I feel that me having, FabFilter on iOS and all these sounds I've been buying over the years. I'm definetely moving to iOS 100%. Goodbye stationary setup, hello portability! I was hesitant to buy a new iPad, but now I'm buying a new ipad. I'll finance it or whatever but I'm moving in!
@@iPadBeatMaking big facts I started on iOS GarageBand with a PlayStation usb mic and a camera connect kit 🤣😂 now we got full audio interfaces with usbc and Logic we definitely moving on up with these apps and mobile computers 🦹🏾♂️🐐🪬
Excellent. and good news. Been waiting for this for a while. WOW! I love Cubasis, Audio Evolution, FL Studio Mobile, ZenBeats, n-Track but, I will pick Logic Pro as my number one go to. I really hope to be able to work my Korg Gadget 2 with it. Thanks for the good news.
Incredible for sure! It makes me want a new iPad. I love Logic Pro. I am completely Logic Pro beat maker. I just would not like to see Logic Pro Subscription base when it comes to Macs. Because we spend way more money to own those type of products. It would make it less worthy to buy those products. I completely understand why it be a Subscription base for phones and iPad or tablets. Because it's on the go. Yes, MacBooks and laptops can be on the go as well, But they are desktop worthy products with specs.
Thank you thank you….I’ve been a Logic person forever, I’m also an iOS music production fan and would love to have the ability of using logic on my iPad. Hopefully the “subscription” price will be somewhat reasonable. Great vid, thanks for the heads up.
Steinberg: their Score Writer (Dorico) has been ported over from the desktop and you can make a one-off purchase of it. Maybe Cubase will also make the jump?
Not a big fan of the subscription model, but it’s nice that the trial is a month instead of a week. Of course a dealbreaker if all the other plugins don’t work. I also wonder if it will come with the same Logic sound library or maybe a similar library manager. Whether it has all the sounds or not, I hope the overall size of the app isn’t too big. GarageBand is bloated enough.
If Garageband has auv3, I’m sure Logic will. Auv3 midi fx is a different matter tho. Garageband doesn’t have those and atom 2 doesn’t work in logic for Mac. I hope it will for iPad!!
I needed something mobile so I was literally gonna buy a PO-33 then considered a MPC X since it’s cheap from the brand new MPC hype but man this beats all that!! Now to buy a cheapy iPad
About other companies that currently release plug-ins on desktop/Mac only, there is one heading towards us. Apple is working together with UAD, and it’s plug-ins will come to Logic Pro for Mac when the news was out not so long ago. UAD plug-ins will also become available for iPadOS. Both companies are still talking things through about how and what (it’s rumored that Apple wants to buy UAD, so it is MacOS and iPadOS exclusive, which will potentially bring more people to the ecosystem), so we have to be patient. In the meantime, enjoy making music on iPad Pro with Logic Pro my fellow iPad musicians. Apple is a great company for us producers, whether you work on Mac, iPad or both. Always was and will always be. I ❤
@@iPadBeatMaking Its a iPad app not a Mac App I would pay 99.99 for a perpetual license.. I would never pay $499 for a iPad app BTW Logic Pro X for Mac in only $199
What about Davey from AE3? Or Gil from MTS? These one man operations ? And Cubasis ? Pffft . This is just seismic . Can’t wait till you do tutorial on this !
it's going to be $4.99 a month.. but if you pay a year will be $49 ... paying by month you'll end up paying $59.98 so paying a full year in advance is smart because you're paying $10 less.

@@iPadBeatMaking it's not about being reasonable or not... it's about the idea of forcing the "rental marriage" on us. The average person really doesn't wish to "subscribe" to software. It doesn't make it eaier to use nor consume. It's not even smart from the perspective of the consumer. People will do it if they really want it and it's the only option, but things done reluctantly are usually shovelled at the first opportunity.
@@iPadBeatMaking i get that but the iOS pricing in comparison to the desktop application is never that high. Give us the app at a version number and then when there is a major release, charge a reasonable update price and lets keep it moving. Apple doesn’t update logic enough now to sell me on this. One thing about the iOS music making community if its priced to high (499) not many will buy it.
How is this any different from Cubasis 3 and Gadget 2. I don’t see the hype having Logic Pro all of a sudden on iOS exciting everyone since some powerful auv3s are already there on the App Store. I’m more interested in new innovative apps than a port of smthng that already existed for decades. I see nothing out of the ordinary since again no Omnisphere or NI stuff along with others. It’s cool but I’m not hopping the wagon since I have everything I need already suited to my workflow.
FX and instruments. So eq, compressor etc is included in that list I believe. I’d like to see NI and omnisphere drop. I hope they don’t go sub only but that’s likely what they’ll do.
When I saw the news, I couldn’t believe it! I’m very emotional. This will change EVERYTHING.

Incredible! I thought the subscriptions was pretty weak sauce but if it means constant app updates for Logic and Final, I’m all in! ❤
Agree with you 💯
I can read mf, get a life!

Me too!!! Big news!! Big win!!
Bro, of course you of all people know that just how loooooooong I've been waiting for this, and now it's official.👍👍👍💪
2 questions:
Do Mac synths (es2,sculpture) also come to the iPad?
Will Korg update their iPad synths (ms20, ODYSSEi etc) to AUv3?
Super stoked!!
Finally a win for the good guys lol 😂 !!! It’ll be nice to get my moneys worth out of the M1!!
Wow, I'm really curious to try that! 😃
Yesss!!!! Hopefully it supports au midi fx so we can use your app in it!!!

I think it’s pretty reasonable at $5/month or $49/year for what’s on offer

Really curious to find out if it lets you export tracks to MIDI. If so I might consider subscribing
I just really hope they have audio unit effects so I can continue using the best midi editor in Atom 2. Also, they didn’t mention AUV3 support?
