    Points to remember:
    1) Quality of henna/mehendi, cassia, indigo, tea tree oil and herbs should be good and all-natural. Poor quality, bad results. 😪
    2) henna or indigo or cassia might be old and you might not store those in cool dark area. So they demise quickly.
    3) if your hair is thick and black then either try 75% indigo paste and just 25% henna paste in one-step process
    Or
    You can try 2 step process, first apply henna paste wash it and then apply indigo paste within a day or 2
    4) do not mix lemon or curd or yogurt in henna
    5) keep paste on for 4-6 hrs
    6) you can also put again the paste in 1-2 weeks if you have lot of grey hair and putting this for the first time.
    7) follow same steps as i shown in video, indigo and henna paste demise quickly. Do not store paste just apply immediately after dye release
    8) first just wash with water, shampoo after 2 days
    9) mix some tea tree oil for better color
    10) mix fresh aloe vera or aloe vera powder to add shine and moisture.
    It always worked on me, my family and all my clients 😊

    It’s taken me a few years to perfect my mix which is simply cassia with a pinch of indigo for depth of color. I mix and apply (to roots only ) immediately and sleep with covered overnight. I am a natural blond and this covers my grey and is a honey blond color.

      When you say "a pinch" do you mean something like a 1/4 teaspoon of indigo per 100 grams of cassia? Or less. This sounds really interesting I have never heard of mixing indigo and cassia.

    Hi! I'm having some trouble with divergent informations about Cassia. Here in Brazil, most people say Cassia alone is "neutral" and that it will not color grey hair, but in some english websites and videos I see people using Cassia for turning greys into blonde. What information is true? Is it necessary to mix a little bit of henna (lawsonia) to a bigger amount o Cassia in order to get a blonde color, or Cassia alone mixed with water or tea is enough??? Will I get coppery blonde if I mix a bit of henna with Cassia? I want to avoid copper tones, I'm a natural brunette with some balayage (bleached) and some greys, and I was looking for a healthier way of making my greys look more like golden/honey blonde. P.S.: sorry for my english.😅

    • @HennaStyles
      @HennaStyles  Год назад +3

      Try little henna with cassia 40-60, cassia alone is very light gold/blonde. If you want darker then increase henna and if you want lighter than add more cassia. Its safer to try on a strand of your hair.

    I wonder, why did you use the black tea to mix up the cassia? I'm asking because I always used only water. I do cassia on my hair to get golden tones. I'm natural dark blonde✨❤️

      Tea has little acidic nature, it helps extract color and maintain it longer. Water is ok too. ❤️❤️❤️

      @@HennaStyles amazing, so If I want to get a lot more golden tones from neutral henna (cassia) I should use tea. Thank you so much!! ✨✨✨✨How frequently should I use cassia? Leaving in etc? What do you suggest? ❤️

      Its a plant. You can apply as frequently as you want. Within 4-8weeks is good enough. Keep in hair for 4hrs.

    I thought you shouldn't use metal when stirring the henna

      If henna is all natural and pure it doesn’t react with metal. But the henna with chemicals reacts with metal.

    I'm a man in early 20s. I have greys. I avoid henna because I'm a man and i have very short hair. I know indigo needs henna as a base layer to stick but i tried organic indigo alone on my greys anyway. It gave blue purplish black color. It doesn't last long (completely fades in few days / 2 wash) and everytime i touch my hair the blue color stains my fingers. So, half of the indigo still in my my drawer. I decided to just embrace my greys. Chemicals dyes will cause more problems so i don't want to take the risk 😄

    • @HennaStyles
      @HennaStyles  2 года назад

      Try 2-step with henna indigo. It will give you dark brown/black color. Or try 1-step with more % of indigo than henna. Indigo will not stick alone with hair protein.

      If you're curious and you want to tint your greys more gold than silver, without being obvious when hair grows out, just use Cassia. It leaves a subtle gold tone, is good for the scalp, and fades in 3 weeks without leaving obvious roots. Not as complicated as Henna. @@ironlake8944

    I love the concept of your video but I'm left with a lot of questions. The powders in the bowls that you are mixing together are not labeled so I'm unclear what you are mixing together and what each powder/liquid does. In one part of the video you suggest adding salt. What does adding salt do? Adding all the extra powders, instead of just using henna or indigo, does what? You do not mention quantities in order to get a specific result. What are your ratios? For example what and how much of each powder would be mixed together if we want strawberry blonde hair when we are starting with dirty blonde hair with white hair/greys that need to be covered. You're moving fast through the results at the end of each experiment. Please consider pausing the frames so that we can see the result of your clever experiment. Thank you for considering these clarifications so that we can benefit from your efforts. 😊

      You need to mix a little and try a strand test on your hair. And accordingly adjust the quantity of henna/indigo/cassia. Please watch my other videos for more details on one-step and two-step processes

    Heyyy, you need to do some research on what a chemical is. Without chemicals life would not be possible. All your ingredients, your body, plants, animals, they are all full of chemicals. So if you say 'make sure there is no chemicals', you need to be more specific on what chemical you mean!

    • @HennaStyles

      No chemicals meaning only farmers grown plant products organically.
