  • Today is the day!!!! I’m colouring my hair again with another type of henna. This time I decided to try Jamila Henna by Henna Sooq.
This is another finely sifted henna powder that promises to give you rich red tones. I’m very excited to see how it comes out! :)

Applying henna is a long and messy procedure but the way you have done it makes one feel how relaxing and soothing one must be feeling with henna on hair

After several years of doing henna, it really becomes pretty easy and not messy at all:) I just put some documentary series on...25-30mins and it's done. Perfect for a single episode! x

@@PeacefulBeauty really happy to know that you are an old user of henna. I am glad you liked jamila henna which is produced in my country, Pakistan. How did you get to start using henna?

@@maya.123. Yes, Jamila is wondeful! I have one of the beautiful packets that Henna Sooq used to sell. It's the original packaging with pretty girl on it. I love it. Don't want to open it, it's so pretty. It's from Pakistan! I just wanted something completely natural for my hair and henna seemed like a great option! + I find when using henna my hair appear to be much thicker than they are and less hair shedding. Have you been using henna for a while too?

@@PeacefulBeauty yes i love to apply henna on my hair. I love everything of henna. I love the smell of henna paste, the relaxing feel when its on head, the way it conditions the hair and last but not the least, the beautiful colour it gives ❤️

@@maya.123. yes! It's very cooling on the head isn't it? I managed to eventually be ok with the smell of henna, don't mind it at all. But the very first time I tried it, I felt sick from the smell. You get used to things:)

I love this video so much! Thank you for sharing! Just like you, I use red raj (as we spoke about previously on your other video lol) I’ve been curious about trying the other henna’s such as the organic Indian Rajasthani & Jamilla. I’m glad you pointed out how it’s not that orange- gives me even more of a reason to try it. I also noticed my red raj applications have been leaning more towards that orangey tint versus red. I heard someone say that Jamilla is a lot less drying on the hair and easier to rinse out. Do you find this to be true? Thanks again for creating such beautiful content 💖❤️💖❤️

Thank you so much, I'm glad you have enjoyed this video:) To be honest I haven't noticed much difference in terms of dryness of the hair. I would say Red Raj henna is still my favourite:) Don't mind the initial orange that much, as it's not that noticeable on dark hair. Did you mention that you have dark hair as well? Also I have been very consistent with my henna applications since last summer, so I can see that those grey hair that used to be coloured orange with henna are not that noticeable anymore. I did have henna + indigo application a few months ago, so maybe that helped. But indigo fades pretty fast for me.
