BLS 'Class 323 Farewell' at Liverpool Lime Street and Crewe 29/09/24

A great day was spent to see the BLS Charter 'The Class 323 farewell'. This was the farewell to the units that have worked in the West Midlands for the past 30 years. Of course, you can never get enough of their legendary traction motors! Thankfully, most of these units will not be sent for scrap and will instead be transferred to Northern.

It is a shame that the Class 323s have now left West Midlands Railway but at least most of them are still going to be running on Northern Trains.

Good to see northern getting more electric stock as more of their routes are getting electrified now

Depends how long they keep them for, they will probably paint over 222 but hopefully they keep 221 as it is
