Excellent review,; articulate, methodical (without being boring) and highly informative. I looked at one today in a dealer and your review helped me decide to get one (once funds allow). Thanks again.
@@chrisparkin431 Will do. Given that you're online - I question if I may? I'm new to the PCP concept, so would be interested in your recommendations regarding making the business of refilling affordable. I don't shoot that often, so am not convinced that getting a compressor is cost effective ( £500-800)? Thoughts/suggestions?
Thank you, Chris, for a wonderful review. I cringed when you started reading out our responses. I am an Italian living in America, and sometimes I forget the source of the great videos I watch. Thank you for sharing
I had a play with one yesterday. The weight is incredible and the finish of the synthetic stock feels perfect for an all night ratting session. Never been overly attracted to the big name manufacturers but this one is definitely on my radar.
Hi Chris, another fantastic detailed review and looking forward for more on the DRS, I have the .177 also and love it very easy to handle, looking forward to your reviews big thanks Rob.
I was triggered to buy a DRS with wooden stock but my S410 walnut shoot on a quiet day pellet on pellet with JSB 8.44gr /25 meters. I've seen many DRS reviews and the FX shoots well but it has not the millimeter accuracy from my S410. Cheers!
I had a T12 a few years ago and this reminds me of it. Light, nothing complicated and really accurate. The only fx I own at the minute is a fac panthera but I'm really tempted by this. Great review by the way 👍
First time seeing one of your vids fella, what a brilliant channel. Informative and engaging. I look forward in watching the rest of your uploads. You've earned a new sub here mate 👍
maybe one to add to the collection 😛. Hope you get the FAC 600 soon so we can compare. Also hope FX adds a dust plug on future guns. A plastic plug won't brake the bank 😁
Nice review of the first FX I've ever been tempted to buy. Not too expensive, nice and light, decent shot count for an all-day carry, and really very good looking. Had to laugh about the 80~100m question though, sub-12 at that range and the slightest breeze has your pellet wandering all over the shop.
Thanks Chris! Looking forward to a .22/600 FAC DRS review! The 500mm comes with the small plenum and the 700mm with the large one... it would make sense (performance wise) if the 600 came with a medium sized plenum. Hope that FX would consider that, if not them, then maybe a third party like HuMa or SaberTactical would step up and offer a medium sized plenum. Cheers!
Amazing rifle. Super light, super accurate, super quiet. Just got one from pickering guns. They also offer a 3D printed moderator that is super light and whisper quiet for only £60. My weihrauch XL was £120 & it's no quieter. (Not noticeably anyway) Mine stacks H&N barracuda 8 pellets. Which is excellent because they're very cheap. Better grouping than AA diablo field pellets & they're like £8 cheaper per tin. (£75 for 10 tins of 500 from Redbeck shooting supplies) Picatinny rail is also a must imo. Immersive optics 14X50 fits it like a glove. The huge field of view is so much better than traditional scopes.
Picked up my DRS just a week ago and I still can't put it down or stop grinning 😁 . Even with my hikmicro alpex on top it's not that heavy and holds point very well.
The fx v2 pocket chronograph won't work on the barrel it only works on the moderator must be something to do with the barrel liner and barrel and air cylinder 👍
You can get a picatinny adapter comes in low and High with a 20moa that is sold separate £60/70 ish i have one fitted to mine gives you a bit more play with scope mounting..
@@bennyboytwin If your sticking a day scope on it yeah no reel need for it, but if your putting NV on it you may need one IMO, also nice if you can take a scope off and put it back on with little shift..
I love mine, but I do find it doesn't really settle down until about 180bar, above that it can be a little inconsistent. I also found the QYS Domed heavies are the best pellet for mine out to 35m. However once I push past 35m then the JSB Exact heavies are better. I tend to use the JSB's when hunting just because of the consistency across different ranges.
To me this looks very bad..But it is none fac .My question is will fac do better? So i dont rant your clip because it is very nice .But i ask will none fac do better at 50?In your opinion?I am from the netherlands and we can shoot at full power..👍 always to your clips

I have a huma regulated Dreamline walnut stock and synthetic stock for when I’m out ratting would you say this is worthy trade up or down
The only thing I don’t like about this rifle is that it doesn’t have a big fat bolt like the Remington vought. Even though it’s worse. I know.
Great video, could I ask where you purchased those high contrast targets.
They are Caldwell from Sportsman Gun Centre
Very nice
Accuracy and consistency are poor above 180 bar, once it hits 180 then it settles down and accuracy drastically improves.
180 bar is very high for the reg.
