Last night had a guy first try and block me and then completely brake check me on turn 1 of trial mountain. He got a 1.5 second penalty for hitting the barrier and I got a 4 second penalty for hitting a car off track….luckily he spun out and I didn’t and he crashed trying to take someone else out later and quit but there needs to be a revamp of the stewarding system…more often than not get penalized for being the victim!
It was very fortunate that that driver was there to stop you flying off the track on the mulsanne straight, how kind of them to protect you from such a dangerous accident 🤣

@3:23 The left hander is Indianapolis (named after the track/city in Indiana due the corner being banked). The right hander after is Arnage, I believe named after the village it is in. The carnage corner is virage de Mulsanne (Mulsanne bend)

Nothing ruins the fun/immersion like someone using other racers as brakes. It's so bad in Forza that playing ghost mode is the only way to somewhat enjoy the game

This race was crazy went into the Mulsane dead last, when every single car including me wiped out in the braking zone I came out in the lead. The whole race all the cars felt like they were on Ice without studded tires.

This race is so much fun! Especially for me, as I race in level C mostly, meaning loads of people get the braking zones wrong and are generally quite inconsistent, I suspect because the car handles like a boat 😄 (compared to gr.3/gr.4)
In these kind of races with a "carnage corner", isn't it best to hug the inside of the corner - even if that isn't the best line? That will reduce the chances of "dive bombers" getting inside of you and, even if one does hit you, you are more likely to simply bounce into another car who will keep you on the track.
That red guy at the beginning was absolutely trying to create carnage. Those weren't wheelspin mistakes, he was steering straight into people on purpose.
I must admit as who played GT1 up to 4 actiavely when they were new.. yeah that first one who cut others off just is how i did too as a kid in GT1 lol. Thanks to no damage modelling game series had long time it just made sense.
