@@Goonak_ so that's why there were floods in my hometown. A whole ass stadium packed to the rafters and everyone clapping syncronymously caused my town to be under water to watch Super GT get a victory at Daytona. It was worth it for sure.
MX5 Cup and spec racing in general are so underrated.

The sad part about this race is I couldn't afford tickets. When the news was released that Super GT was racing at the Daytona Road Course they doubled and tripled the ticket prices. Price gouging is supposed to be illegal.
My only hope was that you recorded this race and posted it on RUclips for all us poor people to watch. That was a nice win, you saved and timed the pass perfectly.

What happened?
@@MegaMayoman He got stripped naked and banned for doing 145kph in a Code 60. Fucking stupid.
He made a mistake and respected the decision to disqualify him from the N24. Steve showed unbelievable restraint, kept his composure, and accepted reality. I respect him even more bow after how he dealt with the whole ordeal. Hes a great human being. @MegaMayoman
@@MegaMayoman My comment got deleted explaining that Steve got stripped of license and booted from the event for being an idiot doing 145kph in a 60 zone. Somebody could have been killed. ZERO excuses.
@@zildog While it is a mistake to speed under yellow, I believe it was raining during the race. I wasn't in the car but, I do race and know that there are alot of things going on inside the car. These are circumstances are not excuses, and I think that the penalty was too severe. I believe it was handled just as bad as the rest of the race. (Adding) I just wonder what happens now for Steve?
I just bought GT7 after watching your videos for months. This was my first online race and I managed to get third! I am pretty hooked and I am now saving up for a wheel lol.

I'm pretty sure that is in fact a corner in the midfield you were talking about. It's not a straight, because the road curves and you have to turn the wheel to stay on it.
He just nailed it when he said it was a corner. I have seen corners before, and I could tell - it was was really a corner.

Absolutely love MX5, some of the best racing out there. Talked with guys when they run at Road America, teams setting up drafting partners for the long straights. Love the McQueen and great tips in the video. You do draw a crowd at Daytona.

Loved this race, started at P3, I was behind P1 for last 2 laps and used the slip stream to have a drag race just before the finish line. It felt like gambling, cause when I finished I didn't know if I was in front or not until the text appeared. I was only about 20cm in front at the end!

Mazda MX-5 racing series is my favorite racing series going right now.
I feel if you're leading Daytona on the final lap with 2nd in slip stream range the best solution is to park the car on all the busstop apex's to allow as many other drivers to catch up and turn the last sprint into chaos lol
Horseshoe is International Horseshoe the corner that is indeed a corner, is West Horseshoe.
They're connected by turn 4, the Dog Leg.
1 and 6 are In and Out. As they enter and exit the infield.
2 is the only corner with no name

I finished 2nd in so many of these races this week. But so fun. I love the “No DR” updates even though on this one I could be spamming my way to a higher ratings again.
This is my favourite car in the game and I'd like to modify an older MX5 to try and match its characteristics as much as possible. It's so much fun to drive whether you're fast or slow
I have been trying to get into watching more Motorsport and all I watch rn and motogp and wec. Where can I watch more variations of racing similar to the Mx-5 cup you mentioned?

Been driving MX5s online for awhile now. Was good when Forza allowed open track days, going into a track then seeing the lobby all jump in MX5s. The battles we had were so good

The first horseshoe is called the international horseshoe and you can see all the international flags. 2nd horseshoe is called the West horseshoe. Pretty basic. And the bus stop is now called the Le Mans Chicane for so-called "synergy".
