What an inspirational family. My favourite were the two older boys with their maturity and wonderful attitude. They're only young kids themselves, quite amazing!
I know, that was so sweet when he was like, "hi maddie, im going to give you a kiss now" & then them all playing on the trampoline with the older brothers making sure everyone was included in the fun. That says a lot about those kids, because they AREN'T being forced to be so loving & understanding.
I was a first child, born 5 years into my parents' marriage and 5 years before a set of male twins who had a visual impairment genetically passed down my mother's family. She carried so much guilt and grief that I was totally set aside and expected to "grow up" on the spot. I have no idea how she would have coped had the twins' disabilities been as complex as those depicted here!
Incredible parents, siblings as well as school workers! I'm always so fascinated by how well these teachers work with the disabilities of the children as well as the children themselves. So inspiring!
What a kind and loving mother. God bless you sweetheart, I hope your children have the best lives possible. I pray for happiness and good health for Madelyn and Felix
This is a beautiful family. I work with kids with severe and profound multiple disabilities. The kids I work with are amazing. They have such beautiful spirits.
This was a good vlog. I am glad to see you communicate with your twins with a presumption of competency. I have raised a foster son with non speaking (severe) autism, and for eight years I didn’t know he understood what I was saying; and he had many behaviours and tears. Then he learnt to type, and I that he’s smart (98th percentile), and the behaviours and tears stopped completely. Just be careful what you say around them as I know he likely understands everything, and your daughter may too
My highest respect to this mom..I am so proud of your oldest boys they are so responsible and helpful...God bless you all. There will always be a rainbow after the sun🌈 .
I cried, because it's very emotional dealing with a special needs child. People are mean in this world. I wonder how many nights she cries and how tired she gets every day. Just as a mom. Praying for strength for you and your family
Wow this is really eye opening. Ive been so stressed and giving myself a pity party bc my second child is 3 and hasnt started talking yet. He has mimicked a couple of words here & there but his brother was full on speaking sentences by this age, hence the worry. But it really could be so much more difficult, considering he doesnt have any actual health issues. These parents really are the kind of people i aspire to be
That parent-to-parent thing offering types of classes, like art, is a great idea. Not everyone wants to sit around in a group therapy/support situation and just talk.
What a sweet couple both speak so softly I think Felix liked the bath it is so good you got out and found some help it seems have been good for you love to all 🌿🐦🌴🌿🐦🌴

I love how real this story is. It’s ok struggling to bring up special needs kids and it’s ok to feel it’s unfair and it’s ok to admit you wish things were different. This lady should not feel she is an inadequate mum because she.can’t do it all. She is doing the best she can and that is enough. I hope she can see just what a loving mother she is.
Both. Often times it is a random occurrence in genetic combination. Sometimes it is a birth injury caused by lack of oxygen to the brain. The limb disorder happens early in the pregnancy Initial development starts with the spine and nervous systems and then the brain and organs. It is no one's fault or anything the mother did during pregnancy that causes this to happen. I know because my daughter and I both have a genetic condition. Very mild but still remarkable that she ended up with the same thing I did and I didn't even know anything was going on with me.
Both myself and my Daughter have medical issues including my brother from Dads side of the family were in pain 24/7 but we have to carry on regardless ... The Family are so special and Mum is amazing 💜🙏💜 Dad is so loving too the older and youngest are also adorable 💜🙏💜
Is there a life expectancy for the disorder these beautiful kids have? I have watched this video one other time. These twins seem fairly happy and healthy despite their challenges
They can live long happy lives but will always need caregivers. Eventually will end up in a special needs home once their parents can't look after them due to old age.
It seems a little bit as though mom is still a stranger to the twins. Hopefully she gains more confidence in herself and realizes that's no matter what she's am amazing mom and is doing the best that she can do..

They had no other option.
Many older siblings are also often used as third caregivers ...

These parents are heroes.
You are a wonderful family and a great mother and father. I have two children a boy and a girl and my son was born with fragile X

God Bless this mum & the beautiful children she's raising along with her loving, fully involved partner & husband as well. 🙏❤🙌

That's one strong mom. I couldn't do it.
You would have no choice. Just like this mum.

I dont think in morning she was trying to hit i think her arms where moving more involuntarily
Maybe Felix wants to eat with his feet.
Kudos to mom, she is a trooper!
Don't know why Felix wants to eat with his feet
Boy, what a cross these parents bear……..Prayers their way❤
I would like to know what caused the disabilities. Genetics? Problems during development?

What kind of lives can these poor kids have? Not one but both kids?
Mine does too
Life is unfair...
No such thing as normal I hate that word it's like saying everything is perfect nothing is wrong but that's wrong it's not

this is inspirational, but she should have terminated the pregnancy. Madelines isn't living she's existing and thats not right
They are living beings. Both twins ended up with disabilities. Both seen pretty happy and healthy. That is all that matters.
Abortions just so easy isn’t it? Who’s to say what life is? Who are you to say what life is?
The dad don't seeem 2 do alot just pllay with tthm. Mum does everything
He works. This is just a sample of their lives.
