Nice. I purchased my Planet Eclipse LV2 Conquest - Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse on January 2024. I love the design, the looks, the performance, and the case. I also have my eyes on the Planet Eclipse LV2 Fossil Prestige. What a beautiful paintball gun. My previous marker is a Dangerous Power G5 Spec R and before that was a Tippmann Pro Am.
Have you got both? I have. Got my LV2 in midnight today, will be using it all weekend, but will also have my lv1 with me so will use both and then see which i prefer!

I've got a Shocker Amp (small foregrip) and I definitely prefer the larger size foregrips like this or the gtek 170r. I also like the tool-less eye covers and grip, but I feel like a screwed on grip is still better. I can totally imagine it failing to lock or breaking apart during a match or when diving. Final thought - I could probably confuse this for some of the PE markers back 10-15 years ago.
I’ve got an HK AMP and I got the LV2 this week, played for a few hours yesterday and I can tell you the ergos are vastly different. I had trouble getting used to the LV, even though I have an Etek5… it’s mega bulky vs the AMP, but it has a way better shot in my opinion. I feel like I’d prefer the amp for quickness, but the LV for winning gun fights. I kept getting “lucky” shots with the LV yesterday. After 3 or 4 I guess it’s no longer luck. Hard to say which gun I really like more TBH.
Yeah, it looks nice until it starts accumulating paint stains. Plastic is easier to clean. Regardless, it’s not a deal breaker for me for such a ridiculously sexy marker.
If they ever make a Purple body with some teal accents, I'll snag one up right away! So nice they finally dumped the at pipe. Just need more purple goodness:) The only thing I hate is them changing the barrel setup.... there was nothing wrong with the lv1.6 setup or the Geo setup, my 2 cent guess was this way they can sell more products and generate more revenue... just my opinion.
My local local store has promised me they will have my in midnight available in 2 weeks. If they can't put it in my hand in 3 weeks I'm pretty sure ANS will.
Just picked it up on Saturday. It's incredibly smooth, the ergonomics for me are beautiful, and that trigger angles out just enough at the bottom where it doesn't scream that it needs an upgraded trigger. I may eventually go to the infamous trigger but I've cut on my 1.6, but that won't be for a while.
@@eeerrrriiicc I love the new features of the LV2, but I may wait for a next iteration of it or a special edition because the milling is so boring imo. I hope HK comes out with a cool LV2.
It simply wouldn't be possible due to it still being a stacked tube poppet. They are not trying to reinvent the wheel here but make the marker more streamlined and serviceable.
@@jamesleason4004 eh, what? Impossible? They could have done a connector like CS1 had or even housed all the electronics in the upper body - if they had done a complete body redesign. Light pipe, eye electronics in the front grip assembly, push fit connector to frame… one way to do it.
@@maxxon99 I hear what you're saying but from a design and engineering perspective is isn't realistic. @@jamesleason4004 it does make a difference to the marker. Lowers operating pressures (proven through testing) consistency and accuracy don’t change though
No. Etek's are done. People were not buying enough of them to justify continued production. The GTEK series of markers once release cannibalized ETEK sales so they were discontinued permanently.
I have an etek 5 and I got the LV2 and played with it yesterday - might seem weird, but they shoot almost the same. The Etek has a bit more kick but for 3X the price - I might have stuck with the Etek all things considered

The electornics, too many wires after owning a CS2 Pro. Electronics realy do come across as janky. Also....Hose...C-Mon. A bit disapointed. Think PE could have done better there. That HPR/LPR set up is slick.
The SMC solenoid introduced with the 1.6 was always going to carry forward to the next model...thus, the LP transfer hose was always going to remain. This shouldn't be a surprise.
You have to think about air passages and milling. Not even sure it would be possible for a high end CNC to mill out an air passage in that spot as the material just isn't there. Besides the hose is cheap and easily replaceable.
The milling is such a let down! Thats why its prob heavier too. They did it so basic so they can upsell you later models wich is lame considering it starts at 1600!!!! Comon PE.... L
not a fan of the new style of HPR/LPR. Bring back metal regs! All these ugly chunks of rubber really kill the milling style of the gun.
I agree with you on the rubber parts. It's just another thing to wear out and replace! We already have gaskets and orings galore to deal with. It seems like the moving of the LPR was done to increase serviceability and user friendliness. It also had the nice side effect of increasing volume in the marker. Lol you won't see macrolines in ANY high end markers they present an obstacle to switching hands and running around and hanging on stuff. Also the orings in macrolines can easily start leaking if the hose gets tugged on too many times causing excessive wear on the tubing.
