For me as a mother of three I could never let one of my children be „a little mother“ for a sibling.
Helping out sometimes is okay - but not in regular bases!
I would stand up earlier in the morning to take care of my children by my own!
Every child has the right of her own childhood.
Tess has taken on the role of Mother to her sister. I hope she does not bypass emotional development for herself. Zoey is blessed to have Tess for a sister. Mom is lucky to have another mum in the house
I hope mum doesnt take Tess for Granted. Tess has to live her life too. What about her own future?
The fact that the “little sister” became the “big sister.” And she’s such an amazing one.❤️
They really are second to none🤗
Tess is just the sweetest and kindest sister. What a blessing she is. 💕 Zoe is a real sweetheart.
Lovely Family . This is one of these moments I regret to be the only child . The sisters have such a precious relationship
What an incredibly sweet child Tess is! Most kids would feel very uncomfortable having a sibling with special needs. Some kids are just born with a bigger heart and more compassion than alot of us. I hope she continues to become an amazing adult as well. Mom and Dad should be extremely proud of both girls. But Tess, is JEWEL. Sending hugs and love from Tacoma, WA. I also have a special needs child. At 28, he's now becoming independent. Your family is an inspiration!
It‘s a good education to teach your child that disabilities are nothing „bad“!
Thanks for sharing. My daughter has 4P- too, she's 23 and was verbal until about 6 when her seizures started. She now attends a day program with work
When Tess is older I hope she realizes it's fine to prioritize herself over her sister. The love and care they now share is absolutely admirable and I'm sure will last a lifetime but I hope things like career, travel and romance are never altered because of Tess feeling an obligation to her sister.
who would take care of her? everyone deserves breaks of course but when the parents die, someone needs to be there most of the time. is it fair, maybe not but the disabled sister didn't ask to be born, it's not her fault either, it just is what it is and I hope you're not advocating institutionalize her
@@free2bkittenforever She is under no such obligation to spend her entire life caring for her sister just because they are related. If there is a home that can help care for her sister so that Tess can actually live her life, that would be just fine
@@hollydaugherty2620 you realize most of these homes are abusive, right? Why is that fair to the sister?
@@hollydaugherty2620 getting a personal care attendant would be fine, but they’re not full time so Tess will still need to be involved in Zoe’s life. Group homes are awful places where people unlucky enough to have no family end up
Yes, when does Tess get to be a child?? Her parents need to take more responsibility and not rely on Tess as she could become bitter later
What a amazing sister and family you have got to amazing kids well done parents you are doing great in making sure your kids needs are met you are amazing all of you the bond you guys have is beautiful and very special
I love it I think that is so sweet the big sister takes up time with the little sister those are a lot of things help sir that is so sweet God knew what he was doing is the sweetest thing you have got to sweet girls there amen
It really got to me seeing Tess in the "I believe in Santa" shirt. it goes to show the class of worlds Tess lives in. Tess feels the need to be a caregiver and sort of a mini adult for Zoe but, looking at the shirt should remind everyone - Tess is only 9 years old. She is a child.
You have amazing, amazing girls. Thank you for sharing.
what an amazing pair of sisters. 💕
I just hope Tess gets to have a life of
her own.
The love is palpable. What a beautiful family.
What a beautiful family!
What a beautiful family 💫♥️
It hurts my heart to see the parentification of Tess.
Amazing family
Zoe is sooo cute😍😍😍😍😍😍
That is so sweet they have a special bond that's great that the sister looks after her hope they always have that bond.
She s cute thow syndrome or not so is her helpful sister and there so adorable together
It’s okay if your sister is your favorite darling, we won’t tell mom and dad 🤫❤️
Why does this make me so uneasy?
Such a lovely relationship! 🤟❤️🥰
What a lovely family. 👍❤️
So let me get this straight, Tess has to “parent” zoey when the parents don’t feel like it, ok awesome….
Mother is clueless about nutrition. Sandwich on the morning, sandwich at lunch and pizza at evening would brake anyone’s immune system.
she also needs things that are soft enough for her to eat. remember her throat didn't form properly.... it's easy to judge when you aren't in that position
Break...
Judge much?!
Actually, pizza can be made rather healthy. How do you know that wasn’t cauliflower dough? Just saying. I guess even when you have the most amazing family, someone will find something to judge.
@@livylu6287 Your 100% right always has to be one person who has to judge regardless
How can you judge someone when your not in their shoes I don't understand people who judge others constantly when it has nothing to do with them
Let it go let them be happy they obviously are well taken care of
🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Tess is great. Mom, not so much. And I am a single mom, I know what I am talking about.
Why do Australians love the name Zoe.
Thats funny. The family is actually New Zealanders not Australian
I can't help but wonder how much this is costing the taxpayers.
And that means what.
What do you mean ?
