BMW E60 Coolant expansion tank replacement

In this video I will show you how to replace the coolant tank (reservoir) of BMW E60 550i with N62B48 engine, without draining completely the coolant! Make sure coolant is cold enough so you can work without get burned!
The reason why I am replacing the coolant tank (reservoir) is because of a crack inside the overflow drain line, that is common for N62B48 engine due to high operating coolant temperature apx. 110 deg C!
The replacement of BMW e60 550i expansion tank (reservoir) can be done DIY without visiting expensive car service workshops .Watching this video you will find most easiest way to replace your old coolant expansion tank with new one. That is the fastest and easy way to replace it , just for few minutes.
