Had mine for a couple of months now and bloody love it.
At last somebody who does a review and gets the tape measure out and the kitchen scales and gives a proper, thorough review of the rifle. Oddly enough I handled one of these this afternoon and was really impressed, particularly with its light weight and handling and I too was wondering about the FAC version. This review filled in all the blanks - great stuff! Look forward to the follow up.

Been expecting that you would review the FX DRS - was hoping it would have been a .22 FAC.
Curious about the .177 sub-12 but only mildly so as I have a FAC .22 600mm DRS on order.
Regardless which model, I'm looking forward to your full review!

I believe they are going to produce a smaller magazine, so you don’t have to use high mounts?
I had a Dreamline and it had the same issues- I prefer a 32/35mm scope, down low to the bore.
Had mine 2 days it toppled over in the man cave fell barrel first and the stock split in two just behind the pistol grip I couldn’t believe it on inspection the composite material is cheap and nasty and seems very brittle it fell on carpet as well bloody disgusting service from FX typical I’d heard all the horror stories about their customer service and well they lived up to their reputation telling me to contact sportsman gun centre who offered to sell me a new stock at £300 plus ehh no thanks why would I do that when chances are it might happen again if it broke like this in the man cave what’s going to happen on the farm I will say the action is very nice but the stock is cheap anyway I’ve purchased a form laminate stock at least I know it will last very upset with FX never buying this brand again
If just been a couple days I would send it back (Warranty) and tell my credit card company to stop payment.
It may have all ready been cracked in the box to break that easy. There is a air rifle channel on you tube who
shows his new day state red wolf cracked in the same place as yours.
Paid cash at local RFD and they are in denial
You did say you dropped it, it's not designed to be dropped so although we hope kit will be durable it cant be Superman tough
@@chrisparkin431hi Chris yes dropped it in the man cave only fell a meter onto carpet would of expected it to take that what would happen if I dropped it in the farm

Could you possibly point me in the right direction for your torque driver? I like the idea of being able to torque all my scopes down.

I only see one gauge . How do you know what pressure the tank is , then what pressure the regulator is ?
There is a pressure gauge on the side of the gun so you know what's left. If you want more toys, buy a more expensive FX
@@chrisparkin431 I already have two , a impact mk ll with .177 cal barrel , .22 cal barrel , and .357 800 mm barrel . And a dream tech compact in .22 cal and a arrow barrel too . I love both of them and will never get rid of them . Was thinking about getting one of those but the more I learn the more apprehensive I am . Thank you for sharing and enjoy the new rifle .
