Kudos to a driver named "DiveBomber93" for being so clean. While it was cool to see the overcut attempted, I think the lap 2 undercut is what the BMW needed to win.
And also for not living up to his name and going for a divebomb after being overtaken on the final lap.
Exactly, it was a good attempt but they lost way too much time behind the supra and couldn't save the tires quite enough to make it work.

Given the way the leader's steering got jerky, I wonder if something happened to his wheel and he switched to a controller.
maybe but if so he switched very quickly i am wondering if maybe he was having a conversation with someone and got distracted happened to me but luckily i was playing motorsport which has been for forgiving to me with penalties.

For someone with that username the Frenchman drove very well and very cleanly. Kudos to them.
My most amount of penalties was 45 secondes on Le mans, I didn't change tiers at the beginning of the rain and kept going out adding more and more penalties as the turn went on

Ahem, Laguna Seca GR4 was quite good cause everyone was like “G70 is the meta use it or you’ll lose”….i used an Alfa155 and pulled away and won. Mind you it was a High C lobby with tons of deaths behind me.
I used a Corvette and won because it turns so much sharper than the G70......the G70 is quick but it's a pig around the hairpin turn....

I love that Steve just has a race saved in a 'break in case of bad weekly races' case.
I never understood that bridge corner if PD make a 'fantasy' track why not make is as smooth and nice as possible
This shows how good this game can be when we have great daily's PD 😭
Honestly, the lead did the same thing I do sometimes which is let the pressure get to him. I’ll have an incredible first lap, but become too focused on recreating what I did, which opens me up to mistakes.
Skipped the intro and went straight into action. God I love this channel.
Ahh what a track, I remember when this daily came I was awful on the first day but once I understood the track it become one of my favourites, brilliant track.
Solid lesson on how to overdrive and choke up completely! Happens to us all.
Absolutely loved this video! Sure, I watch every video you make, but this one... The race in itself was on point, the highlighting the strategy difference via picture-in-picture and the whole F1-style (where they show crucial moments in the similar format) was on point - everything was just 👌

It’s your commentary that we love more than the game.
I would say that the fact you were not gaining on the BMW for that first lap after you pit shows that while he could not get past you before that you were holding him up and had he started ahead of you he would have pulled away.
man this multiple view point type of video is insane! for a second I was thinking this is some sort of crazy intense championship or something
Focus is everything in both Sim and real racing. I did the Laguna Seca daily race an hour ago, started P5 slower on pace than the leader and equal with P2-4. I won just beacause I waited for everyone to crash, fight or get a penalty. But I've been on the other end as well. In rental karting I've always been quicker than some other guys I was racing on my local karting track. But only over a couple laps or in quali. Then I made some minor mistakes which cost you about quarter or half a second. Didn't cost me wins or podiums because there were always a handfull dudes who were just driving every day and could destroy almost anyone on this circuit, but I could have finished a lot of these races inside the top half of the field if not for these brain farts or sudden losses of talent.

Props to you of course and the BMW smart move knowing that he would’ve 100% gave up his position if he changed tires but at least he fought in p1 until the very end. Bold move but done greatly
It's funny how a 1.5 second penalty costs you SIGNIFICANTLY more than 1.5 seconds like on that straight.

Maybe his steering wheel unclipped. This happens to my mate often whilst we play and similar sort of thing happens as u suddenly lose control then have to try tighten down ur wheel again

I play with remote play on pc, and when ever the two devices lose connection, I drive like that.

Little is being talked about how likely this guy took a moment to scratch his balls and was on a controller, which when you think about it it makes awful lot of sense, he could only keep the gas on but not steer
Honestly some of the best editing you’ve done mate!! We become way more immersed in the race with you showing the live performances of your competitors alongside!!!
those penalties are WILD. you go wide= penalty, you crash ur car = penalty, you breath air = penalty. what a joke.
Maybe the supra was just very tired, I think we've all kept playing when we should have gone to bed.
frustration i would think, cursing himself for the first mistake then it goes from bad to worse! it proves you must "HAVE 💯% CONCENTRATION" if you want to be good at SIM racing,learn from your mistakes,great video as always Steve 👍👍👍

This was one of my all-time favorite daily races and I was still using controller back then. This is one I would not mind a rehash now that I have a wheel seems PD is rehashing a lot of races lately.

This is by far the worst week of daily races ever.
It's interesting because these were the exact combos of a couple of months ago and still they weren't so popular then. I wonder if the guy that selects the combos at PD for the dailies is drunk or what
Today I got like a 3 secs for exiting the pit lane some type of way incorrectly lol and a few more later in the same lap and still one cause I was locked in after that and we all and to drive slow because of the rain on the lap. Had to be close to 10 secs in penalties though smh

Well, you have less time in the pit compared to when you change your tires.
That was a GREAT race. Too bad he went off in the grass. Would have been great to see him trying to power along like he was for the entirety. He did great 👍🏾
I drove 1h spa the race was dry's to wet's and back to dry's. And i went too early back to dry's so i went wide and when i got back on the track i have gotten a 22 second penalty

Seems like P1 was using a gamepad after the first lap. His movements are jerky.
Maybe has something to do with his wheel malfunctioning at some point and quickly switched to a handheld controller/gamepad.
Anyone else think that super GT should do the endurance races in FM8?

i mean mph to kmh is just multiplying it with 1.6, or 1.5 and call it close enough if you're lazy like me lol
