the fact that you didn't have to remove the bumper is going to make every buyer happy indeed!!!!
OR the wheel lol Focus owners are jealous of this easy access
Thank you Mr Ex President sound alike 😃😃
Dude I was thinking it the whole video he sounds just like him.
Definitely need a drive-by video
nice quality on the vid! this is helpful can’t wait to get my N in the future
This is a perfect video. Thank you so much!
Gonna be getting mine on soon hopefully :)
That black piece that connects the turbo xs vacuum hose to the factory hose. I notice one side Is thinner than the other side. Which side does it connects to?
Thank you Mr. Barrack Obama
Good tutorial
This plus axle back exhaust would be nice sound. does anyone know a tune for the 1.6 turbo? The most reliable tune🙏🙏
How many supply washers for the spring rate did you have to use if any? I'm having issues with my valve sticking open.. when I take the top cap off and push the Piston down to close it it works through a full drive cycle when I shut the car off and start it back up the valve sticks open.. guessing I need to add more washers? But definitely don't want too many to create flutter and we're out turbo thrust bearings
Damn i didnt realize obama worked on cars like that
How many washers are you supposed to be running on the 1.6t
that valve work for the Turbo trim as well?
I'm really interested in getting a Veloster n if its possible for me. Does this help in performance or is just for sound?
The BOV should allow you to hold a little more boost pressure. Also it sounds pretty cool!
So what would this do to the engine warranty if it hold boost pressure longer??? Void it?
@@tedtedness184 No
Makes good sound and it still feeds back into the system instead of letting it blow into the air.
@@Too-Gq-For-You Yes in Hyundai N documentation it CLEARLY stated a custom non OEM diverter valve (which this is) voids warranty.
is this the turbo xs hybrid blowoff valve?
I've installed mine but I hear leak and have tightened everything ... What else could it be ?
Still no word !?
Did this cause a P2261 check engine code like it does on the Elantra sport?
Yes
I'm very interested in getting this sound on my 2019 Veloster ultimate looks like same location and everything.. great install video!! Does this upgrade change your fuel make sure at all?would the vehicle need a retune after install?
Sorry typo that was supposed to say does it change the fuel ratio at all?
No but it will change your MPG a little bit because you will be pushing the peddle down a little more to hear whossh sound. One thing I like about this is it puts the air right back into the intake trac instead of losing it into the atmosphere. The maker should of at least included a new gasket with it.
Does this do anything warranty wise?
No, a bov won't void a warranty. At least not in the US, but it still isn't the worst idea to take it off when you take it in to the dealer. Same with JB4 and stuff like that, although I've heard rumors that parts/service know all about piggy backs and can see that you've done an ECU tune even if you take it off.
What is the difference between the hybrid bov and rfl?
Idk which one should I buy
Rfl vents 100% to atmosphere and is on the louder side. The hybrid (one in this video) does a 50% atmosphere and 50% back in the system. The hybrid is also a little softer sounding.
Would this fit my 2019 1.6t engine?
They sell a different model for the 1.6t
Head Of The Herd would the installation be similar?
@@leonlux3835 the bov faces the other direction on the 1.6t making it a bit trickier, but it's still the same process.
Is your N a manual or DCT?
Would this work for a 2018 Elantra Sport GT?
Wondering that also, if you've figured it out yet.
Does this hold more boost?
Yeah you need to put it in gear and build boost before you can hear a blow off valve. Neutral does nothing.
I agree, I was waiting for the sweet noise and I was disappointed!
Dude buy an aem intake and you’ll hear the flutter for sure
side-mount I/C?
I've watched the Thunderhill presentation by Biermann and their public data release says the N uses "sufficient" cooling systems, and that the I/C is "isolated" from the other systems. hmmm
David Jackson it’s not a side mount intercooler like the last gen VT.. it’s a front mount that has plastic shielding it from the radiator
Where do you buy this valve? I have done searches and looked on turbosxs’ website but can’t find it.

GarageLine Thanks a lot.
@@GarageLine any promo code? Thanks!
Did this void the warranty, just wondering I want to do this to my veloster
Yes it does, but you could return to stock easily enough by the looks of it.

sound good
I canceled my damn order for this from you guys! I ordered it 4 days ago and it still has not shipped my order! When they advertise 3 to 5 day shipping that is what I expect. Not 7 to 10 days. I emailed them twice asking about when will it ship and I did not even get the courtesy of a response, so I call. I the answer was “Oh it is still setting on the dock it will go out today or tomorrow.” How can people stay in business like that?
Nice
Has your car had any issues running lean?
As long as you're around 12:1 afr should be alright. My focus ran 12.6:1 and never had engine issues or knock and got me 35mpg on the highway haha
He sound like mechanic Obama
Can hardly even hear it..
Box is cover all noise
Too bad it voids your warranty and no real performance gains ?!?
It definitely doesn't void your warranty.
@@daves1203 Yes it does. It states it in Hyundai N documentation on what you can run and can't run with custom parts. And a diverter valve CLEARLY is stated as a VOID warranty.
@@tedtedness184 just change it back when you get work done
If you're concerned about warranty just call Hyundai 🤦♂️
Legally they can't deny any warranty claims unless they can reasonably link what you are claiming for to a mod you've done
Sounds stock lol
Sounds like Obama
