Great trade, I just got a vfr 800 vtec as well. You're gonna love it just keep an eye on the electrics, the connection to the reg/rec can corrode and take out the stator so clean it and make sure it's waterproofed.

At the moment I ride a 2012 GSF650S Bandit, before that I mostly rode my Yamaha Fazer 1000, 2001, unfortunately the rubber never stayed on the road, but what a great fast bike that was, had quite a few bikes over the years, never a cruiser but wouldn’t mind one as I’m getting older lol.

Nice Video, I bought a VFR800 in February and within 10 minutes it wouldn't start after I filled it up at a Petrol Station on the way home, ended having non stop issues over the next 2-3 days with it cutting out and returned it to the trader and had to pay £500 for an alternative model which was a year older but with lower mileage and a few upgrades, never had a problem with it since, fabulous motorbike, All I'm saying is the fact it didn't start when the guy rolled it off the trailer has all the tell tail signs of a dodgy Reg/Rec but hope everything works out for you.

I bought a street legal WR450F against the wishes of my now ex-fiance` in 2020. I rode it a lot on the street and was contemplating super moto wheels. A set was going to end up costing about $1000. I bought a $400 Mk 1 Bandit 1200 in totes instead to scratch that itch. After much assembly, it has a stage 2 Holeshot kit and is a blast to ride. Everyone loves it. They ask about it when I ride something else. Baddest sound in the fleet. I bought a $400 DR350 because I wanted something to learn to wheelie on that was smaller than the 450. It turned into a "let's make it the trickest DR350SE that ever existed" project. It's sick AF, USD fork, ES/KS, all of the trail upgrades, bark busters, TT Vapor, LEDs, etc, but I've not really ridden it yet. I should set the valve clearance and ride it today. Right?! I impulse purchased a low mileage (10K) but highly weathered '97 RF900R to repair. That bike is now mechanically solid. I added 2 teeth on the rear sprocket 👌😗. I bounce it off the limiter. I'd like to spruce up the aesthetics more but I can't stay off of it. It's way more about how it rides than how it looks for me. I think it would beat a VFR 800. Picked up a $400 '98 RM 125 project on impulse Saturday. It's so light! I always wanted a 2 stroke. This thing is going to be fun AF when I get it going. That swap was a nice upgrade. Beautiful family bro. Ride safe for your little girl.

I have a 2004 VFR800 and i absolutely Love it! Ive had it for years and its just a pleasure to ride. I have the delkavic exhaust on mine. Its been such a great bike. Ive owned other bikes but they didnt bring me joy like my VFR. I also have a 2014 Yamaha Vmax that im just crazy about as well. That bike is on a different level from most other bikes imo. I simply love V4 bikes. I used to be like that about inline 4's . Great video and what a great find getting the Viffer
I'm 15 and in 5 days I'll be getting my bike permit. I've been riding on private property (dirt roads and grass) for a little over a year now on various road bikes and honestly I'd say even after riding bikes as big as an r1 to bikes like a cbr250r, one bike I can't stop getting on is my ninja 1000 or my ninja 300. They're just so reliable and so fun! Ride safe brother and good find on that VFR!
Hope your enjoying that zx10 one of the nicest bikes developed. And the muffler that's missing the baffle is a dummy muffler not actually hooked up to the exhaust I'll be removing that muffler.

I had a 2003 VFR800 with a full headerback Delkevic 8 inch carbon fiber muffler exhaust with a power commander V and -1t up front and she was a blast to ride. Had alot of low end torque for daily riding and was comfortable for long commutes. I miss it but it was one of 5 bikes i sold😢. I kept my 2002 CBR 954RR!!👌
I have a 2015 Harley Breakout but unfortunately I live in Wisconsin so just about that time to be putting it up for the season as we about to hit highs in the 20s and and low 30s so my season is pretty much over 😢😢😢 but to the people still able to ride be safe out on them streets ✌️

I threw my leg over one at my dealership recently. Beautiful ride. I decided that a Road King was a lot more practical for me, but the right Harley has yet to materialize. $17K for a 2016 and 7th motorcycle is stupid, even if it only has 12K miles.
I grew up on dirt bikes as well...my last was a 2001 honda CR 250,had to part with it years ago,miss it dearly. I owned a Ninja GP 750...another bike I regret selling. I would like to find a 2007 cbr 1000rr!

I ride a 2015 Honda Cbr 1000rr currently. It’s my first sports bike. I used to ride cruisers like the 750 Honda shadows and what not. Definitely a different ball game and I ride her a lot. I respect this bike and I hope it will respect me back. 💪🏽

Congratulations on getting a great sport-cruising bike (I had the original 750 Interceptor back in the day). Next thing you know you might be getting a Sportbike (I have 2023 750 Gixxer now)!
BTW, meant to say sport-touring (hey I was tired it. was late. I had low blood sugar. cut me some slack). Not much room for Luggage on the Gixxer; the interceptor did not look out of place with saddle bags (although I usually left them at home).
I have the same bike Honda VFR800 when the v-tech pops you’ll love it enjoy Fam. I’m thinking about lowering the front any thoughts on that? Mines a 2002 model
Hey thanks for watching the video I plan to upload a lot of videos on this VFR. If I were you I would lower the seat height instead of lowering the bike. you can take the seat to a upholstery shop and have them shave the foam down and re wrap your seat

As someone who's owned 9 sport bikes, including a gsxr600 You'll regret getting a sportbike at that age.
Very uncomfortable. You'd be better off with a bike that has raised up handlebars
Get a DRZ400SM or a cruiser bike.

I have a 2015 Harley Breakout but unfortunately I live in Wisconsin so just about that time to be putting it up for the season as we about to hit highs in the 20s and and low 30s so my season is pretty much over 😢😢😢 but to the people still able to ride be safe out on them streets ✌️
Wow it gets very cold where you live I've always wanted to test ride a Harley breakout heard they are fast bikes. We ride our bikes even in the coldest of weather to get this content uploaded appreciate the support 🏁
I threw my leg over one at my dealership recently. Beautiful ride. I decided that a Road King was a lot more practical for me, but the right Harley has yet to materialize. $17K for a 2016 and 7th motorcycle is stupid, even if it only has 12K miles.

I grew up on dirt bikes as well...my last was a 2001 honda CR 250,had to part with it years ago,miss it dearly. I owned a Ninja GP 750...another bike I regret selling. I would like to find a 2007 cbr 1000rr!

I ride a 2015 Honda Cbr 1000rr currently. It’s my first sports bike. I used to ride cruisers like the 750 Honda shadows and what not. Definitely a different ball game and I ride her a lot. I respect this bike and I hope it will respect me back. 💪🏽

Nothing like the sound of a V4, I’ve got a 2002 VFR800, they are capable of very high mileage. Just keep an eye on the regulator/rectifier.

Congratulations on getting a great sport-cruising bike (I had the original 750 Interceptor back in the day). Next thing you know you might be getting a Sportbike (I have 2023 750 Gixxer now)!

BTW, meant to say sport-touring (hey I was tired it. was late. I had low blood sugar. cut me some slack). Not much room for Luggage on the Gixxer; the interceptor did not look out of place with saddle bags (although I usually left them at home).
I have the same bike Honda VFR800 when the v-tech pops you’ll love it enjoy Fam.
I’m thinking about lowering the front any thoughts on that?

Hey thanks for watching the video I plan to upload a lot of videos on this VFR. If I were you I would lower the seat height instead of lowering the bike. you can take the seat to a upholstery shop and have them shave the foam down and re wrap your seat

Love the vfr I ride a yamaha fzs600 fazer 2003 and a yamaha rd125dx twin 1976 2 stroke I did have a honda cbr600fx fully tricked track bike only sold it last month I live in a town called Wigan in the United Kingdom England 🇬🇧
