    Loved the result !! I am from India and have been applying henna since 8 years but recently switched to Chemical dye and trust me it was a really bad decision and did not even color my roots properly. Switching back to henna now and yes after applying henna we apply mustard oil as it cancels the drying effect of henna and after that just shampoo and conditioner as usual !! Much 💕

    Thank you for stopping by, friends. Wishing you a happy and, beautiful weekend! 🍓 I just shampooed my hair agin last night and it smells amazing, and I'm so happy with this color, it looks wonderful under the sun. Such a great color for the summer. Please remember, your hair probably won’t look like mine. Henna looks different on every single person that does it. You can follow this step-by-step, and you may not end up with a result that matches what you see on my hair now. It may not be drastically different, because I have been doing henna for a long time and I have a lot of color built up, so the shade of red you achieve with henna depends on what your hair looks like before you put the henna on. Good luck to you all! ❤

    You are so cute, love this video! I am embarking on a brand new henna journey and so glad this popped up on my FY page! I just did my first henna last night with the 30 minute reshma beauty light brown color. Do you have any experience with this product/brand? I was worried it would turn out orangey on me but it did not, it’s soooo dark! So I’m glad I did not go with a darker shade to start off! I think I will try your method next time as I was further researching the reshma ingredients and learned there are some chemicals in there that are studied to have negative effects on cells so I don’t think I will use that product again although the 30 minute time was wonderful, one of the reasons for switching to henna in the first place was to not put harmful chemicals on my head! I would love to know if you have any comments/ experience with that brand! Thank you!

    • @RoseBaby
      @RoseBaby  Год назад +4

      Henna dye release has a peak time, and after the peak, henna loses its power and will not color your hair as well. I find in the hot summer henna will release the dye faster than when the weather is cold. You can look up henna dye release chart on the internet.

      I mixed: 214 grams of henna
      25 grams hibiscus powder
      12 grams Aloe Vera powder and coffee
      You can let your henna set longer for dye release just remember,
      When the weather is hot, your henna paste will release dye fast. When the weather is cold, your henna will release dye slowly.

      @@EmeraldRubyTea I'm not sure why hair is so much more porous than skin, and how henna art works to stain the skin for so long. I can only say that the henna and indigo I get on my ears, temples, and neck washes away really easily when I'm done. But my hair holds the coloring for months. I think it may be something in the binding with the proteins in one's hair, which are not present in the top layers of skin. Henna art on one's hands though, I have no idea why that lasts.

      I still use the clay and I love it, but I realized from the comments I got that a lot of people didn't know what it is, and it's not available everywhere so that's why I'm always searching for new ideas and testing out new recipes so I can share what works for me on here and give you guys more options.
      As far as the coffee recipe, I really like the color effects that the coffee gave the rest of my hair. To me it looks different than the red clay and kind of lighter too which I prefer for the summer.

      Does the coffee affect you as though you drank it? I do not consume caffeine so I'm worried about that.

    • @roxanamalkawi7264

      @@FilomenaKandolaRAWif you don't usually consume coffee just stay away from it because it will get into your body and it might get you high blood pressure!! Be aware of it.
      Just replace the coffee with the distilled water. It will be better choice for you.

      @@FilomenaKandolaRAWyes some of it does get absorbed through the scalp. I once did it late at night and had trouble sleeping. I’m not super sensitive to caffeine so assume it will affect most people

      It is safe to use henna while you're pregnant. Just make sure the henna you buy is 100% pure all natural henna, from the henna plant, with no added chemicals.

    I bought this brand of henna, but from the back of the package, it says to wait 8 hrs, but you say only 3. I really can’t wait 8 hours. I have things to do. Did you wait 8 hours the first time? Also, I noticed you didn’t use any indigo. Your hair is very dark. I thought you would only have reddish hair if you don’t use indigo.

    thank you for your video, but filling 1 bath with 200 liters of drinking water is not good especially in 2024, the water should not be wasted! Prefer the shower palm, more convenient and more ecological in water!

      TlFor me it was the henna quality or maybe something went wrong with the mixing process. It can be washing your hair thoroughly before. And when I left it overnight I had very good results

    How to avoid those red and burgundy shades while coloring hair with natural ingredients????!! You allways has no shades, only those parts of video just after applying Henna. It seems like majority of time you use absolutely another type of chemicals...

    • @denyshadials5702
      @denyshadials5702 11 месяцев назад +1

      If you want no color use cassia obivata or Zizyphus instead of henna. Henna is a plant that contains RED natural dye, called Lawson. It ranges from bright copper orange to deep burgundy, depending on the region it’s grown. Just use a different plant.

    well all of this would be so great if it wasn't for the incredible expense every month .. $60 for just 200g of Henna, `and then there's the rest of it that I'm not even going to add up right this moment .. and if you see my comment, would you please say again how long you let your "henna batter" sit before using? I couldn't understand your accent .. thanks
