait because me and my 170r are on terms for the most part. might clean her before sunday this weeknd. anyone going to tiki's?
My HK 170r gets 12 pods on a 68/45…so why would I wanna get this and get less efficiency for more money? And it’s misleading when they use a 77/45 instead of a 68/45 like usual.
Cs3 uses a different trigger, has a board that beeps, can use Bluetooth, a s63 pro barrel, different grips and a slightly longer bolt. Oh and almost double the price 😂
I will still buy a CS3 because I need to show players at the field that I have a big penile gland and am not poor!!! I am jk guys. Buy whatever marker makes you happy.
@@timchamberlin9280 hahah to be fair i grew up poor and got into paintballing when brass eagle was making plastic paintball guns and sold em in Walmart shelves. That was my first gun during middle school. It’s what dad could afford at the time. I then moved up to a tippman and years later when I got a my first job I got an ETEK 3 when it was released. I felt the Etek 3 was all I needed for several years until the CS2 came out. I thought it was one of the coolest looking markers I’ve ever seen, I spoiled myself with one having never owned a premium marker. So I guess not everyone buys the best just to be show offs.
13 pods= how many paintballs? 120? 130? 150? Balls/pod? And if you ‘drop’ a ball wouldn’t you subtract that ball from your total count, not add it like you guys both stated? Cool you got the 1st shooting video out
@@MossyRootz how’s that? Different pods from different manufacturers come in different sizes. AND they lie- it says it holds 120, but in reality they 5 less, 10 less- so no it wasn’t really an accurate count. I hate break it you, but the manufacturer’s do it with hoppers too. If you knew what you were doing you would have realized that fact sometime ago.
You think this is good, till you find out you get better results from a Empire Mini GS that is a 15~ year old design and cost 1/4th of the price of a PE 180R.
I wonder when a truly revolutionary marker is going to come out rather than switching up milling every couple years and claiming it to be the new big deal… 2 grand for a marker is dumb af Buy an amp and practice more. Problem solved
No clue why you would not do this indoors using reball. I guess a few cases of paint does not mean much to you. Maybe you are using old paint that you need to get rid of anyway.
Yeah it's just more for the flash just with everything else in life. A 40k f150 can do what a 80k platinum can. If you want extras and flash it generally will double the price and sense it's still an amazing gun they will still sell a ton.
Time to find me a nice used 170R !!
😂

Even more impressive, that shirt!
Nice, a properly priced CS3
I’d by this over a cs3 all day
Buy*
Has a slightly smaller bolt than the cs3 and she’s stripped. Poor man’s cs3 😊 lovin it!
1100 USD poor man’s CS3 lol wtf
@@RebelChumps 180R $1,100 > CS3 $2,150
Yes I’d say it’s a poor man’s CS3
once nice colors drop I'll be happy to get one
Custom anodized guns coming in HOT from www.lonewolfpaintball.com
@@LoneWolfPb dark matter please
Gtek 170r shot 12 pods on a 68 tank.
The 180r looks sweet though & i think I’ll be getting one.
Was waiting for it
I am digging the Hormesis shirt!!!
Sound signature is awesome!
Sporting that Hormesis ❤❤
🔥 tshirt Tony
Guys it shoots so nice!
Better than CS3.. Great purchase!!!
Just picked up a "Midnight". Cant wait to let it rip at Bunkerfest 4!
So like 10 pods on a 68 hot filled at a tournament that was cooled to about 4000
Just ordered 👀
Actually sounds nice
What did you chrono the marker at? Important to know for a trustworthy efficiency test.
it was 280-292

Could you guys possible do a in depth video on programming the marker since it has a new board from the 170r
I had a feeling the 180r was coming out
Sheeeesh. That’s awesome
That's is a great video one of the best but I wonder who can shoot faster tony or ceser that would be a good video to watch 😂😂
Not sure why tho. Nothing wrong with the 160 and 170. Kinda redundant.
legit thinking the same thing. I really like my 170.
Just get a used 160 or 170 for a fraction of the price , even a 3.5 or cs1 is a good value option. All preference

I've been out of paintball for sometime now, doesn't look like it's evolved one bit
I just got a new cs2 pro for $100 less than this one. do you think I made the right call?
Can we get a tuning video?
dayum😮
What mode was he shooting in ?
Planet eclipse need to make an updated poppet
Please make a dark matter 180r
On it!
Ahh yes. Better efficiency
*with a bigger tank*
Yeah. Lone Wolf's are shills. They're a business with content creation as an afterthought. Not the other way around.
So what’s the difference between the cs3 and that one???
Cs3 uses a different trigger, has a board that beeps, can use Bluetooth, a s63 pro barrel, different grips and a slightly longer bolt. Oh and almost double the price 😂
Stay tuned for etha 3.5 with new bolt .lets add on another $150 for upgrade . And so on and so on
That was the 14th it started dropping
i was gonna get a cs3 but i think i changed my mind
It was 13.5 y’all miss counted that’s amazing tho
we have already started blaming pizzo for the miss count HAHA
Hurry up and get a red an black version so i can buy one!.
Cesar looks like a bouncer in the background
Damn!
Ok then 😊
I.miss nxl full auto
14 pods

12 pods on a 77 is like 9 10 on a 68
The math is easy...
5000 hot fill getting 13+ hoppper
Is it just me or does the barrel look the same as the 170 even though it says it comes with the s63 three piece barrel ?
This is the s63 "base" which it is the same as the 170 but uses the pwr inserts. The s63 on cs3 and lv2 is now the s63 "pro"

It’s nice but for $1100 it’s basically a cs3. They should just discontinue cs3 and sell these instead , nobody gonna buy those anymore
